I have a 9 yr old German Shepherd named Harley whos been in my family his entire life and means a great deal to all of us. Harley had been on a downward spiral and one day took a turn for the worse. I brought him in to see Dr Kniffin expecting to hear bad news. He treated him and sent me home with some antibiotics and special food for him. Within 2 days Harley was looking and feeling better than ever. I continued to run the course of antibiotics and harley is doing much better. I cant thank him enough. Dr Kniffin brought harley in on very short notice . He was very courteous, knowledgeable and knew right what to do. Very impressive. A++++++

Just met this vet and his lovely wife today when I took my cats in. I called, spoke to the actualvet himself and he said I could come right in. Mind you, this was just a first visit for new cats. He took such great care of my cats and explained everything to me. I left feeling that my cats would be healthier and happier over their lives. I would definitely return here for any animal issue I have.

went here for an estimate on mass removal and they built an estimate that did not even address the specific mass in question but instead a more innocuous one on his leg. i let this issue sit around for awhile but other people deserve to know that these people will not listen to you and will come up with their own profit based scheme for helping your pet.

Great service. Flexible scheduling. Dr is super friendly, helpful, and courteous. We have never been treated so nicely by any other vet. There is no other place we'll be taking our pets as long as we live in Dane county.

If I could give him sixteen stars I would. Dr. K was referred to us when I had a puppy fall very, very ill quite suddenly. It turned out that dog had a genetic issue and had to be euthanized, which was heartbreaking and just horrible. He handled the whole thing (me crying like crazy in his office) with such compassion and gentleness. I've been a loyal client for about 20 years, ever since then. You won't find a nicer, funnier, better vet anywhere. His prices are very reasonable too. He has fit me in at the last minute, tolerated my being late when I moved and lived about 45 minutes away, and given our rescue group (WWR) a nice discount when i brought in bad shape rescues. In exchange I feel like I made a friend. Ask him about his brilliant kids :)
