We had a great trip here and would love to come back. It was fun for the whole Family and we were entertained for days. We also rented a Cabana and now we don’t think we can go to a resort without it, its a must. Our rooms were beautiful and spacious, Willow helped us every time without a problem. Would love to check them out in the summer and enjoy their outdoor swimming areas.

I usually don’t leave reviews. This has possibly been the worst family trip for us.First, the room service were non existent. We didn’t get our room cleaned none while we were present. We had to call twice just to receive new towels which also took a couple hours for us to get. We had someone upstairs from us that literally sounded like a stampeded the whole night, even during “quiet hours”.The waterpark was okay but way too overcrowded. Lifeguards were present which is a plus but in the kids section, people covered the walkways and weren’t told to create space. The food was also okay for the short variety present. We had a package that included arcade credits. I had to spend over $200 additionally just for my children to even have fun because of how much the arcade was. With the $50 prepay card, that was only good for at least 4 games. That was a terrible deal. All in all, if you’re looking for a getaway for small children, they’ll have fun regardless. But as a parent and having older children also, this place is not worth the value. You’d be better off at Chuck E. Cheese.

Overall, our family of 6 had a good time. It's definitely harder for Teens, just because there's not a lot that caters to that age group.Customer service: Never had any issues. Everyone was always polite and willing to help. The group that led dance parties interacted well with the kids.Rooms: No issues with cleanliness inside the room. The back "porch" was littered with cigarettes and broken pieces of concrete. Also, the sofa bed was definitely broke or just had to much use. It was very slanted and we had to put the couch pillows under the bed to keep it up.Water park: Never any issues with rides, cleanliness, or wait times. Maybe some upgrades though?Prices: would like to see food and drink prices lowered. The taste for everything was great, but I'm already paying a lot to come there, I don't think families should be paying an arm and a leg for food and drinks. Help families save.

We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge this week from a Wednesday to a Friday and it was such a fun and amazing experience! We read some recent reviews lately that were very negative and we did not experience any of those things at all! Our room was nice and clean and perfect for what we needed for our stay. Our children are almost 1 and 3 years old and they had so much fun. The water park is amazing for younger kids and they were able to enjoy everything. We have stayed at the kahlahari before, but the Great Wolf is such a family and kid friendly experience. It is even cheaper than the Kalahari, but I think we got so much more out of great wolf for our younger kiddos! All of the activities for kids in the lobby were so fun and all of the staff is courteous, helpful and friendly! The arcade also had fun games for all ages. We will definitely be back and recommend the Great Wolf to anyone!

Awesome place Mon-Thurs.Very crowded Fri,Sat,Sun.Kids are good going there until around 12?? Mine are 6,6,& 7 and plenty to do. This is definitely a family place.Appropriate swim wear required.Non stop stuff for the kids from morning to night. After pool hrs, there is a dance & bubble party every night. This time we tried the Magic Quest game that is attached to the hotel.Worth every penny!!! My kids wanted to do that over swimming.

I have taken the family here the last few years and overall everything was good. This time we went upon check in I was hit with a $15 parking fee. I thought this was absolutely absurd. Whwn booking the room there was no mention of this parking fee. We have already bought the room and now you want us to pay to park. It's not about the money but it's about the trickery and it's absolutely absurd to pay to park at a hotel. This put a bad taste in my mouth and will probably not be going here anymore.

Definitely one of the lower end options for indoor water parks in the dells. Rooms are decent enough. They are close to the highway so you hear the road noise. Water park is small so it’s good for young kids but there are limited adult options for drinking and slides for older kids. The one bar in the water park often has a long line. No lazy river no adult pools. Pool towels are old and frayed.Cherry on top for me was that the front desk wouldn’t let me plug my EV into any outlet. They said security would go around and unplug it.You’re better off at Kalahari or wilderness.

I rate this hotel 5 stars all across. Why? Because I'm a very picky person and I had not one complaint! Check in we were greeted and they welcomed us ! Was given a birthday wrist ban as it was my husbands birthday lol and that was so special ! It's the thought that counts right! Then our room , was clean! I always check the beds and smelled of clean sheets, mattresses were newer and clean. Carpet was fresh , bathrooms smelled good. Then water park I went up to 3 employees with questions, all 3 gave me answers. That right there was amazing , given how big the place is. Fun getaway , highly recommend!

