I met a dog a while ago that was one of the best trained dogs I’ve ever seen. Calm, patient, but still so full with personality. This dog was trained at In Touch by Allen. Because of this dog, we chose to take our 8 month old puppy to In Touch. As a military family always on the move, we wanted to have the confidence that our dog would be well trained for our upcoming move out of the continental United States. Our dog is extremely energetic and spunky, but had a bad recall and was a little stubborn at picking up basic commands. When I first met with Allen he showed me in depth all of his training methods. He let me feel the ecollar and what my dog would feel before putting it on her. ECollars - when used correctly - are EXCELLENT training tools and NOT harmful to the dogs. It’s like a tap on the shoulder, not a “shock”. I repeat - the methods Allen used are kind, loving, and not harmful to the dogs in any way. The Ecollar is not intended to be a forever thing, but really just training wheels to help and there as a safety net. He let me see how my dog responded and immediately she started to listen. I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with Allen and his team and after the two week training he even drove her all the way home over an hour away. He offers unlimited follow up sessions and will even meet you in public dog friendly places to help continue your dog’s training.My puppy is only 10 months old now but is so good that she already gets to enjoy so many freedoms that other dogs don’t. I can take her almost anywhere with me and I know she will be good with all other people and dogs. She is good off leash, in the kennel, and the car. I am so impressed by her progress. The best part is that her personality is the same as when we first got her. She is just the happiest puppy in the world. 10/10 would recommend Allen and In Touch!

It’s been only 2 days since Hershey has been home and we already see a huge difference.Hershey is a great dog but had been show very little discipline and is very spoiled.We wanted to have him learn how to wait when someone comes to the door and knocks or rings the doorbell. He now sits in his assigned place. We are are practicing Allan’s training and directions.Hershey so far has also is following “come” “sit” and “free”. We know we have to be consistent with our due diligence and practicing frequently throughout the day.Our next goal is to take him on walks. It is a great program and I encourage anyone who wants a well behaved dog to try In Touch Training.Thanks Allen

We needed help with some behavioral issues with a one year old German shepherd and a six year old pitbull and Allen was not only able to get them both paying attention but actually controllable. Working with Allen and following up with training sessions after the initial boarding and training program has helped both dogs to listen to both my husband and I, rather than the German Shepard only to my husband and the pitbull to me. As far as real world training, our dogs are now able to go with us when I am travel nursing without the worry that they will bolt and get hurt or lost. They have been excited to see Allen every time we return for a session and love running the field with his dogs. Allen has gone above and beyond for us and our babies.

Allen is a true professional. From training to nutrition, he has been there to answer any question we have had related to our pups. He even helped advise us on the the type of breed that would fit our family’s needs when we were in search of adding on to our family. We have sent both of our dogs to In Touch and have had great experiences each time. Allen is very up front and correct when he says that owner training and follow through are essential in making sure the training is successful. Upon return, we were trained on the commands that were taught and how to use the device to its capability. Even though or pups were returned we always know Allen is only a phone call away if we need any reminders. Thank you for taking care of our babies and taking the stress out of training our dogs.

My experience with In Touch dog training and rehabilitation has been more than satisfactory. They have helped my dog, Luna in more ways that one. Not only have I had the training experience with Luna, but I’ve also recently boarded Luna at In Touch for a long period of time and they were great with her. She loves the social time she gets when with them! Lunas behavior and training improved tremendously. Luna was a super high strung dog and with their help she now knows the difference between play time and when it’s time to settle down and relax. I would definitely recommend this training facility to anyone who asks me. Everybody is extremely nice and helpful with anything I need!

I signed my two dogs, a Vizla (Luna) and a golden (Lucy), up for the 3 week puppy program and have been really happy with the results. Our puppy Luna was incredibly disobedient from the get go. We could NEVER let her off the leash before training because she had literally zero recall. Now we hardly use a leash because she has instant recall and listens to every command. She went from being a sassy stubborn pup to an incredibly well behaved dog. Allen even said she was one of the hardest pups he had trained so we were concerned at first. But literally by the second day of her being home we knew she was a completely different dog (but just as loving and sweet). So so grateful for his work with her.Lucy was a little different story. I want it to be known that there is homework on your end and your dog won’t necessarily come home perfectly trained like Luna. I won’t lie in saying we were a little underwhelmed with Lucy’s training. It felt like we were doing a lot more work than we hoped to after three weeks of training. But every dog is different and a lot of it is probably an error on our part. That being said Allen is always so willing to help and make visits or have us come visit for any necessary follow up training (for us and the dogs haha) and he’s also willing to take our pups in for further training if necessary.Thank you so much Allen for your continued support!

We adopted our Bella over a year ago and brought her into our home with our other dog in it. Things were a little rough, they were fighting and Bella was peeing on our floors. We had some major dominance issues. Allen was able to get them to listen within minutes! Bella was sitting and staying, and that was incredible! Our dogs now listen to us, no more running off, they stay in our yard. Bella is getting along with our other dog and doesn't go into attack mode when she sees other dogs!

