I've had breakfast, and dinner here with my friend several times for a week. This is one of my favorite places between Boscobel and Atlanta Georgia. Excellent food, and a hometown feel that can't be made another way. I am going to be thinking about this place from time to time for the rest of my life. Thanks for what you do folks!

Stopped during the week,around noon,half full..had to wait 7 minutes to get ourmenus..waitress must gf known everyone in the building because I think she talked to everyone in there before asking if we were ready to order,cold gravey,never did get our drinks after her walking by said oh I’ll grab your drinks twice she was tobusy talking…the service has sure went down hill since we were there last…they say diner61 is a good place.

I recently visited Unique Cafe with a couple of friends. When they asked if I had ever been there before, I initially said no. However, as I settled in, I realized that I had actually been there previously, although it had undergone some changes since my last visit.One noticeable change was the brighter and more open atmosphere, which was a pleasant surprise compared to my previous experience.Despite my initial desire for burgers, we arrived early in the morning, and this restaurant was serving only breakfast. To my surprise, the breakfast options turned out to be exceptional.What truly stood out was the excellent service. I had a few questions, and the staff answered them without hesitation, enhancing our overall dning experience.

Great and friendly place to stop and eat. We found out about this place through a friend, we wish we had another hour to kill to keep talking with everyone there. We will definitely be riding there again.

I cycled into town and stumbled across this cornerstone cafe. By luck, I met some incredible folks in the diner and had the best plate of biscuits and gravy in my life.This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to come back when I am in the area again!

Best biscuits and gravy in the Driftless. My goodness, it's like burnt ends have a cousin in Wisco and they are bringing it for breakfast. You gotta do this folks, it's absolutely unbeatable.

First time to this diner. We had no idea it had a new owner. We wanted to see all the antique signs-oh well.The food was great until I found a hair in my French Toast. ( not mine) and then I found another in the bottom of my coffee cup ( not mine). Let’s just say-I feel really nauseous right now 🤢

I had hash browns crispy with onions and order of biscuits & gravy delicious as always Carry out very kind of Izzy to bring the order out to me as I have poor ambulatory skills not a long wait as it was a Sunday and crowdedParking: The Unique has 1 handicap parking spot wish there was more as Boscobel has a number of residents who have mobility issues myself for oneWheelchair accessibility: It does have a ramp it is easy to navigate thank you

Staff ignored me when I walked through the door. She waited at least 10 minutes before she even acknowledged me, ONLY after she looked past me one to many times, I asked her could I seat myself . She greeted all the other patrons as they came the door, asking them where would they like to be seated. It was a group standing before where she cleaned a table for them to dine and she seated. NEVER did anyone ever come clean my table I cleaned it with the glass of water brought out by another staff member with the napkins on the table. All the tables that were empty were unclear and unclean. I have been sick ever since I ate at this establishment.😡😡I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Although busy at first than crown dying down we waited over an hour for our food. Dishes were dirty. One waitress was busting her tush while others just stood around. Second time in three years we've been here. Safe to say why. However we will never be back after that either.

This is a main place of eating on my week long family reunion. We come here most mornings and we are always satisfied with our service. We are looked after and made sure all of our needs are met. Never let down each visit. All the dishes I have tried I have always been pleased with. Good options for Vegetarians and Meat eaters.
