We've stayed at Sunnyside with our family the past 5 years and it's always a highlight of our summer. The lakefront store staff are so friendly and great with our kids. Christina is always so helpful and quick to resolve any issues that come up (power outages, flipped breakers, forgotten wallets etc). We look forward to coming back year after year!

We had a great time. We did rent the pontoon for a full day (8am-7pm) and when we got there we were informed there was a ski show so we needed to be back at 5pm instead of 7, that would have been nice to know before.Boat was extremely well kept and had everything we needed, staff was nice and helpful in the back store. Boat was in the water ready when we got there.We did stand around waiting for someone to help us in the front store for quite some time.

We just finished our weeklong vacation in the big cabin at Reed’s Sunnyside marina. We had a blast. This was our second year staying here.The private beach is so fun for the kids and for the adults just wanting sit out in the sun.The cabin is big and roomy and very comfortable. The kitchen had all of the items we needed plus some that we didn’t know we needed. The deck is amazing and very child friendly.We are just learning the lake, but found a couple of good fishing holes. We were able to catch our limit and have a fish fry.We will be renting again next year!

We use Sunnyside Marina to install our dock and lift in the Spring, to remove our dock and lift in the Fall, and to retrieve, store, and deliver our pontoon boat every year. We also have them winterize and/or repair our pontoon every year. On one occasion, we called Christina from Sunnyside while we were on the lake and she arranged to have immediate repairs to our pontoon right on the dock at Sunnyside. They are a great local company and Christina, in particular, has gone "above and beyond" for us on multiple occasions.

5 stars for top notch customer service and a new boat transaction that was as smooth as can be. Jeff and his team go above and beyond to take care of their customers’ needs. We purchased a new surf boat last week and as part of our trade in, Jeff had his mechanics stop what they were doing to help with a unexpected issue with our old boat only to discover it was no big deal at all - just needed a new propeller which they replaced on the spot in 10 minutes. Can’t say enough positive things about this buying experience. You’ll be in good hands at Sunnyside!

Jeff and his entire staff deserves an A+ in customer service. We bought a 2020 RI237 in May and it was a great experience. With many other large items purchases I've found post sale service is awful. Sales people promise everything and deliver as little as they can get away with. Keep up the great service and we will continue to refer more business your way.

We rented the fishing pontoon (#4) for our family vacation on Big Blake Lake in August. It was exactly what we needed. 6 of us could comfortably ride and fish. I’ve rented a few boats in my day, but I’m a novice at best…this was easy (and really fun!) to operate. The guys delivered the boat to the nearby boat landing, and even picked it up right from our rental cabin. The rates were fair, (in fact they only charged half on one of the days due to rain!), the reservation was easy to arrange for, and the communication with their staff was awesome. Renting this pontoon really made our week a joy…I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

I’ve lived on Balsam Lake for 50 years. Sunny side marina has serviced and supported our boats, docks and lifts through out those years with the utmost attention to detail and customer service. They strive to accommodate their customers in every way possible especially during the spring when everyone wants their boat in. Those who complain their boats don’t run after coming out of storage may want to consider the condition of their boat when dropped off in the fall and how they invest in maintaining it

We rented a pontoon on a Sunday. The boat itself was clean and served it's purpose to seat 8 comfortably. However, I tend to think the establishment does not appreciate it's boat rental customers for a couple reasons.First, there isn't a restroom to use which is odd considering most people would like to empty their bladder before boarding a boat for the day. The port-a-potty they offer was less than clean, and a real hassle when 8 people want to run off the boat quickly to relieve themselves then re-board the boat. Also, as a mother of young children the port-a-potty made for hard bathroom breaks since my boys refused to use the port-a-potty. But in all honesty, it was in such bad shape that we had a couple adults who refused to use it as well.The second thing that was bothersome was the beach. It is 20 feet from the boat rental office and the owners restrict swimming at the beach. If you have young children they will more than likely want to swim at the beach since it is within eyesight and a short distance from the boat rental front door BUT the owners will not let boat renters swim at the beach. Since the boat rental owner is the same as the resort beach owner, It just seems like poor taste to restrict boat renters from swimming at the beach... especially since it is so close to the boat rental office.Summary:Having bathroom access is a basic need and every business should prioritize having a clean, accessible bathroom for use. This boat rental outfit has no bathroom which shows a lack of concern for the boat rental customer; and the restricted beach seems to be poor taste especially since it is just footsteps from the dock and the front door.

My inlaws have a cabin on Balsam that I spend a great deal of time at. I can always count on sunnyside to come to the rescue whether it be parts / service / install. Jeff has always gone out of his way to demonstrate what great customer service looks like. Additionally, they dont charge insane amounts either like some of the shops around the cities!
