I literally had to find someone to run the register. I worked retail for 35 years in management and understand they need to stock and work not just stand at the register. They need to figure out how to stay closer or loose their customers. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Barron store is always messy, stuff sitting in aisles hard to get through store. Employees..a few friendly ones, others make you feel like you are bothering them. Have self check out now, which helps the line move faster. A/C apparently hasn'tbeen working for couple of weeks now, you go in and the store is closed at noon cause it's to hot !! I remember stores not having A/C, they used fans, you have fans at store.If you can't afford to fix A/C, then how Is being open for 4 hours going to pay for it!! Just wait until Fall when it cools down I guess, stores will be open regular hours then. Sure hope the heat works !! Used to like this store, but it's going down hill fast. Weather it's management at this store, or more of a corporate office not caring and following thru to improve their stores, someone needs to open their eyes and fix the issues.

The best that can be said about this store is we don't have to go all the way to Rice Lake! However, I do not know how this store stays open with the mess it is in. Today was particularly bad in the store with packaging materials laying all over the floor. This store always seems to be in disarray!!!

There is so much wrong with this store the staff yell across the the store and even act as entitled to think they have to have it there way. There is so much garbage around that store. Any other DG is better than this one. They leave items they don't have in shelves inside there stocking carts but are to lazy to stick the items. The store is so in organized. The staff get upset huffy and puffy if you put more than 5 items on the register. Not to mention if we ask for there name they denied it. And as for the food half of it is spoiled and the coolers aren't even warm enough to keep stuff cold.

The guy working tonight was very friendly and helpful. I chatted him up for ideas for stocking stuffers and he helped me out. Made my evening.

It's not like Walmart but it's convenient and usually good priced. The only issue I have is that the store hours more recently change without notice but I understand that is due to being short staffed or other unfortunate events but it still is a inconvenience to those who depend on them to be open until a certain time

I wish there was more Dollar General stores. Great prices, a wide range of products. And the employees at this particular store are kind and very helpful.My only issue, is the sometimes there's an abundant of products in the isles making it hard to navigate. Not for myself personally, but I speak for the elderly or handicapped.Definitely has great prices on big name brands for alot cheaper than other stores.

I am real happy with the productsI am really glad they have the big bottles of brisk tea and other ones. I just wish they would stock more of the tea.Cost is real good. I usually buy all i can which is most of the 2 certain kind of tea

You always have to wait 5-10 minutes in a line at the register. There is only ever one register open or only one working. If there isn’t an employee at the register you will have to walk around to find one or wait a while. Gordys or even Kwik Trip are better pleases to stop. Employees are respectful and polite. Checkout lines are fast and efficient. And some prices are cheap than dollar general if not the same.

Dollar General has a great selection of product. I do lots of my shopping here for my family. Decent family budget prices. And they are open later than other stores in town. People are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store. Thanks Dollar General.

This was a nice store that was clean and organized, compared to many other dollar general stores I have been into. Items were organized nicely and in thier proper places. Didn't have many items on sale at the time, and no major deals on larger purchases but the cleanliness of the store will keep me coming back.

Ever since the old manager moved to a different store..this is the sloppiness messiest store I've ever been in. Merchandise all over the floor (falling off racks and shelves) and boxes EVERYWHERE. Its often necessary to move items to get down an aisle.

I used to work at this dollar general, they do not appreciate hard working employees, i would work whenever someone called in immediately the manager of this one was playing favoritism, while the district and regional managers both said i was the best employee they had, and that they needed more employees like me. till the manager cut my hours from normally 16 or more hours down to 9 and since they dont pay as much but they pay weekly my check would have been maybe $50 and thats me being nice. while they let the known drug addict keep his hours and people who just go hired two weeks before were at 10 and 11. So i will take me and my regular customers who several times told me that if i left they wouldn't shop there anymore, we will all go elsewhere

I'm mainly just thankful that Dollar General, and even Family Dollar are in the smaller towns. Helps save gas, instead of driving to the bigger, further away towns. A lot easier to navigate a smaller store too. As I have issues with my feet, and can't stand for long periods of time. So it's win, win. :-)

I go here because I live nearby. But they seriously need to clean the bathrooms they are disgusting and have been. My daughter touched by some tags out in the store and touched something sticky. And some employees need to worry about their personal hygiene. I prefer Cumberland or rice lake over Barron's.

They were on friendly they were dirty they had nothing on the shelves nothing was stocked right you couldn't find anything nobody would help you they were disrespectful and that's exactly what these other stores beer and fear and Dollar General the only store I'll go to only one near the cleanest kind of compassionate people and their store is got everything they stock everything that's disinfected like I said don't go to those other stores go to Buren Dollar General that is a star with the best rating and things that you can find

I shop at barron wi store often. I like the store. The last time I was there on May 26th a new employee over stuffed my bag I didn't get to my car the bag riped and a jar of maraschino cherrys smashed to the pavement. They need to show new employee's not to overstuff the bags.

Always just one register when I go in there no matter how long the line. Polite just need to open another register when there's more than three or four in line.

The Barron store is the worst since they lost the manager that went to Rice Lake I'm from Barron and will drive to Cameron or Rice Lake because it's so nasty and nothing stocked everything in boxes on carts in your way I would recommend going to a different store

Plan on spending 10-15 minutes checking out even if there’s only 1-2 people in front of you . There’s a handful of employees managers too that make it obvious they don’t wanna be there especially Ashley ... shower much ?

When you need to hurry through the store because the minute you walk in the employee working has such horrible body odor it fills up the store. Teach your employees oral hygiene

Store is often messy and unorganized. A lot of shelf’s sit empty or bare as product sits on the floor for long periods.

Too much merchandise on the aisles and not enough on the shelves made it very difficult to get around the store let alone find what you need😕
