While I really like this place, and yes I know that most of the products sold are either very close to expiring or are past expiration (which expiration is an odd thing, best buy dates aren't truly expiration dates but a manufacturer recommended usage date) the majority is non perishable. The cleaning products are excellent in price simply due to a container that doesn't look good on a commercial store's shelf.The biggest issue I noticed when shopping here recently was in the box mix and flour isle or on aisles where there are foods that are prone to infestation of the pantry moth.There were pantry moths crawling on the shelves behind prone to contamination products, which would indicate that they are present in at least some of the products on the shelves.Those little critters once established in your house are incredibly difficult to eradicate, unfortunately I know this from previous experience and can tell you that it took a little over a year to fully eradicate them with use of pheromone traps, and plenty of scrubbing and the tossing out of any foods that were or were prone to contamination by these invasive pests. Pesticides were out of the question due to the pets in the homeSo please if you must purchase any of the products that are prone to contamination by the pantry moth, flour, box mixes, cereal, nuts, etc. please examine the product carefully or better yet, avoid these items as I did.They have plenty of other very good products that you won't have to worry about contamination with so avoiding those products isn't that big of a deal and you are still able to save money especially in this economy

Extremely clean and organized salvage grocery store! As with all discount/salvage stores, know that items may be past sell dates but still edible/useable, and the amount and selection of what’s in stock always varies. That’s the thrill of the hunt, plus, the prices are awesome!!

Highly, highly recommend to any person looking for sweet deals with a side effect of environmental friendliness! The folks here are always really kind and fun to talk to, and they restock the shelves often, even with customers around. Even after years of frequenting here, the prices still amaze me. I'm saying up to ~90% off or more just because the package is dented or the label is upside down. If you don't mind minor exterior damages, you could probably get almost all of your pantry items for ridiculously low prices. Check it out a couple times, because the inventory changes- anything from baby food to batteries, taco shells to sauces, pet supplies to makeup- I cannot recommend it enough, this store gives you the chance to use perfectly good items for a fraction of what it would on corporate shelves. And bonus, you get to save these items from a trash heap even though it's good product. I love this place, and I wish there were dozens more in other parts of the state 🤩

Unbelievable prices and great name brand items. One example are Lindt chocolate bars, $1.25 each! Protein bars ( Cliff Bars, One bars) .25 each! Olly vitamins for $1.50!! Taki beef sticks .40 each!!They also have custom mixed plant fertilizer!! What an awesome place! Nice people too! This place is a must see!!THANK YOU!!

Best place ever! We go at lest once a month. They have such a huge selection of organic and major name brand foods! The beauty products are also all major name brands. The prices will knock your socks off! Always clean, staff is always friendly! We had fresh donuts a few weekends ago that were so yummy. Its worth the trip! Some out dated or close to outdated products (many that are still good!) but the majority is more dent and bent. Love it here!

Mostly expired or dented foods sold for liquidation. Large selection of candy, canned and boxed foods, snack bars and drinks. Prices are usually uniform and usually half to 1/3 off of retail-sometimes more. Lots of premium brands that must not sell quickly on store shelves. Amish owned and run. Fast and efficient stockers and checkers.

Love shopping here! Great deals and helpful staff! <-- that's what I wrote 3 yrs ago.Since then, my hubby has been stopping here bi-weekly for health/granola bars, candy bars, and gum deals, sometimes cereal. I'm always going for the canned tomatoes and fruit and whatever else catches my eye. They had some Betty Crocker cookie mixes we stocked up on too. You never know what deals you'll find.

I used to stop by this store every now and then when I was in the area. While nearby for an extended stay, I’ve been in several times a week. There is a constant stock of new items. Tons of usually expensive items can be found typically half price or even less! I’ve basically found everything I need and everything I didn’t know I need here. I totally love this store.

My family loves stopping by Da Ess-Sach Blatz! The staff are always so friendly. My daughter especially likes seeing what little toy treasures she will find. On our last visit she found a Cabbage Patch doll and was tickled pink.

I love this store! I buy tons of Kashi and other name brand cereal boxes at a deep discount compared to other stores, and the even though the boxes are dented, the food inside always tastes great. Great variety of products, and I love the layout of the store - it is very open and the aisles are wide. They also accept credit cards in case you don't have cash.

This place is great!! The people are absolutely wonderful. I found a dog food there that was the only one my dog would eat as a fussy senior. I bought as much of it as I could, and they were kind enough to hang onto the rest until I could pick it up! Above and beyond customer service! Great deals on everything, canned goods, sparkling water, cosmetics, hair care.... it’s a long list. Definately worth the trip. I try to get there every week to see what’s new. While it may be off the beaten path this bent and dent style grocery store offers great variety at amazing prices. This has become my go to grocery store for anything non perishable. The product is always changing so if you see it buy it. The owners and their families are very friendly and recognize their regular customers. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a store that offers friendly service ad well as good prices.

Great place to get discounted groceries. I suppose a person could get all of the dry/canned goods that they need but my wife is partial to certain brands. I will shop here about once every month and leave with all that a large banana box can hold for $20-$30.No produce or anything refrigerated.

Good prices on non-perishable food items and some cleaning/paper products. I purchased a couple items; but the majority of food/OTC were far past the expiration date (not the worst thing in the world; but something to watch for/something I wished the store was more upfront about).
