Went with my fiancé to pick out some wine for Mother’s Day. My fiancé wanted my opinion and for me to help so it could be from both of us. We went to check out and they refused the sale because I was underage. I’m 20 and my fiancé is 26. This was a bit frustrating. I’d never been here before. I understand why they needed an ID but refusing us a sale because I’m underage was a bit much and forced us to go elsewhere where there wins selection wasn’t as good.

A nice, clean, and well supplied grocery store. It's open till the midnight. I liked the coffee bar and a few tables available for hungry shoppers to consume in place.

Independent grocers like this are the best. Friendly service. Very well stocked, clean, nicely laid out store. Full deli and cafe counter inside as well.

My experience at the store was fine but there was a worker in particular that stood out. I was buying one piece of produce and two other things. While weighing the produce at the self checkout a creepy 20-something worker overlooking the self checkout comes over to assist me, even though I never asked for it. Which is fine except he was frustrated he came over to help. Which interrupted his conversation with a friend. He helped and left until I tried to pay. I was using a card and the machine had a hard time accepting it. Such brought the balding cashier back over here. Which I didn't ask for. And agathe was frustrated at me for having to come over. He said passive aggressive comments such as "don't you know how to use a card?" And "can't you read it says to ____" in a very rude tone. As well as standing so close he would of been pressed up against me if I hadn't moved forward. I had to cover the pad so he wouldnt see my information and I quickly left. I don't want to come back.forward.

I've been coming here for a long time. If you need help they have excellent customer service. I often get help from Tina, who gets to know the community so well she'll tell you what you forgot. Customer service comes from the heart and can't be taught. Their liquor section is the biggest in town.

I absolutely love this store! They have the best quality, selection, and prices on their meats. Thier produce is always very fresh and my family and I Love their baked goods. The staff there is also very helpful and friendly, you never have to go hunting for help and feel like a bother like in the big box stores. It's nice to shop somewhere with a friendly small town feel.

My wife and I stopped in as we passed through on Labor Day. The cashiers were genuinely helpful, smiling, and personable. When I asked for help, somebody always responded willingly. We were not a bother. In fact, one man, from the meat department stopped to help us find a particular beer while on his lunch break. He said he had the time. How nice! We were thoroughly impressed with this store and the people who made it successful. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

not a fan of this place. Today (11/3/22) got gas here and the sign advertised $3.69/gal; a little bit above market but not bad as its BP gas (though thats suspect now too). Arrived home and saw that the receipt says "price/gal $4.419". Pretty neat trick there!Called and, while they acknowledged that these eyes read sign correctly, the pump was indeed charging the higher price ("from yesterday"?!?! yeah right), they are not prepared to refund difference or credit....just tough Shi*.Wonder how many people are too busy to even look at their receipts in-between texts to notice??

Much better now that ownership transition is over. Disappointed when we can't order cakes, or even cupcakes. But you run out of some things that we can't get rain checks on. Specials good!Produce section is confusing. Too much packaged deli items. What ever happened to the stores that use to make or bake what you needed?I'm disabled & have trouble getting around in provided cart. In produce, cold beverages, & lunch meats there are too many displays of beer, wine & liquor stacked in my way. It seems more like a liquor store with some groceries, etc. This was was my major complaint to previous owners.

Best place to get Carr Valley cheeses & fresh curds. Rarely a wait at a register for checkout. Staff friendly and helpful. Shelves well stocked with decent variety. I live out of state now, but this place is a must-do for my every cheesehead shopping list!

We purchase most of our groceries here because of convenience. A good store for the basics. Culinary artists may be disappointed in the availability of high end food stuffs. A pretty good meat section and a good reasonably priced deli.

