Their meat department is great. I don't get meat from anywhere else, with the only exception being sausage links from Brandon Meats. Their bakery department has declined over the years. Their donuts don't taste quite the same. I'm not sure if they changed their recipe or what, but their donuts have definitely gone down in quality a bit. Their bakery used to be great, but now the only things I get from them anymore is sheet cake and donuts from time to time. Their cookies are hard and nothing special. Shame because they used to be really good. The deli is fine, but it's kind of hard to mess up cold cuts. The kitchen is bad, I don't go there anymore. Their potato wedges used to be good, but now they're tasteless/bland/overcooked. Their chicken tenders taste like they just took a bunch of frozen Tyson chicken tenders and overlooked them. Everything else just tastes as bland as what you'd get from Walmart's kitchen. The rotisserie chicken is good, though it's the same as what you get from Walmart so I just go there as it's a lot cheaper.I have never been to the coffee shop that they added on. I'm not a coffee drinker, but that place always looks pretty much deserted. The staff are nice, they do keep the shelves pretty decently stocked, and they do a good job at stocking some things that Walmart doesn't. Big downfall is that with inflation their prices have risen a lot over the last few years. You can get a lot of things for a lot cheaper at Woodmans or Walmart.

The produce is not up to par. The prices are quite up there. Gatorade there costs over 9 dollars. It is 1 dollar less at its competitors and 2 dollars less at walmart. The ladies at the service desk are all wonderful. The man who helps out in the wine department maybe he's a manager is always very helpful. Would be good to teach their people how to bag properly but I also feel that way at their competitors. They do have helpful staff so that is a plus

I'm basically giving my review for the bakery! I've ordered 2 cakes from them in the last few months. Both turned out 500x better than I could have imagined. I gave them minimal instruction and gave them permission to do what they liked or what looked good. Both turned out so pretty and tasted great also. Definitely will be returning for furture cakes.

The produce is normally verging on going bad . And whoever prices the burbon in the liquor store marks it 50-100 % over msrp

Best grocery store in Beaver Dam. The brats are a must buy!! All of the employees are friendly and helpful. Caribou Coffee is located in the store as well. You need to get a drink before doing your shopping.

Exceptional quality in their Deli and Meats. The fresh brats and hamburgers here are delicious. The place is steady and regular flow of customers. Fruits and vegetables are FRESH and never disappoint. Definitely a go to place for groceries. Side note: great way to impress visiting family and in-laws. Just tell them you made the deli items.

I usually love this place. Friendly staff. Good customer service. My only complaint is the price of your donuts. They seem to go up every year but their size stays the same. They used to be 65 cents, then 75 cents (okay fine) but then went up to 85 cents and now 95 cents!! I used to buy them every week but not now sadly. Kwik Trip has 6 packs for 2.99. Your donuts are the best but those prices.....

Love coming here. This reminds me of many years vacationing on Fox Lake with our parents. We came to Rechek's sometimes, for groceries and bakery. My sister and I try to stop here anytime we're in the area. Fabulous hot food case, great deli, plenty of variety of Bakery. Their produce always looks fresh. It's just always kind of a nostalgic feeling, coming here. Hope it stays this way.

Great store, wonderful employee's, have been going there as far back as I can remember. My last visit was picking Thanksgiving dinner there, to host, family from out of town, everyone loved the food, would have added a picture but everyone at it all. A definite go to place, not just personally but also professionally.

Amazing bakery, especially the hardrolls. A very attentive young man named Justin assisted us with questions about the homemade brats. You have a quality employee in him who is most knowledgeable. Nice little store.

The bakery use to be the best with the doughnuts in town but now I can even buy them. They are not the same. I purchased some on my shopping trip once and when I got home to eat them they tasted like days old and they were from that area of the store.

Rechecks always has high quality meats and there bratwurst are excellent. If you see there bacon cheddar bratwurst pick some up they are great along with eggs for breakfast. And of course they are great for cookouts too. The store is always clean and the deli is always busy. There selection is good and on the weekends they brat Fry's supporting local organizations. Of you have not tried them you are missing a great grocery shopping experience. Did I mention they will bring your groceries to your vehicle and put them in your car.

Best grocery store in town for fresh meat and produce. Rechecks is for sure my grocery store of preference. Bonus? Besides onsite services such as money orders and postal stamps up front, they will order basically whatever you want if they're able. All you have to do is ask. Personally, I'm happy to pay a tiny bit more to support a small local business and receive such exemplary service!

Bakery, i paid $41.99 for a baby shower cake. Picked it up they couldn't spell arrival correctly. I was in a hurry, but they sort of fixed it. The balloons looked horrible on it, pictures were wrinkly. Very dissapointed after spending that much $, they screwed it up & couldn't even fix it right. No discount on it, even when it looked horrible. The workers were not that pleasant. I sent an email in regards to it & no response. What a way to ruin a baby shower.

