I spent a lot of time researching daycares before choosing Central Bark for my pup, and the opinions I got from neighbors and colleagues were all unanimous that Central Bark is the best. You can tell that every employee generally cares for the dogs. I have a large dog, and I have never once felt that they were unable to handle her or had any issues managing her size and temperament. She comes home happy and tired after every visit! I love seeing the pictures they post of the pups every day.

This team is OUTSTANDING!!!! So many thanks to Mera, Brian and Jessica for the LOVE, care and professionalism each and every time. We had so many horrific experiences with groomers for almost two years for our puppy Kaya. Now, she couldn’t be happier and more excited when she walks in the door. We’ve been going to Central Bark Brookfield now going on three years. The environment is so welcoming and we are obsessed with how Kaya looks and smells after her spa day!

We LOVE Central Bark Brookfield. Our dog has been going there for several months. He loves to go in and play with his friends. He comes home tired which is great to have an evening without his normal puppy energy!!! We have also boarded him there 3 times, the longest for 8 days. They watched over him so well and sent us reports on how he was doing. He is generally not a great eater at home and they made sure he ate well at boarding by adding different things to his kibble to make sure he ate. I can't say enough great things about them. The staff clearly loves dogs and provides exceptional customer service!!!

I so appreciate Central Bark Brookfield for allowing my Dexter to join their daycare program.Dexter suffers from anxiety and does not want to be away from me. I get him groomed at Central Bark (Mara does a great job and he looks adorable every time) so I thought this would be a good environment for him to attend the daycare program.Jessica ( the owner is caring, explains everything in detail and truly is great to work with. Brian is so friendly and you can tell he cares. I highly recommend Central Bark Brookfield for your fur babies.

Our pup Saki absolutely loves Central Bark. She can barely contain herself when we pull into the parking lot. She loves the staff and other pup friends. I love how the staff truly gets to know the dogs needs and treats them as their own. I fully trust them with her and love that she has a place to go that she enjoys each week!

What a great staff. Our dog checks in for a little spa treatment every couple of months and completely loves it. But the staff understands dogs. That's all I should need to say. Looking for doggy daycare? Looking to get a little grooming done? You can go here, no worries.

I remember calling here originally trying to get an appointment for a puppy. The owner thought I was someone else and refused to schedule. When I explained I had previously taken dogs there and who I was she accepted us. Fast forward I was happy with the services at Central Bark…but then I started noticing things. Like every time they make a mistake they blame it on a dog dying. How the prices jumped for grooming costs without any communication to me. How they don’t have weekend availability. How I was told my dog would be ready in two hours but in reality it was more like 3. I get grooming sometimes goes over-but what I found out is they were back there taking photos of her and posting to social media. I wonder was my dog stressed out about this…I wonder why they didn’t tell me about the photos? I had a new puppy I wanted to bring in on 3/1 to get used to the environment but when I got there I was told she could not stay. Jessica is the owner. She is very rude. Don’t waste your time on this place - go somewhere else it’s not the same as when the previous owner had it.Ps. I was not going to post this-but when someone told me by baby was posted to their Facebook page on 3/8 and I had cancelled all future services 3/1 and explained my concerns I thought I should.Edited to respond to owner:While I appreciate your reply it conflicts with what I personally experienced. Why post pictures of a dog whose owner shared they were very unhappy with services a week after the upset occurred? I had cancelled our subscription to your services. Therefore, that contract was cancelled. Please remove any photos of my dog.I was told prices increase based on weight and condition of said dogs coat. My dog was never matted. She weights 15 pounds. She has weighted the same since she started services. We have not been attending for over a year so I’m not sure where we would fall on your price increase guidelines. Maybe in the the future give out fliers at pickup to notify price increases. I ever notified that my dogs coat condition needed to be addressed. I could appreciate a price increase for good services but as a consumer I expect to get properly notified. Referencing a board that was not used to get the original pricing does not seem as an efficient way to gauge the cost when I talk with staff directly each visit. The prices change dependent on who checks you out. Also, while we are speaking of boards to notify- the door gives hours of operation available by appointment for Saturdays. Not only that, a rather large unleashed dog was brought to the front area where I was located when I asked to be further educated about pricing. This dog was able to roam the entire store and was not behind the counter. None of my behavior constituted for this approach. I was not aggressive. I did not speak loudly. I remained calm about the situation.Brian told me you were only interested in having one groomer. He said the primary focus of your location was the dog daycare services. He said grooming clients “only come on average once every 8 months”. My dog was coming every 8 weeks. We tipped well. I was even scheduled for rest of the year.Mera let me know each time my dog would be ready in about two hours. On 3/1, she did the same. However, on this day she was not ready. To address the loss of an animal. It’s interesting you say that- when I called originally I told you my dog was put down unexpectedly and he’d been to your salon before. You spoke rudely over me and did not once empathize with my grief. I think you squeezed me in because you were embarrassed that I was not the persons name you called me. We were not scheduled for about 3 months.I am not trying to debate but give you honest feedback. Please use it for improving your business. Please look into ensuring all of your staff are educated on the policies you choose to enforce. Treat your regulars with respect.I did get your voicemail. I elected not to call you back because of your previous behavior. You checked us in on 3/1/24. You had the opportunity to address it at that time.

