I had actually passed the restaurant and had to turn around and go back because it has been years since I ate at A&W. I ordered a double Big Papa Burger and was not disappointed. They are as good as I remember in my opinion. And for some reason the root beer is so much better than when you buy a can or bottle at a store. Service was great. They were fast, friendly and efficient. I'm definitely going to stop by anytime that I have the chance.

Overall it's a nice place connected to the gas station. A good little spot in a small town. So everyone knows everyone, the service was good no complaints. Prices are a bit high but on that note my mushroom and Swiss burger was fantastic, and the music was well Seasoned, plus the cheese melted.. Staff are nice and it's a good place I recommend

I was driving through Barron on my way home and thought I would go through the drive-through. I was the third car. I ordered promptly, a cheeseburger plain, due to allergies, an order of cheese curds, and a hot dog. It took a while to get my food. The employee was very nice. As I was leaving, the drive-through got very busy, about 10 cars.When I went to eat my food, the hamburger wasn't plain. So, one person could not eat. The hot dog was barely warm. The cheese curds were hot and perfect. Definitely some issues. Sadly, I will not be returning.Turning around and adding time to my trip was not an option.

Great food! Loved the onion rings & cheese curds and of course the A&W root beer floats. Very friendly staff and fast service. Had a real nice lunch and will definitely be back.

While the staff is friendly and food tasted good, this an absolute, disgraceful rip-off. My husband ordered the 'slider pub basket'. I ordered the 'pub basket fillet'. Your sign shows 3 in the basket. Was not given a choice of 2 or 3. I received 2. The price for the tiny portion is ridiculous. Btw, are you folks so ignorant to 'Tyler's, how transparent that you have an employee promoting himself through friends and family, truly makes reviews insignificant.

You could tell the staff was either new or overworked. Had to ask twice to purchase the special A&W Mugs. My husband and I collect and love the mugs. We were given a number for dine in and the workers just left our food on the counter and didn't even announce it being done. Another customer kindly told me that our food was done. The atmosphere was quiet and semi-clean.

Courteous and timely:) there's a whole truckers plaza also with a gas station/truck stop. Everyone is so friendly.Parking: This is a truck stop so there's plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of dining areas for multiple wheelchairs.

Great food, good service. My wife had the lemonade shake and she loved it. I had a burger and fries, everything was hot and good. The fries were crunchy and hot. If they hadn't forgotten one of our shakes they would have gotten 5 stars. Will definitely good again

Updating my review. This is the only A&W in my area that is a reasonable drive. I love their root beer floats and burgers. Not a huge fan of the chicken strips for some reason.The customer service hasn’t been too bad and has improved since my last review. The quality isn’t horrible with this location and the orders have always been accurate.

Went into to grab a bite to eat and since we haven't had A&W in a long while it sounded like a great idea. Sadly we were disappointed, when we got our fries they were cold, the burgers were okay. At least the staff was decent enough. Normally I don't complain but for $20 I expect hot French fries at least. We probably won't return.

Ate here last week SaturdayThe food was excellent and my grandchildren enjoyed theirice cream dessert BUT the part I most appreciated was the excellent ervice from the young staff. Nice smiles, and very courteous. Would definitely stop again.

Burgers are good, chicken strip basket is really yummy! Chili dogs are yummy too. Good ff, onion rings and cheese curds. Also of course their root beer floats! Great service. We went through the drive up. Employee was respectful, polite and a great smile!

Updated review stiill better no better you could cook the food at home faster then this place. food is ok might be quicker to go to the next closest a and w for your food staff was more interested in throwing frozen boxes of burgers unto the ground then cooking food or paying attention took 15 minutes for food then they had to make a shake that I ordered with my food then had to get my sauce the I asked for with my food everything but the food was forgotten this whole time three to four employees were throwing a box of burgers unto the ground. Was there only car in drive Thur for 20 minutes. Sad really because food isn't bad.

Really good burgers at the A & W. Daily specials are available.There are other options for hot food inside as well. A little bit of everything inside the store, ranging from worms, fresh cheese curds to liquor. Friendly lady at the checkout. However, when a customer saw the items I had purchased she wanted to come with me. 🤨

Terrible atmosphere with the gas station open to the restaurant. Too expensive and the AC was turned up so high that we wished we had our winter coats with us. This was our first time there and we will not go there again. I love the A & W, but this place was so disappointing. My advice is: put walls up so the restaurant is apart from the station; warm it up in there! Nobody enjoys a meal when they're freezing!; train the employees to be more welcoming, neat and wipe the tables off between customers!
