I'd rather drive 20 minutes further to avoid this store. Dirty, overpriced, long lines, and understaffed. Their self check out lanes have TERRIBLE programming that stop every 3 items and it's really the only option when one other lane is open. Absolutely hate it there.

Understaffed, dirty, long lines, inattentive management, high prices, weak deli…. This was one of the better Pick ‘n Saves. When it became a Metro Market, it was supposed to be something better. Now it’s getting to be another dumpy store run by an out of state company, destining for closure.

This used to be my go to store. Not anymore. Yesterday I bought some groceries for dinner for the next two days. This included 2 bell peppers, one yellow, one orange, they were on sale two for $3 and looked fine. Until I cut into them. I cut into the yellow one and literally screamed before almost getting sick. Not only was it brown but there was a LIVE BUG in the pepper! Idk how but it was alive. The second one was moldy on the inside. I called the store, hopefully they pulled the peppers, but due to this experience I will NEVER IN LIFE shop there again. I've never seen a pepper that looked perfectly fine on the outside but had a bug just chillen inside. That was a first, and hopefully only. Just be careful shopping there!

I am a regular customer at Metromarket at 128st and Capitol drive ,Brookfield ,WI. Today I visited the store 7PM and was standing in queue for customer service while the agent was serving a customer. There was a notice that read closed but the hours of service stated 8Am to 9 PM. I waited for 5min and when my turn came the agent said the counter is closed and she can not attend to my sales. She could have told me when I joined the queue itself. I asked for manager and manger also said the counter is closed from 6:30PM. Neither of them bother to ask what I need. That is customer service at Metro market!

I'm in the store on a regular basis but about a month ago at work I recived very very bad health news about a very close family member that instantly changed my life I walked in the store and was truly lost in my head I got to the deli counter and was greeted by Rachel she was very polite as always and noticed I was upset she immediately checked on me and listened to me I felt better like in the middle of my storm someone cared and that's alot I'm today's society as always im in the store a few times a week and lately if I stop by the deli counter she remembers me and ask about my family member and checks on me it means so much to know im not treated just like another customer to spend some money but she actually cares about the customers hats off to her.

The store has been very terrible to say the least. It’s the closest store to me and I avoid it at all costs. I went last night and the majority of the produce is molding. It has to have been sitting there for a while. Fruit flies everywhere. The selection is getting worse and worse. No registers open. Only self checkout. The self checkouts must never be cleaned/maintained, because the scanners do not work. The scale for the groceries doesn’t work properly. I scanned 50 items and the worker had to come 5x to override because it was either wasn’t detecting the item or it thought an item was removed. Prices are higher than competitors - so why isn’t produce kept up to date, adequately staffed, or properly maintained equipment?Also tried to contact them directly and it wouldn’t even allow me to submit any comments. So, they must not really care.

This store is horrible!!! Management what's that? Pure joke. They never have enough cashiers or baggers. If I'm spending $350 I will not be scanning and bagging. Just add me to payroll. Why does it smell like fish by the meat counter. I wouldn't buy anything from there.

This store is the most poorly managed store i have ever shopped at. Checking out is always extremely slow because there are usually only 2 lines open no matter what day or time. You can expect there to be at least four people in front of you with full carts. There doesn’t seem to be anyone in charge that would call more workers to open lanes. It is extremely frustrating to say the least. I am switching to Woodmans where there are always at least 8 open lanes with baggers. Not only that but the prices are much lower. And 8 pack of coke is $3.00 cheaper. A box of Tide is $4 cheaper. I’ve had it with Metro Market…

why is this store so ghetto from the ppl they hire to the people that shop there they need security it's not safe, the store be dirty and the ppl that work there are rude and treat the customers rude, prices is high and they don't ever have any fresh food in the deli no chickens rotisserie missing alot on the shelves!