The training that our dog has received has been wonderful. Our dog is listening so much better at home. We appreciate that Allen explains everything completely and offers opportunities to reinforce what we have learned. I highly recommend the training. When I sent Odin to In Touch he had an issue with pulling, stealing food off my husbands' plate, and just all around listening. Since the training, his pulling is way less. He still pulls because he is a dog and he's curious. When we eat supper, he will lay down and not take food off my husband's plate. If he gets to close all I have to say is sit and he will sit. He listens way better than he did before training. He also will get into the car with no issue with the right commands. Odin is night and day. I am happy with the results that I have gotten from In Touch. Also being able to have follow-up training anywhere I feel it might be needed. Landon is great with Odin. The rest of the staff is great with dogs that are in their care. They also make sure that you know how your dog is doing. I asked for videos and pictures of Odin and got them. I would send any other dogs I get to them. I will also send anyone I know with dogs that have issues to them.

Absolutely amazing. Prior to owning her, my dog had been abused and was not house broken at a year and a half. She did not have the ability to be around other dogs or people for that matter. She came back a DIFFERENT DOG!!! Allen is absolutely the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever worked with, very patient. Also for everyone out there, training collars (shock collars or whatever you want to call them) when used properly, are NOT abusive to your dog. Get your facts straight. Would highly recommend. I have the happiest dog on the planet and she absolutely adores the staff at In Touch!

100% Recommend. I sent my Golden Retriever (1 Years Old) & Yellow Lab (8 Months). Everyone was great to work with and very knowledgeable. Both Mac & Emma have seen great progress. I am able to run with them off leash, have people over and keep them in Place, and overall just have a better deeper bond with both my young pups. I may be bias but they are the most well behaved 1 year olds I’ve seen. Thank you!! Well worth the money.

I had been training my GSD on day 1 that we brought him home as a 9 week old puppy. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with some of his behaviors and was looking for help with him from an experienced trainer. I found In Touch Dog Training - We signed our now 13 month old, to the 14 day immerse program. When we got Duke back home, we were very much impressed at how much more calm and obedient he was - So much more confident and just seem to have matured in that short time he was away. Allen was great to work with - very open to answer any questions we had concerning Duke. Allen gave us the tools to continue to work with Duke. Still needing work with his timidness with other dogs, but hopefully that will come with time as well. In-touch training set up is a very clean and well organized place to keep your dog safe while staying there for their training - Very impressive! Thank you Allen !!

100% recommend! We are sincerely grateful for everything In Touch has done and continues to do!We rescued a German Shepherd, Simba, who is now 2. Simba is incredibly smart and well behaved, but he always had some issues with fear aggression around strangers and we were working on that, however Simba took it to a new level this past Spring and bit our neighbor. We were completely gutted and did not know what to do. So many people told us to surrender him back to the rescue, but we knew that he would never be rehomed and most likely be euthanized. There was no way we could let that happen. After endless researching we felt like In Touch would be the best fit for our situation. We were not disappointed with our decision! Simba was enrolled in the 24-day immersion program. After the 24 days Allen and Landon wanted to extend his stay one more week to work with him a bit longer. They did this without charging us any extra. To us that just proved something we already knew, everyone there really cares about the well being of our dog.It has been 6 weeks since Simba was returned to us. This is our takeaway. Simba is leaps and bounds a better dog! In Touch laid down a solid foundation and now it is up to us to keep building on that. Now, with Simba’s obedience and newfound confidence, we are all living in a calmer state. He will need continued training for him to keep advancing but he is a million times better already. In Touch provides free weekly classes and social Saturdays for anyone that had their dog trained there. These classes are phenomenal and every time I attend, I learn so much and Simba continues to make progress. We take a 2 hour round trip drive to attend these classes, that’s how beneficial they are!A huge thank you to Allen, Landon and Morgan! You took in our boy with open arms and continue to support us! We will be forever grateful!

Allen is a master of his craft. He can communicate with dogs very well. He understands what a dog needs to improve its mental state. You will be hard pressed to find a dog trainer and behaviorist that is as compassionate and effective as Allen and In Touch Dog Training.

At two years of age, Luke had developed behaviors that made us doubt we would be able to safely keep, much less enjoy, his companionship. After just two weeks at In Touch Dog Training his demeanor has improved dramatically. He seems like a new dog! He is calm now – still with a warm and cuddly personality – but now able to be directed and redirected both safely and quickly. He used to spend the majority of his day in a kennel because he was so unruly and required constant one-on-one supervision if out. Now he can be trusted to stay in close proximity to my husband, who works from home, and follow instructions to come, sit and return to his ‘place’. The training we (Luke’s people) have received has also been invaluable. Luke is happier, we are happier, and we have been given the tools to continue progressing. I have a fear reactive German Shepherd, he's been attacked by the same dog at least 4 times and became fearful of dogs and new people. Allen was able to show me what was needed as a dog owner and how to properly help my dog become confident in situations he is unsure about. Allen helped my boyfriend and I understand life through our dogs point of view. This has been a great experience for our situation and would recommend the training.

