They are so nice and there when you need them. We had to have our 15.5yr old baby girl put to sleep they made sure we had all the information, answered all our questions & understood everything. They gave us time & privacy. We've been going here for years, we tried others closer to where we now live but ended up going back. Their staff is so nice. Thank you for making a hard decision a little easier.

Edit to reflect most recent visit - End of life is always so hard and painful. I called 730am on a Monday morning for our dog who suffered a medical issue overnight. They got him in within a few hours of our call. Their staff was very calm, patient, empathic and compassionate all the way through. My husband and I really appreciated the extra time they took to explain the process and time they let us have with our pup during his final minutes. We are so very grateful for all of this. Thank you all so much for your compassion and patience through such a difficult time.Original - Wonderful people from the front desk to the vets. They have cared for each and every pet I have had since I was young. The first time my dog and I met Dr Desiree, she came in and sat right on the floor with my dog, pet him and made him feel comfortable. She's the only vet who I've seen do that and it was great. Prices are very reasonable as well.

The vet was very nice and fine. But each time I've had to come in to bring samples and or pick up prescriptions the front desk have been lacking in friendliness. When I had to bring in a sample, the front desk woman looked at me like (what was I doing) like they had never seen somebody bring in a sample before. It made me feel very awkward.

I have been using them almost 12 years now and I can't remember a time that I was EVER upset about how they handled something. They have always taken great care of all our furbabies (7 in total)and when one has passed or been put down they were more than compassionate. We will never go anywhere else.

My puppy ran under my horse's feet at my birthday party and had her eye kicked out! The staff here not only saved her life but they were kind and loving to both my dog and the rest of the family. They were huge blessings and I'd recommend them to anyone!

I received a dog after the owner died. It was I take him or he goes to the human society. I thought I did the right thing. Too bad Birnamwood vet office doesn't have the same kind of heart!! I wanted to take him to the vet where he was familiar. They said they are not taking new patients. I replied he is not, he has been going there. They said well we will not take new pet owners. "Cold and heartless people" don't waste your time with a phone call.

Would look into another vet before coming back here. Pricing is ridiculous, they only carry two kinds of preventive. The older ladies are rude. I DO NOT recommend this facility.