This was our first time at Great Wolf. Our kids definitely loved the water park and we were so impressed with the lifeguards! They get 5 stars! They are so attentive and do visual sweeps of the water constantly. My youngest fell out of the tube when she landed in the water after the lazy river slide and the lifeguard quickly jumped into action.I agree with other reviewers that the rooms could use some updating. The pull out bed was very slanted which seems to be a common problem. We thought the staff was very friendly and helpful and would come again.

Before our stay I had LOTS of issues with differing prices. Paid one thing, ended up paying almost $200 more, got that to a $0 balance, and then was charged more money. Between the website, app, and location, they all have differing information when it comes to costs and what is offered at the location. With almost spending $3k for our 4 night stay it definitely could have been better but I think on the aspect of the company and desk employees. With my husband being a maintenance supervisor he was able to point out all of the fixes needing done. The rooms absolutely could use some repainting. We had a loft room where there were random painting patches along the wall up in the loft area. There also was some pretty knarly water damage around where the lights were on the ceiling. Could definitely be a fire/electrical hazard. I definitely voiced myself with the desk staff when it came to sincerity and taking accountability. The food at this location was alright but I’d definitely save on using dining credits as the prices are far fetched when there are really neat restaurants nearby. Also, you do NOT get room service. The dining credits say you can use for room service but you still have to go and physically pick the food up. The pool area was awesome. Lots to do and keep kiddos, and adults alike, occupied.AND I spoke to two different managers and the app Willow to report issues so reporting back to the company is just a waste of time as it will just be said they will use for future reference.Rooms: Needing updating and attention to hazards. Our loft room had water damage along the light fixtures and fire spicket in the ceiling. The toilet seats also could use updating as they look almost wet without being wet (not sure how this happens).Nearby activities: Lots of neat restaurants nearby and not far from Wisconsin Dells attractions that are a must go to.Safety: Again, water damage along light fixtures in ceiling. Definitely a fire hazard in room 486.Walkability: Lots of walking. We were told one door to go through to get to our room but discovered another door was closer and easier.Food & drinks: Overpriced and you have to go pick up which by the time you get to your room to enjoy, it is cold. Save yourself quite a bit of money and go to the best restaurants nearby! There’s Paul Bunyan, Buffalo Phil’s, and Moosejaw that are absolute musts! This is the second trip to Great Wolf Lodge (two different locations) where the dine in credits were a waste. We won’t be buying again even when there’s a “deal”.Noteworthy details: The water park is awesome. The desk staffing doesn’t have hospitality nor do they take accountability. Do NOT rely on the app and website as between these, and the physical location, it is absolutely differing. Very VERY frustrating. I have screenshots of 3 different totals I paid and I’m still certain I was overcharged $200. Food/drinks are over priced.

First time staying at this lodge! My husband and I have two toddlers. They have many activities for young kids and toddlers which is nice. The toddler area at the waterpark could be a bit bigger, but overall was nice. Expensive trip, yes, the staff is polite and attentive which is nice. Food is alright! Overall good place to visit if you have young kids!

Beds were comfortable with enough pillows. Porch was nice to have. Customer service left a lot to be desired. Mostly the towel situation. They staff there was not efficient nor nice. They also told us we NEED TO REMEMBER YOUR ROOM NUMBER. And gave us our room number telling us it was ready. We then used our bands to enter the room of someone else changing. More than a little awkward. They did nothing to mediate this and wouldn’t even allow free late check out for the incident. The water park had several wings which were nice to explore but difficult to keep track of your party. It could also use paint or a deep clean.

This place was fun to stay at. I stayed in the 4000's and those rooms are massive. There were plenty of beds and even a few pull-out couches. The rooms could've used a fresh coat of paint though. My favorite part was how clean the bathrooms were. The water parks were a good time but they were crowded. There's no outdoor hot tub here. That's a missed opportunity. The park with the huge bucket seriously needs to be renovated. The other two parks were nice. Food is very expensive here. There's no maps of the hotel here so I got lost trying to find my way around. The place was right off the highway, which was nice. Easy in and easy out.Rooms: Rooms were cleaned by the staff very well. The bathrooms were clean and sheets nicely folded and tucked in the beds. Sinks around the place were clean and worked. Plenty of hot water too.Safety: Very safe for people except for the bathrooms in the water parks. The floor in there is very slippery. It was like walking on ice.Walkability: There are directions in the hotel, but they were rather vague. I wish there were maps of the hotel so I could understand where I was.Food & drinks: Food at the water park was good, but it's incredibly expensive. $18 for a cheeseburger and fries seems a bit much. Drinks offered are Pepsi products.