I finally made the time and financial commitment in November 2018 to work on my 5 year old rescue, Lexi, on her issues with socializing with other dogs. In the past, Lexi had some negative interactions with other dogs on leash or at the dog park and I kept her away from other dogs because I was afraid of her reactions and didn't have the confidence to trust myself to be the leader or trust Lexi to be a dog. After having Lexi go through the 2 week training, and participating with Socialization Saturdays and private classes, I've seen Lexi and myself gain more confidence. Every Socialization Saturday we attend becomes a release of nervous energy where dogs can be dogs, and humans are the leader of the pack. Allen and his team, really want your dog to succeed, if the owners really take the step to put in the time and work. I fully recommend In Touch Training to the dog owners who want their dogs to be trained by professionals who've seen all types of dog personalities and have an opportunity to watch their dog run in an open field and just be a DOG! Just like anything in life: no pain, no gain. Whether that is financial pain, physical pain, or emotional pain, there is growth when you push yourself outside of the comfortable. If you doubt yourself as a dog owner or have dog that doubts itself, In Touch Dog Training & Rehabilitation educate dog owners and teach you how to have a positive relationship with their dog. We had a great time working with In touch dog training! We took our 6 month Rottie out to work on basic commands and impulse control and she’s been phenomenal ever since! Great and professional training. They work with you as the owner posh training to teach you how to maintain training at home, but are always available for refresher training or added suggestions if any new issues arise. Their facility is perfect for any dog, with lots of play time, socialization, safety measures, and so much love from the staff and head trainer.

After a year of trying to teach our puppy, Kato, on our own, we knew we needed more help. After seeing results from a family member with their dog, we reached out to Allen at In Touch Dog Training. We decided to do the 10 day immersion program, and Kato truly returned a different dog. He can now be called to us on demand when he would usually ignore us completely. The result of the training Allen and InTouch Training did with our 1 1/2 yr old German Shepherd way exceeded our expectations. The only regret we have was not bringing our last dog to him vs the 4 other trainers we did bring her to. The very next day after her training was complete we could walk her in public - even right through crowds without a leash, and as loony as it sounds, we could tell she was overall just a happier dog.As for the experience, he explained the training start to finish, showed us how to continue the training with her at home and even gave us ideas and ways how to make it slip right into our day to day lives. My only regret isn't finding them sooner. IT WAS THE BEST MONEY WEVE EVER SPENT on any of our dogs. We can say enough.

I am a little biased since I am related to the owners, but I can also state with certainty that they have years and years of experience and continually work hard to learn and master their craft. This is evidenced by the fact they can take almost any dog from any situation and train the dog. Also, Allen's dog, flash is the official "Bat Dog" for the Green Bay Boo Yah baseball team, which is about the coolest thing I've ever seen at a ball game!

We cannot day enough about In Touch Dog Training. We brought our black lab Apollo here. It is amazing the difference we can see in his behavior, yet he is still our fun loving boy! In-Touch is an incredible dog training facility!! I brought my 5 1/2 month American bulldog to the facility for three weeks.In-touch trained him in a way that I could’ve never done on my own. This is my third American bulldog and he is trained like my four and five-year-old bulldogs were, at his age and his breed that is very impressive.My dog also loved it there. We couldn’t be happier with the changes in our 3.5 year old Great Dane. Stevie was very leash aggressive with other dogs and would growl or bark at people when they approached her. She was great at the dog park and doggie daycare, but when she growled and lunged at a neighbors child that was it! Stevie went through the 2 week training and came back with new tools we could use so we could enjoy the lovable dog she truly is. I will say that this is Not just a quick fix and we as owners do not have to do our part. OUR follow through is a must! My husband definitely has a harder time with this and it is apparent because Stevie listens to me for general commands in the house way better than she does with him. I would not go without the collar when she is on the leash and can see that the protocol outlined in the reading we received need to be followed for the recommended time in order for Stevie to fully learn to listen for continued success.Allen was great to work with. He explained everything clearly and honestly. I loved that our reunion with Stevie was at our house and the ability to have the follow up sessions as needed.

Allen has worked both of our dogs and has helped us so much. Our youngest one is a little high strung and he worked with her and us on how to get her to listen to commands better. I always tell people that one command in particular, come (repeated 3 times), I’m sure this saved her life when she was still a puppy. While approaching a busy intersection she was able to slip out of her harness while on a leash and started running toward the road which was very busy, when I called her as she approached the street I used the command as Allen taught me…she turned around immediately and came back, I know without the training she would have just ran into the intersection.Allen's knowledge of K9 behavior and training is extensive. I would highly recommend Allen, Alethea and In Touch Dog Training for your dog training.
