Disappointing Experience at Dairy Queen in Beaver DamI recently visited the Dairy Queen in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a Blizzard of cheesecake, but I was given a completely different product instead. When I brought the mistake to the attention of the staff, I expected them to rectify the situation by exchanging it for the correct item. However, to my surprise, I was told that I had to pay for the product again in order to obtain what I had initially ordered. This was highly frustrating, as it meant that I ended up paying twice for the same item.The lack of willingness to resolve the mistake without additional charges was a letdown. As a customer, I believe that when an error is made on the part of the establishment, the responsibility should lie with them to correct it without any extra cost to the customer. It felt unfair and unjust to be asked to pay for their .I have always been a fan of Dairy Queen and have visited many of their branches before, but this particular experience has left me quite dissatisfied. I hope that the management takes note of this incident and takes steps to ensure that such mistakes are handled more efficiently in the future, without burdening the customers with unnecessary charges

Went to there tonight for a birthday treat and the manager is completely disrespectful. Manager got bent out of shape and shoved our food at us and was screaming obscenities due to us pay with 100 CASH. It's not our fault that you demand cash only and than at the window say nothing bigger than a 20$. I could not believe the level of disrespect over paying cash! I also called to place an order for a cake 3 days ago and never got a call back, good thing I placed the order at a different location. Definitely don't go back here, unbelievable!

Blizzards are the best. Drive through is moderate speed. There are tables for outside dining as well. Pricing is comparable to other ice cream locations in BD.

Horrible service. Waited 9 min in line to order. Had to call the store to notify him he had 2 people in line. 2 vehicles left. Eli was rude and disrespectful. He tried to explain they have other walk-up customers yet no one was there. He was rude to his employee right infront of us. All around horrible service.

We went thru drive thru.. we sat in the picinic table and was handing everything out , and noticed that we did not have a blizzard. Instead of sitting thru drive thru again I went to the window and told one of the worker that we didn’t get a blizzard, the manager was very very rude and disrespectful. He told me that he couldn’t Verify if we got it or not. I told the manager to come look at the table cuz we were sitting there. He then said that I am not allowed to tell them I didn’t get anything with out being my order back up to the window. The manger is very rude and I won’t EVER be back.

$5.00 SlushI am confounded. I decided to treat myself to a slush, stopped in at Dairy Queen ordered the large mango slush, and was shocked to hear it was $4.95 with tax. This reminds me of the $5 shake from Pulp Fiction. Truth be said, the slush was delicious, so I give them 5 stars for taste and 1 for value.

Employees are rude. Will never go back. Such a disappointment, nothing like any other DQ I’ve ever been to.Update: As much as I appreciate the response from the DQ Fan Relations Team, it doesn't make our experience with the 2 rude employees any better. Not sure why anyone would think we would go back again when there was no mention of a solution to the problem we had. I'm quite certain, this isn't the first time the 2 gentlemen were rude.

I ordered an ice cream cake for my Grandmother’s 101st Birthday Celebration. Everyone I talked to was so accommodating and pleasant from Manager, gal that took my order and cake decorator, Julie that took the time to discuss details/ options to make it extra special. The cake was beyond my expectations! Personalized, beautifully decorated and it was so yummy! Everyone was impressed! Thanks so much for making it so special and actually caring about the service and product and personal touches!

Seems to be going downhill. Lately the blizzards have been all/mostly ice cream and barely any of the add-ins.They recently updated their hours but it wasn’t updated online. it was disappointing to drive 30+ mins just to be told by an employee that they don’t open until 2:30pm! Yet the open sign was on, and since the employee was already there extremely early you’d think she could make our 2 simple drinks we needed…

Grew up going to this dq, for me it's odd seeing anything bigger. It was a treat in the evening after doing farm work on a hot summer day. Lines can be long, but understand they can be short staffed, and the lines move pretty fast if other customers don't change their order 15 times or know what they want right away . The lines aren't any longer than McDonald's or Culver's at their busy times. I usually get the manager during all my visits. Very friendly and fast service. Just the other night I was there, he saw I had my dog sitting next to me in my truck and he gave her a pup cup which she enjoyed with no complaints.

This is going to be the weirdest review ever! I was kind of having a bad day and I thought some DQ would cheer me up. There was an issue with my card after ordering and instead of just giving another form of payment I kind of went a little Karen on the owner. Anyways I’m sorry and here is my apology a five star review. Hopefully I am not banned for life as I do need those Dilly Bars!

What happened to this place? Really disappointing the blizzards have been poorly mixed with hardly any toppings/flavorings. Cups overflowing and handed to you spilling. This is saying nicely. Honestly, I'm too tired from the mess I cleaned up to really light this place up.

The manager is disrespectful and has terrible customer service. He was waving utensils in my face because I was trying to hand set down ice cream on my passenger. When I told him that was rude he slammed the window in my face. Will not be returning.

I always have a good experience at the Beaver Dam Dairy Queen. They have a drive-thru plus some outdoor seating. Please note that it's a Treat Only restaurant so they don't serve the full menu you see online. If you're looking for a meal, burgers or fries then this is not the place to go. I think they do serve hot dogs, but you'd have to call them and ask. They definitely do serve all the ice-cream treats, malts, shakes, smoothies, etc. and you can order ice cream cakes from them. Everything I've ever ordered here has been fresh and delicious! I have never had an issue with the service, they've always been fast, efficient and friendly.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had!!! And this is by the owner. Went there tonight to get some ice cream. When I got up to the window all I could hear was the owner standing there complaining about how I changed my order(while I was still ordering) so I said something to the cashier about how I can hear him and that it was very rude. All of a sudden he comes flying to the window telling me that I shouldn't be changing my order everything is on the board and that it is rude to people behind me(there was no one else there but me). As I was telling him he should not be talking to his customers like that he just stood there yelling over me. Unbelievable!! This is the second time I have dealt with this owner being extremely rude to me. Never going here again and I suggest you don't either!!!! Definitely not worth it!!!