I used to love this place when it was the Viking Mart. The prices have gone way up, and the service way down. My last visit this morning I stopped for gas and a car wash. The pump would not print my receipt, so I went in to get it from the service desk, the cashier was rude and claimed to not see the purchase on the pump I literally just used, and would not even give me a receipt for my gas/carwash and practically accused me of trying to steal a car wash from them. I would not have come in for the receipt if the printer at the pump actually worked!! The time before I was double charged on my bill for food items (billed two items when I bought only one) and got attitude when I came back in when I discovered the error, not an apology!! I will now take my business elsewhere, I would give there zero stars if it were an option, the worst service experience I have had in a long time this morning.

Very cool, small town feel grocery store. It sbeen around sense the 20's so they know what their doing by now. Always people ready to scan your groceries. No waits at all. They also had a lot of vegan options which is awesome!

Ok place to go, especially for a micro brew or good priced alcohol. But I can never find the produce I'm looking for and a bit of the time the produce I find is lacking quality. The meat department however has been great with really no complaints.

Super rude staff at the deli, not to just my company that comes in for lunch, which makes a line. Literally every person that comes up to the counter is treated the same. Customer service is thrown out the window by these employees. Rather pay for my meal at the gas station counter or go somewhere else. Food is decent, but fast food restaurants cost the same and at least you're not treated like that at them.

I like the convenience of this store because it's close to my house, but parking is a zoo and way too often groceries are bagged incorrectly. Last time I was there the cashier asked if she could put a bottle of bleach in with fresh vegetables. . . Raw meat is often mixed in with other foods as well.

First time customer and I have to say I was pretty impressed, very nice selection, especially the liquor/beer department. I purchased cheese and sushi and both were very good. Will definitely stop when I'm in the area again.

Great deli, meat department, produce. I especially like that it had most everything yet is small enough to get what you need and go. Check out is quick without much wait time. Staff is friendly, courteous, and respectful!

Really good beer selection, can pick your own sixer too as there are many different bottles sold by the single. They sell cigars, which is better priced then the cigar shops. I bought a ribeye steak here, but it wasnt worth the full price as it was tough and chewy. But overall a good place to pick up sundries. Staff seem congenial and pleasant.

This is only based on the car wash. Drove in and filled up the gas tank, selected the basic car wash to get ice and snow off the car after the snow. $8 for a basic car wash.. ouch, but paid it. Got the car washed and started to drive through the blower to dry the car, it never came on.. so i have a soaking wet car in freezing weather. Drove around to the store and went in to let them know the blower wasn't working. First lady was very friendly, second lady who came over told me the basic doesn't come with the dryer... what? I told her that was a bit strange and I have never been to a car wash that doesn't dry your car for $8. She turned around and went back to her job. Wow... so now home chipping ice of the car.

Very Poor Management. Anytime a manager tells you as a customer, "well if you don't like it, you can" there is a Management issue. As a retail manager myself for 15yrs or so, I would never allow any employee or member of a management team to utter those words. I use to shop their weekly, 2 to 3 times a week because we like to support our local businesses, now however I don't even stop in for gas. A consumer has a choice of when, where, and how they spend their money, when you get this sort of service, you should take your dollars somewhere else which I now do.

Cashiers can’t spin the wheel; you have to bag the items up yourself even if there’s only 4. Lost out on two boxes food that were facing the cashier ; she never spun the bag wheel ; bag was never facing me .Called they claim it’s gone within 10 minutes.

Ok so this store is horrible. When my partner came in with our service dog the cashier stated that he didn't thing she was a service dog. Then when my partner confronted the manager about it he said to "just bring her paperwork next time" this is a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act.I don't understand how you can be a manager and not have proper training on the ADA.

I have been regular customer since you open the doors! It is the last time today! There are other choices! No gas no groceries, no liquor! Thankful your staff was wearing face masks, but as long as not all customers are not wearing masks, how can you guarantee that your store follows the law?

I think we are done at this store. We used to buy quite a bit of meat here but no more. Got ground chuck there recently and the stuff stunk so bad we were scared to eat it. Heard the same thing about the chicken someone else bought here. Other that that I feel like the prices are too high.