Our pooch loves her day care days! She starts to howl and wag and wiggle in the car when she can tell we are getting close to the building! We know she is surrounded by her fur friends but also know that her human friends make her days so fun! Thank you!

Scrunchie loves his daycare days with y’all!! The staff here is amazing/awesome/incredible! They post picture updates each day. The extra enrichment fun and snacks are an added bonus, and it truly shows how much these people care about your fur babies. I would recommend them to anyone.

The employees know all the dogs and owners by name, dogs are in small groups with similar size/temperament and the employee monitoring their play will engage with them. (Not just a herd of dogs running free like a gang!)

I think this might be one of the best dog daycares in the Greater Milwaukee area. There are many locations as it is franchised. Our short experience has shown us that the people working at this location are very thoughtful and care about the dogs they are working with. There is a store front, additional training available, and grooming options in addition to daycare. Check out their website or social media. If you are looking to start daycare or for a change, I highly recommend this location.

We've been taking or two dogs here for a while- we've been happy with the services and our boys are always so excited to go to daycare. One of our dogs requires regular grooming and they do a fabulous job. Staff is very on top of the dogs health requirements which gives me peace of mind and they provide communication as necessary if there are any concerns. They've also been flexible with us when we've needed to make schedule changes which is much appreciated. Thank you for what you do - it's the highlight of their week!

Our dog Riley goes to Central Bark 1 day a week for socialization. When we first rescued him, he was very shy and scared of everyone and everything. With the support of Central Bark, they have allowed him to continue to become who he is. They have helped us help him further. They have been super flexible since I do travel for a living and sometimes my schedule changes from week to week. I would highly recommend them to anyone and know that they will love your dog just as much as you do!!! I am so glad we found them.

I’ve only been here twice with my dog Raymond (doggy day care) but I can already tell you I love this place. The owner was really nice and able to work around some of my work schedule issues. The staff is very pleasant and I can tell my dog loves them, he’s always so happy to see them and runs towards them immediately. He comes home looking like he had a great time and he’s exhausted (and that’s great for me!)Highly recommend!

They had my dog there one day for "observation" on his first day. It cost me 90 dollars. When I picked him up, they said he was great but he had to learn how to stay in his crate! What? He could've stayed in a crate at home. The next day they told me he was "too intense". I thought something was weird because they said he needed a kong filled with peanut butter. Give my dog fatty food so he won't bark in his crate? The whole point of daycare is so he wouldn't have to be in a crate. This told me he wasn't allowed to play enough. He protested when they tried to shove him in a crate. When he's tired at home, he walks in his crate without being told. Go somewhere else. Who knows what be else goes on there.

They welcomed my dog into their pack and treat him like family. He goes to daycare twice a week and has also stayed overnight. They take care of him like he was their own and he comes home tired. As soon as we pull into the parking lot he gets so excited to see everyone, humans and dogs. Highly recommend!

