I put in an online order at 545p. At arrived at the store at 6pm. I was told my order was not ready yet and continued to hear this until almost 630p. In that time I watched numerous people come in, order food and leave while I still waiting. Finally I asked if there was some sort of discount for ordering food and have to wait that long. I was told nope with a snippy attitude from the male that was there. This place has went right down the dumps since it was sold…this is SO sad as it was always ran with professionalism and respect for customers. I will be driving to another DQ from now on….

What you see ain't what you get.👎Since when did they start teaching kids to make a burger with the lettuce, ketchup and mustard on the bottom...and no sliced onion, only chopped???And btw, the lettuce is chopped, too.Stick with the ice cream here.

Ordered 2 cafe shakes. Had a seat in front of the counter. Waited 15 minutes as we watched a group of kids come in after us check out. There were 2 younger individuals running the place. A guy from the back came from the back to help take orders as the girl made ice cream. After I watched all the team of kids get their order before ours and more people come in and have their orders taken, I finally went to the counter - 18 minutes passed! - and asked if we were going to get our order. The girl asked what it was and pulled it out of a drawer and gave it to me. They never called us! But looked at me several times. Our shakes were melted, so when she offered me a spoon, it was a joke! My shake was like coffee flavored milk. Won't return.

I came in and was in a hurry and the young lady that attended on me was very friendly and very professional. Because I was in a hurry I found out that I ordered the wrong item after it was already made and she happily exchanged it and made me a new item of the item that I wanted. She didn't put up a fuss and and she was like it's honestly no big deal I'm going to fix it for you and get you the right item. Now that's service with a smile! ❤️ DQ

Ordered food waited over 30mins never received food asked the Young man at the counter where the food was he said idk when he realized he had handed my food to some one else then they had to order it again and instead of putting a rush on the order another 30mins passed still no damn food went to the counter again and requested my money back never going there ever again terrible service. There need to be some supervision there with all the kids running the show. I would leave a half a star if I could.

Not what it used to be before the new owners. The best thing about the Barron DQ was that they topped their blizzard with extra toppings! The new fries are salty and the blizzards look smaller. So sad to see this change happen to such a already great place.

I may have a little hometown bias, but this Dairy Queen is by far the best Dairy Queen I've been to as far as their hot food goes. Since they don't have a drive thru, all of their food is prepared hot and fresh as soon as you order. With local family ownership they always provide excellent service with small town charm. Whenever visiting home, I always make a point to stop in and grab a bite to eat.

The only DQ I will ever go to when I have the option to go to a different one. Their food is amazing and they always have what you need. Service is great the only thing that sucks about being so great is that it is usually always busy but not to the point you won't get your food in good timing. You always will so don't worry about it.

It was late afternoon when I decided to go here and it was dead so I ordered my food as well as got it really fast. The staff were nice and I didn’t have any issues with them or the food which is a plus! If I’m not mistaken there was a window for people to order from outside which is really cool as well! I don’t normally go to this one as it’s a long drive out of the way but I’ll be sure to stop by again!

Exemplary location to procure an elegant but simple lunch for a modest price of 5 dollars! Technically $5.28 with tax so bring more than a five dollar bill to pay unless you plan on paying with a check card or credit card! Many locals frequently dine here and seem to enjoy themselves immensely!

Didn't get what I plainly ordered, and the young lady Alena felt the need to speak very loudly to me blaming the mistake on the poor new girl who obviously needed more training. Wanted a dollar more to fix mistake. I asked for my money back because I didnted care for how she handled the situation.

Not sure if they still have but their $5 lunch menu they offered was Awesome! As are their cheese curds! And like everything else they've raised their prices. Even on their Dilly Bars. . which are still "yummy"!

Just an hour and 49 minutes from Minneapolis it's a beautiful drive through the country with a nice Dairy Queen at the end of the rainbow I highly recommend this Dairy Queen because the food is delicious and the people are very nice it's also a very popular Dairy Queen I think it may be the very first Dairy Queen ever built in the state of Wisconsin my mom would go there for ice cream when she was a little girl she is 75 years old now and remembers the place very well. It's owned by her old gym teacher from back when she was in grade school but it's run by her son now it's definitely a must-see Dairy Queen and the drive is very nice. Just straight-up Old Highway 8 to Barron Wisconsin you can't miss it if you like the country once you get there you won't want to come back

Went there for blizzards today, ice cream and toppings were fresh and delicious and they even put extra toppings on top! Best DQ I've been to. They were busy but they were still very friendly.
