I was so excited to see that they finally reopened I went there often before they mysteriously closed. I went in and it was busy but not overwhelming. Was seated (told to sit where I wanted) right away and offered a menu and drink immediately, Diet coke 20oz. I knew what I wanted as their broasted chicken was always great. I got my salad and waited the extra time for the chicken, although 28 minutes was longer than I normally wait but, it was busy. I received my food and thought the chicken looked a bit darker than I remember but went about eating the dinner. Well the chicken was definately over done but I also I didnt want to wait another 25+minutes to get more. All of the other elements of the dinner were good. I absolutely think the wait person should have noticed the problem before delivering the order but they didnt. SMH. Well I ate the meal and was done and waited another 12 minutes to get my bill, eh not a huge issue but here is where I am a bit unhappy. They charge, as many do, to use plastic to pay. .43 cents on the total of 14.29. yeah wish I had known I would pay $3.00 for the diet Pepsi, should have gotten water, that's beside the point. The bottom line of the bill is they also charged sales tax on the credit card fee. How does a place charge sales tax on a punitive fee. One of my favorite restaurants is no longer on the goto list....Also the whole staff has been replaced it seems. Too bad, I used to like Trucks Place. not any more

Friendly staff. We were able to be seated right away. Food was ok. Didn't care for the cheese on the "best bacon cheeseburger in the city". Seasoned fries were tasty. I would like to return to try their breakfast options.

Awesome place for breakfast. I live 70 miles away. And would probably drive back there just for breakfast. I would imagine their lunch is just as great. Great service too, large portions, super value.

Both had sandwiches. Excellent. small place and maybe looks a little deceiving from the outside but service and food were really good! They also carry about a dozen locally made pies.

Fantastic food and service! Had the Mexican skillet and hubs had the meat lovers omelet. Highly recommend the breakfast at Trucks! If you choose pancakes instead of toast- you will get 2 fluffy buttermilk pancakes and they are almost a meal themselves!

There was six of us for breakfast. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. We got there just before a rush came in, but we observed that our waitress was handling things quite well and responding as quickly as possible to take care of all of us and the rest of her customers. The food was really good and it was a perfect ending to a perfect weekend for all of us.

Absolutely love coming here. We've been here 3 times in the past month on different days of the week. Each time it's been fantastic. They have regular specials scheduled for each day of the week. So far every item any of us tried has been excellent.Customer service has been very good also. Sometimes it's very busy and seating is quite limited but we've been lucky and always got a table right away no wait.Friday fish fry is a busy day/time but so worth it!!Breakfast sandwiches are great too. This has become our new local favorite restaurant.

The addition of their Antigo location and some menu changes have improved my satisfaction .The new Bourbon Chicken Stir Fry is awesome!I've always been happy with the food and never went away hungry.

My steak and eggs breakfast was perfect! This was just the kind of place I was looking for, and they nailed it. The staff was really nice, food came out quickly, and everything was more than reasonably priced. If I lived in the area I would eat here at least every week.Oh, and I'm pretty sure they make their own orange juice.

Stopped for dinner after the Birnamwood Polka days event. Was immediately greeted and seated with a smile! Brought ice water, coffee and menus. Such a wonderful, plentiful, and tasty dinner served with homemade bread! The host and waiter was so attentive and friendly! Topped off dinner with a wonderful Dutch apple pie…the best I have ever had! This was my first time here and it won’t be my last. Bravo! 😊

Zero Stars really. Stopped in on our way home from up north. Waitress was very rude when we asked if we sit anywhere or need to be seated. Best thing about this place was bus boy. Served us our water and Chocolate milk very quickly. Then we sat there for 15 minutes and a waitress never showed up at our table. Place was filthy and gross. Will never go there again.

I’ve seen complaints on here about how the place isn’t overly clean and the bathrooms aren’t great, which I understand, but you have to expect that from a place that’s branded as a truck stop. We’ve been stopping here every year on our way up to the north woods and we love it. It has been a long-standing tradition for us. The portions are huge, prices are very fair, and the service is quality. You will not leave hungry!

As you drive north on 45, heading towards Antigo, WI you come along this quaint restaurant. The decor was typical if a small town restaurant so when I was served watery coffee, I wasn't too surprised or had my hopes up for quality tasting food. After waiting awhile to be served, our food finally arrived! My avocado bacon skillet was well worth the long wait and sipping of weak coffee. If you find yourself hungry and near by, Truck's Place will leave your taste buds satisfied.

I always make an effort to support local small businesses and appreciate that Truck's Place exists in our tiny community, patronizing them at least a couple of times a month. That said, the quality of food is quite poor and has been declining over the last several years.Unless you are busy and out of local options, I genuinely cannot recommend eating here.Parking: Ample parking, easily accessible just off of highway 45.Kid-friendliness: A good family place, lots of menu items suitable for kids including all day breakfast options.

Food is pretty good, prices are fair. Loved our waitress, she was so nice! However, I simply can't give a good review to a "family restaurant" that doesn't even have a changing table in the bathroom. Was told to change them on the dining table. Disgusting! We pass through here a couple times a year, but won't be coming back until our kids are at least out of diapers...

I waited ten minutes to get a menu. The waitress saw me when she cleaned off a table for a 6 top and then spoke to me from across that table. Food was fine and that's why they get a third star. I ordered the special and it came pilled high with food. The plate was way too small for that amount of food and I was left using the only napkin given me as a second plate. Paying my bill also took to long so I left cash and the bill. That gave them a $7 tip on a $13 meal, but I was done waiting.

Some of the best food I've had in a while! Chicken Alfredo was the best! (Better than that ..... Garden Place) Great cheese cake also! Can't wait to go back soon! Also, with winter around the corner...they are on the snowmobile trail also! Don't pass this place up!

Nice little "home" feel diner with good quality diner food and average prices. Very quick service as well. Older clientele. No precautions taken for COVID though, I could see into the kitchen through the serving window and no cooks were wearing masks or gloves. Other than that, I think it'd be a great establishment during more "conventional" times.