Stopped in at 8pm. Line of 25+ people waiting to checkout as no registers were open other than self checkout. The best part is they didn't even have all the self checkout registers open. There were two employees standing at the service desk just watching us wait in line, and another 3 employees chatting at a closed register, and two others in eyesight not addressing the problem. Clean store, complete joke of management. I try not to stop at pick save because of the expired food we were always provided when we did curbside pickup, I'll add this to the list of reasons not to shop at any PicknSave, even in emergencies like this one. Shop the Pig!

Prices are good/ok. Lines for checkout are ridiculous. Employees are so slow and have ZERO consideration in trying to make lines go faster. Self checkout is so sensitive that some items aren’t weighed properly in the bagging section so it tells you item needs to be bagged. Overcrowded. I’d rather spend more and go to Meijer.

I've been here like 4 times since I moved to the area. One time there were no carts available in the entire store. One time the place was PACKED and there were only 2 regular registers open, so we used the self checkout, only to find there were no bags at any of the stations... just didn't seem very well run in general.Adding that I'm here right now on a Saturday and there is one register open and a huge line.

Cashier spoke so quietly that you could barely hear her. Asked several times to speak louder. Asked for rain check on 6 pack soda since none could be found and no employee was available. About 10 minutes later an employee came back with 12 pack cans and not the 6 packs requested. Asked if these cans were on sale but employee had no idea. Finally sent to refund desk and lady was about as unfriendly as you could imagine. Neither cashier or refund lady asked for my phone number or Metro card for any possible discounts on my other purchases. I apologized to everyone for taking their time but the employees were not interested. Receipt on other purchases stated that I would have saved $1.20 if cashier or claim check person would have asked me for my Kroger card or phone number which I neglected to remember. Poor customer service

Currently waiting in a line for self checkout that’s all the way down the aisle to the meat department. The lady who works here (who is standing outside smoking) told us there’s only 3 employees working today… then why are you outside smoking? This store has gotten so ridiculous.

First off the store is dirty as hell, there’s messes everywhere and you have the slowest cashiers in human history. Your self check out machines aren’t calibrated and either don’t scan items or keep telling me the stuff I already bagged isn’t in the damn bag. Never coming here again

This place was never GREAT… But it definitely used to be better. Walking in, you’re immediately assaulted by the smell of moldy socks. Fruit is never fresh Employees don’t really care what’s going on. Customer service desk tried to act like they don’t do what I needed and argued with me until I pulled up proof online. Still didn’t know what to do, so they finally call a manager. Problem solved right? Wrong. The manager apparently didn’t want to help according to the employees who spoke with him on the phone. I’m sorry, I didn’t realize y’all got to choose who to help depending on your mood that day. Needless to say I won’t be coming back. Like ever.

I want to give this grocer 100% because its my only option for fresh produce and meat but the SMELL is unbearable! The last 8 months have been olfactory anguish! I now tack on 10 miles round trip to stop at whole paycheck.. *cough cough* i mean whole foods for meat and produce. Flabbergasted that management doesnt address the rotting flesh smell... also not too pleased that the "essentials" are marked up astronomically!

This place honestly is fantastic! That remodel really made this store stand out and feel like I’m walking into a high end grocery store. Great stocking and selection, and it’s really clean and kept up. The ONLY reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it feels like they never have enough check out workers. When I do large runs, I don’t want to self checkout $200 worth of groceries. That’s a pain! That needs to change and I’ll give 5 stars.

Jan is amazing and so sweet. I had 2 carts full of groceries with only self checkout open and she helped scan everything without any complaining. She included my daughter in our conversation and made the long checkout enjoyable. Thanks Jan

Love this store!!! Clean and friendly store. Employees are definitely ready to help you. Check out is a bliss and they greet you with joy!! The store is great food that's fresh the bakery lady made my daughter LOL cupcakes I loved it she was so gracious and did a great job all the ladies back by deli and bakery had me smiling and thanking them and they were so soft and fluffy cupcakes made them to perfection with all decorations I asked for. Thanks