We took our four and a half month old puppy to the Central Bark Brookfield location yesterday morning. She had been well socialized at the dog park and tagging along on patio, brewery, and beer garden dates multiple times a week since we rescued her at 10 weeks old. She’s met dozens of dogs without issue. On the phone while scheduling and during check in I warned them that she gets scared when chased and/or cornered by too many dogs at once. They assured me she’d be slowly introduced. First playtime would be one on one, and if that went well, they’d add one or two more dogs during second play time. We had dropped her off at 7:30am. Before 9:30am they called and said I needed to pick her up. That she was uncomfortable and not enjoying daycare. I left work and rushed there. When I got there they told me she did great and happily played one on one with the other dog during the first introduction. Then she told me in group play she hid and showed her teeth when cornered. I asked how many dogs she was introduced to in group, she hesitated and then said well not more than 5. I’m not sure how anyone trained in dog behavior thinks it’s okay to expose a puppy to a pack of dogs all at once in less than two hours of being in a new space. They also told me she must have separation anxiety. As I was standing there getting these explanations she said do you hear that high pitched bark? Over a dozen dogs were in their kennels and barking incessantly so I said no. She said well that’s her and how we know. I tried to log into my account this morning to make sure I wasn’t charged, less than 24 hours later, and my account was closed. No further explanation, no offer to try again. We went to Hounds & Tap last night to give her a good experience and ensure she didn’t experience any lasting trauma. We explained the situation and they were appalled. Explained that they only put 4 dogs max in a group, did one on one leash introductions for every dog entering the group, and immediately diffuse and distract the other dogs if the group is chasing or cornering one. And if there were any issues they couldn’t correct at the time they’d send them home but try again another day. She played for hours with the other dogs, chasing and being chased, without issue. Any time she was cornered, one of their team members would diffuse the situation and the dogs would spread out and play again. We ignored the warnings about Central Bark because they were on the way to work, that was a mistake. If you care about your furry family members, please seek a more trained staff at a safer location.Editing to include a reply. You said in the facebook review reply that I told a staff member we wouldn’t return. Which never happened. Now in this review reply you’re saying I told my dog we’d never return. Neither of these comments were ever made. Please reflect on how you conduct business and respond to issues.

I have been bringing my dog to Central Bark Brookfield twice a week for almost 4 years. The staff has always been extremely friendly and taken great care of my dog - both at daycare and while boarding. I love the pictures they post on Facebook throughout the day. Highly recommend Jess & Central Bark Brookfield!

My dog is living her best life at Central Bark ; she opens the lobby door by herself and is always welcomed by staff she clearly adores. My dog tells me all I need to know about how much she loves it there. She is high energy and requires a lot of mental stimulation; she is a well rounded dog because of Central Bark Brookfield. I am able to work without an ounce of worry bc I know she’s in good hands. I don’t know what we would do without them.

We have been sending our sweet boy to Central Bark-Brookfield since he was 8 months old. Week by week we’ve observed his confidence build and his love for daycare grow. Our boy runs into daycare every week eager to play with his friends and we get to go about our day knowing our boy is safe, receiving love, and receiving the best possible care from the staff. They also post the cutest pictures to show all the happy faces of daycare each day!

This is the best place EVER! As a first time dog owner, I didn't know what to expect. After the first visit, it was apparent that they love dogs and are dedicated to their charges. I was so nervous at Annie's first day, but I needn't have been. I had to drag her out, and have had to ever since! The staff recognized me right away when I went to pick Annie up, and had her on her way out to me before I even entered the shop. The staff is able to give you information on your dog's day (and I don't know how with all the pups they have!) and are willing to spend a few minutes at the end of the day to enlighten you and answer any questions you have. The grooming is awesome! Annie's ears and nails are very happy. We are looking forward to her first bath tomorrow. Thank you Jessica and Staff!

Minnie has been attending for the past several months and our experience has been great so far. It's been clear the dogs' well-being is the priority from her first day there and it's great that she has a chance to socialize with other dogs in a good environment.

This is the absolute best doggy day care! We moved to Brookfield from Shorewood, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable and felt at home. They have had great communication with us as customers during the pandemic, and have taken fantastic precautions to keep everyone safe. Our dog bounds into the day care with such excitement every time we take her. You can tell everyone cares for her so much!! Thank you Central Bark!