My sister and I both love this store. They make their own home made bratwurst in a variety of different flavors. Their hot and cold deli case is amazing, and their bakery is also great. Very nice staff, always willing to help.

Literally the only grocery store I shop at anymore. I never have been to a rechecks until moving to beaver dam and I’m obsessed. 💕 the employees are all very sweet and helpful and always trying to help out. My favorite items at the moment are grandpa rechecks jerky and the pre made chicken cordon blue, if you haven’t tried it your doing yourself a disservice.

Rechecks is a great place to shop. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. It gives you the feeling of small town shoping with kids packing your groceries and takeing them to your car for u. Great meat and cheese selections and fresh daily baked goods. Prices are worth the experiance u get when u shop at Rechecks. They also added an instore coffee shop that has great coffee drinks and a drive thru. Very modern store and great curb appeal. Stop in for a great shopping experience.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This grocery store is a pleasure to shop at. The deli, bakery and meat departments all have a delicious selection. The staff is extremely friendly. They ask if you are finding what you need while you are in the aisle vs asking when you are at the checkout. I would highly recommend.

I read the reviews so I wanted to see how much more fantastic this was then the other major grocery store in Beaverdam the large Piggly Wiggly near McDonald’s and 151. First thing I noticed when I walked in it seem like a pretty dark lit store but pretty modern on the on the layout. Stopped by the deli seemed a lot of pre-cut meat waiting I kind of like fresh cut, so I ordered some strange brand I’ve never heard of - theydidn’t have Saralee or boars head - some different brand I bought sun-dried tomato turkey, kind of on the dry side. But was OK. Then I went to the bakery area for fresh sub rolls and the sub rolls were not crazy fresh I got the freshest ones they had per the bakery woman and they felt like they were already getting kind of hard. Then on my list was a package of everything bagels and they had none, they had Saralee plain bagels and a couple others but they were very limited on the bagels that were available in the bread aisle. Then I was there to get coffee and some coffee creamer when I went to the coffee aisle it was very limited and different brands which was surprising many less than what I was used to. The Dunkin’ Donuts coffee (which I normally buy) was significantly more expensive than I’ve ever seen in any store it was $10.65 for a pound I just paid 699 at Walmart and I think seven dollars and change at Piggly Wiggly so rechek’s is horrifically more expensive for the same item you can get elsewhere, what scares me is what else am I buying here that’s overprice there??? I looked for the fresh meats display and seafood area and I didn’t see butchers or fresh options I saw prepackaged stuff and maybe I missed it but after checking a few more items and noticing the pricing that was significantly more than Piggly Wiggly I just put everything back and left the store. Then went to my tried and true Piggly Wiggly I was able to get boars head meats that I know are delicious, much fresher sub rolls that are made daily and they were soft as can be, lower-cost produce, my Dunkin’ Donuts coffee that was 40% cheaper, and everything else was available less expensive the meat counter had butchers back there with seafood they asked me what I wanted it’s just a much more positive experience at Piggly Wiggly. This is my observation but I don’t see the advantages of recheks only higher prices. Maybe I’m missing something.

It's been a town staple for years. It's clean, well stocked and the workers are helpful and polite. For the store size the variety is pretty good! If you want to support local, this is the place to grocery shop

Family owned, and run! Everyone is always friendly. They have a large selection of booze. There is a pharmacy, bank, and flower pop up store inside. The deli is the best. Their fried chicken is out of this world. I definitely recommend. The bakery, makes the best cakes in town. They have packaged snacks from the deli. Those are great as well

We had our cupcakes for our wedding made in the bakery at Rechek's! They were so helpful in coming up with a trial of different flavors and frostings- once we were decided they worked with us to put small roses on each cupcake to match our wedding theme. We and all of our guests absolutely loved the cupcakes- they were so tasty. Great job, highly recommend!

Intentionally marks up their allocated bourbon to take advantage of secondary market prices. Well above “inflation”. Do NOT take you bourbon business here. It’s laughable and insulting what they are charging. Trying to get 99 for Eagle Rare, 50 for Buffalo Trace, 199 for EH Taylor Small Batch. Highway robbery. Stay away.

The best and freshest produce and meats in beaver dam hands down! In store handmade brats that are to die for! Items are a little pricey, I shop sale items which are always amazing and the only place I buy my fruits and vegetables for the best freshness and amazing quality! I live very close so I walk there most times and they always offer to double bag my items and have above average customer service. They are ready to take out your gercory items and load them into your car on those hot 120° weather days with a smile and friendly conversation! We are lucky in Beaver Dam to have an amazing store with old time morals!

That air cleaner they have...yikes!!!! First time in this store in 9 months an felt like I left the dentist office!!! I was all dried out!!! Itchy eyes!!! Ontop of this, couldn't believe the increase in prices, an hardly any deli or bakery workers, not like it used to be .Lots of "now hiring" signs on front doors...makes a person wonder...don't think I'll be back anytime soon