It's a great place to take kids 1 to 12. The water slides are a lot of fun. I love how they have 3 sections for indoor water park stuff but it's all close together. My one kiddo does like the loudness of the big water bucket so we were easily able to avoid that. I would have rated 5 star but the prices are over inflated. Bring your own food and drinks if possible.

My whole family stayed at Great Wolf lodge for a weekend, paying for the king suite and family suite. The furniture in the room was so old and wobbly (cheap) we couldn't even enjoy staying in the room. Lamp was broken, called to get fixed. Never came to fix until I started walking down to the front desk and just so happened to run into a maintenance guy. Finally got lamp fixed then!! Went to water park and could only use the giant pool because all other rides were closed down. This was like at 3pm!! Ridiculous for a huge water park and for what you pay!!! Nobody would help me out with a complimentary stay certificate!! What kind of establishment is this. This water park hotel is a total joke!!! Not very good customer service at all!!!Rooms: Awful, cheap furniture and uncomfortable!!Noteworthy details: Closed a lot of the water rides early and told us we had to get out of hot tub!! At 3pm in the afternoon!!

I had scheduled everything over the phone. I wasn’t told I would be charged $15 per day to park at the hotel I was staying at.I was also told over the phone that I had to pay for my small children at the same price as an adult at the restaurant only to find out when I arrived that was not the case.On our way to the waterpark my son tripped, and his head struck a corner of a wall, which was honestly really sharp and split his head wide open and had to get stitches. As a “ sorry please don’t sue us.” They comped us to do this magic quest thing, which was one of the most boring unentertaining things my children and I have ever experienced. So many people told me I should have gone to Kalahari instead and I really wanted them to be wrong but unfortunately they were right. And what’s funny is the most fun we had was at Kalahari .Also, when you get the pup pass, they give you a couple of things which were nice for the little kids, but they price the arcade credits that you get in such a way that your kid can literally play one game because they charge out the wazoo for each arcade game .We had a set budget that we were unable to stick to because of all of the little nickel and dime things that they did to us there . And so much of the staff was unable to speak English that it made a lot of things more challenging than they needed to be .I’m sharing a picture of the wall my son struck, his head on .Rooms: Rooms were quiet the beds were comfortable . But our room was pointing directly at a highway and my daughters complained about how loud traffic was all night.Food & drinks: Stay at one of the condos there, make your own food or go out don’t eat anything at the hotel .Noteworthy details: The facility nickel and dimes you to death on everything .

This place is nice. In need of some updating as our wallpaper border was come down, and the toilet paper holder was all rusty, and you could see places they tried to touch up the paint, but it didn't match. We definitely stayed busy in the water park, but again... room for improvement. The mat and tube slides there was always a line at the end of the ride waiting for tubes/mats... sometimes up to 15 people impending foot traffic forming a line where there shouldn't be one.If there were more tubes/mat, the line would be on the stairs, where it should be. Also, some slides were very dirty looking (like slimy brown sections) probably just wore out, making it seem dirty but it kept making me paranoid about algae and funguses. I was too nervous to think what would a swap test come back with. Look we had fun, kids had fun... but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Really fun and affordable place to bring the family. Our room was great. We never felt crowded or like we needed to get out. Two queen beds, and a sitting area with a table, couch, coffee table, and fireplace. And a balcony. I love that the room has a separate sink outside the bathroom and came with a mini fridge and microwave. We went in January, so obviously no outdoor stuff was open, but the inside water parks, arcade, and magic quest thing was more than enough to keep my kids entertained. The kids are 9 and 11 and young enough to still enjoy the inside water parks. Older teens might be bored, but younger kids loved it. We'd certainly go back.Rooms: Rooms were great for a family of four. We got the room with the sitting area that has a couch and table and chairs. It was great. Felt like a small apartment. Never felt crowded or cramped.

I would give above a 4.5, our family had a wonderful time and would go back but the rooms do need some updating. Specifically the bathrooms and sink areas in the family suites. They are on the lower end of the price range so maybe the higher priced rooms are newer but mid 90s residential grade fixtures used. That is really my only critique. The water park is great, had slides we all enjoyed. The lazy river and wave pool are small but our kids didn't notice it. Definitely geared toward younger kids probably best between 3-10 for the shows and activities they have but any age can find a slide in the water park. All in all we had a blast in the water park, arcade, and kids love their build a bears with the great wolf lodge outfits.

