Nice older store has quite the selection. Love the double smoked bacon, and it is amazing. Also, all the smoked meats are great. Everything is priced decent. Very friendly staff.Whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I stop by here and check out the specials.I was really disappointed when I visited the store recently. I was going to buy some bird food cakes. When I noticed Maggots falling out of one of the packages. By the time I was done shopping, I was told everything was cleaned up. So, as I was going to grab another pack, I still noticed maggots. I asked about it and was told everything was cleaned.

I have worked across most of the US as a merchandiser, and I have never come across people like I have at Shadick's. Kind, helpful, laid back and more than friendly! The store is amazing, the staff is amazing. Very clean, easy to work around, ease of finding products. Pat, your staff is wonderful!!! Thank you to each of you at Shadick's!!

Great local grocery store, always clean & very friendly staff. Also for a smaller store they have a nice variety! I didn't give it 5 starts cause I feel some prices are high even in these times.

An enjoyable shopping experience overall. The employees seem much more friendly during the morning and afternoon hours while much (not all) of the younger staff at night could learn a thing or two.They could do a better job with their produce prices. I dislike having to pay the same price (here or anywhere) for the same produce that was there days ago when it's not any more fresher over time. More stores need to better reduce prices on produce as time goes by just to be fair to consumers.I'm pleased... Thank You!

Romaine has been $6.99 at Shadick's for a couple months. I went to Woodman's in Eau Claire yesterday and got Romaine for $2.99. I realize Shadick's doesn't have the buying power of Woodman's-but does that equate to prices more than double? In June this year, Romaine was $2.50 at Woodman's, and $3.69 at Shadick's, "only" $1.19 more, so WHY is it $4 more now?!

The best grocery store that I've been to since moving to Wisconsin. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful. Great selection of fresh produce, and they've always got their shelves stocked. Thank you to all the employees, you're absolutely awesome.

We stopped by the Bloomer store for some additional groceries before long lake. Great experience! Everyone wearing masks (emoloyees and customes) and the staff was wiping down all of the carts. Kudos to the staff!!! Keep up the good work.

First off prices are ridiculous high! and second off bought 2 NY strip steaks took home put in fridge and were completely brown less than 24hrs after purchase!! Not happy at all will never be back here again

I am from out of town. But when I stop in. Always love shopping at your store. Worked at a grocery store myself. It's set up nice. Great variety of things. Most of all. The employees are always helpful and polite.

I come from Holcombe to shop here. always have what Im looking for. the deli dept, meats, fresh produce & fruit all have good selections & variety. the liquor dept also has a very good variety incld top-shelf & stuff made in WI. couldnt give all star rating because selection of coffee, tea & pet food is so-so. very limited choices of dog/cat food especially bags weighing over 15lbs. But over-all I like shopping here. prices are average I think, but lower than Cornell's grocery store which is a huge plus.

If you need something in a hurry and don't feel like driving 15-20 minutes to Walmart or Gordys they are fine. They are a bit expensive cause they have no competition in town. They have an amazing meat sale every couple of months you can get a bargain buying a bulk of different items.

Whenever I buy fresh veggies or fruit, there's always rotten spots and I end up throwing it away. Not impressed and no longer buy then here unless I need something right away, and I look them over very closely. Not impressed.
