A passable Chicago-style hot dog. I occasionally pass through Brodhead and always wanted to give this place a try. As a Chicago dog aficionado, I wanted to see what they had to offer. The place is a simple drive-through or walk-up order only. Prices were reasonable. The food was decent, but lacked a few critical details. The beef hot dog was decent and had all the right toppings. The weak point was the bun. It was a nice, fresh potato bun, not the poppy seed bun you’d expect. The biggest issue is the bun was simply served at room temperature which really kept the whole thing from coming together. All in all a decent dog, but not worth going out of your way for.

I went through to get a muffin. They used to be very good and fresh @1.99. Today the price went up to 4.22 plus tax. The muffin was served in a bag cold out of a fridge and no napkin. Definitely not fresh. Dry and way over cooked. My muffin was supposed to be cranberry orange. Not one bit of berry or orange. Just dry and bland flavor. I hope they do some improvement. The service was fine. Very friendly.The building and grounds were nice. But I won't be back.

They say it is always about the people...and this place proves the rule. The service is outstanding, the coffee excellent, and the food menu eclectic enough for any taste. And, while it would be unfair to say it is seemingly in the middle of nowhere...I would rather say that it is a gem in the broad, open land of God's country Wisconsin.

Great location! The workers here are always very nice and polite. They have a lot of different things on the menu not just coffees and muffins. Everything looks really clean and the service is fast and affordable. I highly recommend the Oreo frappe it’s very good!

Good coffee which was a perfect pick me up amidst the music festival I was attending just down the road. I took off one star because it took a very long time for the two cars in front of me to get through the line and because there is no good description of different flavors on the menu. I guess I could just assume they have everything?

Unique, great little place. Have always had friendly service and the food and drinks are good and a value for the money. Just a humble little roadside stand but worth pulling in on your way to/from Madison for a coffee or treat.

The coffee and ice cream were good! a little overpriced because I only got a 12oz coffee (mocha) and it was around $4.00, but you got a lot of Ice for the price! The problem was the customer service. The one girl who served us our coffee on 7/14 rolled her eyes when we said we had separate orders even though there was no one behind us. She was also rude to us when we had a hard time pulling up to the window. She also gave us dirty looks when we were ordering. She overcharged one of us $8.00 for the ice cream that should have been $4.00 and we had to point it out. After we received our coffees and ice cream she slammed the window shut without saying anything. The girl who gave us our ice cream however, was very accommodating and friendly. Although the food was good I’m not sure we would come back because of this.

Went here for my morning coffee, and I absolutely LOVED it! They have lots of great coffee drinks and teas. My favorite part is they have milk alternatives that you can add to any drink!Also the breakfast sandwich is AMAZING!!10/10 recommend!

I stopped by after a 2 hour drive to Wisconsin for my 4 month old baby's dr. Appointment. Before I was getting food I had to change her diaper because she was screaming. When I finished I put the diaper in the trash can and went back to grab my baby out of the car. The Karen that works there ran out and screamed at me telling me that it wasn't a public trashcan. I told her I was sorry I had a screaming baby I needed to change and she told me I wasn't welcome back. I told her no problem I didn't plan on coming back. I can't believe how ridiculous she acted, she was going to have a customer but she lost it. I don't understand how someone could have such an attitude about a piece of trash thrown in an outside trashcan to help a crying baby.

Pretty good food, my only complaint is lack of trash bins. If your fixing for a smoothie on a hot summer day. Its a killer place, just be sure to bring an extra baggie for the garbage.

The coffee was delicious and the price was great. This is the only place I can get a good coffee and Chicago style hot dog at the same time. You can’t beat it!

Decent prices and menu options unless you want a proper Chicago dog. They come close, and they are good hotdogs, but they're a little off from being proper. Very poor management. You cannot get ahold of the sole manager/owner by calling, she does not work at the business location, she does her only work at home. You might get a return call if you leave a message. If you have a complaint, your best bet is to see if the employee(s) on duty have a solution for you.

We always stop for coffee for us mom's & grab the kiddo's a snack as well. They love the campfires s'mores flavor. As well as the duck muffins.Kid-friendliness: They have options for kids such as the ice cream, muffins, teas, ect.

This was our 3rd time trying this coffee. The iced coffee drinks with cute names are so underwhelming. It tasted like coffee with a teeny tiny hint of flavor. The service was rude this time. We ordered 2 drinks she misunderstood and thought we ordered 3 when we said no just 2 she got an attitude and didn't offer our change. We drove off then relized we over paid for that 3rd drink we didn't want. After our appointment we came back and got our change. Everything got resolved but we won't be going back.

Big town flavor in a small town! Bullwinkles has delicious coffee, good muffins and ice cream and their breakfast sandwich is a must try. They also have good tasting large hotdogs with the works, cheesecake on a stick, and chocolate covered coffee beans all in a convenient drive thru hut. The staff is usually pretty friendly and the owner bakes all muffins each day! There are always different seasonal beverage flavors and they have many other beverage recipes to try from. Their prices beat that of a lot of the big town and chain coffee shops as well. Two of my favorites- Pumpkin Chai either hot, iced, or blended, and the Cinnamon Roll Latte. Try both topped with their homemade whipped cream- delicious!

It's a cool little unexpected place, good Chicago style hotdogs, (just needs poppyseed buns and celery salt and a cucumber wedge) other than that, spot on! Coffee was excellent 👌. I'd definitely stop again.

Quick, convenient, tasty. Went back the next day and was left with the same result. Highly recommend. Hot apple cider is very good. So are a few of the lattes I've tried so far.