Booked a suite & enjoyed our time away. Loved the food & arcade. The water park is fairly small & mostly gaged to kids under 10yr.

WOW! Well done Great Wolf. We have been to most of the water parks in the Dells over the last 30 years and I would say this one is geared towards kids under 12. We brought our 2 year old grandson and had the best time. Everything was well thought out starting from the reservation to the App you use while at the resort to the arm bands for the pools that also work as your room key and credit card to charge from the restaurants and stores to your room. There were so many activities set up throughout the day to keep the kids busy if they don’t want to swim. Every staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, even the virtual assistant that texts you on the day you are to arrive. If we needed more towels or had a quick question we just texted and they always replied right away. We will definitely be back again!!

All of the employees we dealt with were very helpful and friendly. Specifically the gentleman that was working Magiquest - extremely helpful, kind, and really made it a great experience for my kids. Front desk workers were attentive and helpful. Rooms were clean and one was even ready when we checked in at 1:00, so that was a nice bonus. We did have an issue, but it was dealt with quickly, professionally, and in a satisfactory way. We got pizza from there and it was good - prices were in line with other places in the area. Overall, kids had a great time celebrating my oldest's birthday and we'll be back to celebrate another birthday again in a few months.

While a smaller indoor park than others great wolf lodge offers great opportunities for fun and at a great price. The speical needs program one else on the area offers in the area. Gave a great relief to our family making the stay that much better. Many free activities and food fairly priced for a resort. I recommend buckets in the water park for burgers.Life guards are very vigilant, though rules are pushed. For example the southern hot tub if almost always over capacity. Will be returning for day visits and extended stays.

We stayed on the 4th floor near the elevators. The rooms were okay, the toilet and shower definitely needed to be cleaned. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but that’s usually what you get with hotel rooms. The beds didn’t look properly made, almost as if house keeping just layered sheets on.We noticed pretty fast that this is a park for mainly kids, there is not much to do for adults. I guess that was my fault for lack of research. There is one adult slide called the Howlin’ Tornado. The unfortunate part was how short the slide was and having to carry the big tube up the stairs unlike other water parks. Other than that, there is a small hot tub. Since it was just my husband and I, we will be going elsewhere for a water park.If you have smaller children, this is the place to go. If it’s just adults, I would recommend the wilderness.Nearby activities: They have a nail salon, regular spa, smoke shop, an escape room, and an arcade inside of Buffalo Phil’s. They also have a mall within walking distance with over 25 stores to go to.Food & drinks: GWL had tons of food & drink options close by. They have a McDonald’s & Taco Bell within walking distance. There is a Starbucks and Dunkin nearby for coffee. There is a Famous Dave’s, Dominos, Culver’s, Burger King, Subway, Jersey Mikes Sub, Cracker Barrel, Pizza Ranch, Dennys, Noodles & Company, and a local restaurant called Buffalo Phil’s with an arcade inside of it.

Initial impression is great. But the water park is nothing special as it’s aged and not every fountain in the little kids pool works which is sad. Since this is geared towards kids. Also I think it’s a joke that they charge you $15 if you don’t return towels as anyone can take your towel while you are swimming. The rooms are good size but you HEAR everything. It sounds like a herd of elephants above you. Maybe we just have a very loud family above us but it’s not peaceful after a long day swimming. The food is okay at best, definitely overpriced for the quality. It is good that they have scheduled entertainment for the kids.Overall, would I be back? Not going to be my top choice.

When we first checked in we were told that our room would be done in 10 minutes we waited another 45 minutes before going back to the front and asking how much longer our room would be they then moved us to the opposite side of the hotel.. because they forgot about us! When we checked into our room, we put all of our stuff in our refrigerator, and it would not get cold... we also had problems with our toilet! first thing getting into the room. So within our first 15 minutes in our room, we had maintenance to our door twice.. we had 5 people in the room, and we had toilet problems the whole time. We even had the back of the toilet replaced. At one point, it was bubble up!!!! It would not stop! The kids enjoyed themselves for the most part, but they were let down a little bit due to part of the water park being closed down due to a pump problem. I am not sure if this happens often there, but it was a rough stay! Save your money and try a different place. We were also told that we would get a refund due to everything going on (and us leaving a day early), and they have not followed threw at all! Also not for sure what's going on at night, but it always seemed like somebody was slamming a door! And to top off the whole trip, the fire alarm was pulled at 10:00 at night and went off 2 more times after that!
