I asked a local where to eat breakfast/lunch in Birchwood. They said without a doubt, Birchwood Cafe. They said “don’t go anywhere else!”They were pretty spot on with their recommendation. Birchwood is a small town, but this little eatery makes you forget that.They have your usual breakfast/lunch staples, like eggs, pancakes, sandwiches and more.They have a nice seating section inside, with a diner counter. Plus they offer outside patio seating on those lovely WI weather days.Vegetarian options: Usual diner vegetarian options.Parking: Plenty of spaces to park up front or on a side streetKid-friendliness: Options for the whole family

OMG 🤤🤤🤤🤤😋. We came for a breakfast 🍳 and the food was delicious. The best was an egg Benedict with salmon. It was amazing. Even cook came to us to ask if everything was ok 👌🏻. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Ordered the Bubba's hash browns.Service was great very friendly and always with a smile. Food was ok what you would expect from a small town Cafe. Prices are low for portion size. My knock with the food was the sausage gravy which was flat/under seasoned and the over easy egg was broken and yolk was all but non existent. Sour dough toast was good and the hash browns were cooked perfectly.Would recommend a visit if you are in town.

This cafe was so accommodating for our 5 year old nephew. Brought out coloring and barrel of monkeys to keep him occupied. He drew out what he wanted before we left the cottage and they cooked everything to order, giant Mickey pancake included!

Breakfast here is amazing. We came back a second time and both times we had very friendly wait staff. Will continue to come back here when we are in the area.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and keep kids entertained while they wait while bringing them coloring sheets or a barrel of monkeys.

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast on Saturday morning, and both of us were so impressed with the breakfast. My husband had the Fisherman's special and I had the veggie specialty hash browns with a side of bacon, both were really delicious! It has been hit and miss with previous owners but if the current breakfast is anything to go by, it's back to being the tastiest breakfast place around- just like it used to be! Our waitress with the excellent eye makeup and dark hair was lovely too (I didn't get her name, sorry) very attentive and helpful. We will be back!

Fantastic breakfast. Huge menu so everyone gets what they want. Love the hash browns, which they claim are “almost world famous” — but I know for certain they actually are famously talked about by my friends in England.Can’t go wrong with the omelettes, the biscuits & gravy, the skillets, or if you have a sweet tooth, the French toast or pancakes.Service is great/friendly. It was always nice to have Sarah as our server.Birchwood Cafe is always a treat.

First time ever stopping in here as I'm from out of town. Went with the BLT and Biscuits and Gravy, they were so delicious I couldn't leave without dessert. Got a HUGE strawberry malt!! Was so good I had to take something home the All American, a burger with fries.As for the atmosphere and service, exactly up my alley. Quick, friendly and down to earth.Even though it's quite a drive for me I will be back to bring some others to try it out. Special thanks to Tammy my waitress, she was perfect!!Wish you all the best there at The Birchwood Cafe.

Waited in line behind two other groups of people. Not once did anyone acknowledge the people waiting. There were plenty of open clean tables. As well as multiple waitresses. Eventually all three groups of us left the line after being in line for over 15 minutes with no one even acknowledging us. The best part is their sign says we will check the line periodically.

The bacon on two orders was completely burned and inedible. I mentioned it when I paid the bill and the server said “that’s the way we make it and we should have said something when we received our food”. I told her that no one came back to check if everything was all right. Basically I was told it was my problem! Not very customer friendly at all!
