Please clean this place up. The shelves are disorganized. The floors are filthy. Mess behind the countertop. Get new management or owners that can take pride in their store for the sake of Balsam Lake’s reputation. I was scared to buy food here since it was dirty.

Goodness, I'm sure these smaller companies are struggling to find staff to work but this place is beyond just needing staff. It's a total mess. Many things don't have prices anywhere nearby. They have a decent frozen section where you can get totally random frozen food like microwave meals, and ice cream. The rest of the place, good luck. It's totally random if you will find what you need.

Make sure you check the date on anything perishable. As if you can even get in the door to shop. This place pays $10 an hour to be dumped on from an entire town of entitled housewives. You can get blind drunk and work here so that's a bonus. The district manager smokes speed so I guess family dollar is a free for all. Considering they don't have cameras 🤐🤫😉

Good things that are pretty low cost. It pays to make this your first stop when looking for something. The employees are helpful and friendly if you are looking for something and even if you aren't.

Shame on you Family Dollar you're employees work hard to keep your company running, the Balsam Lake,WI store has 1 fulltime employee that has been running your company to keep your customers HAPPY. Maybe you should not be so selfish and cheep and pay them at least 16.00 an hour price of living has gone up so much no one can live off of 11.00.... Do the right thing...

It's a good store but they seem to be closed anytime they want to they need to pay their help better so they can keep the store open!! When they are getting deliveries or putting away deliveries. I guess I have to just go somewhere else!!!

Card machine was down and she had me swipe probably about 30 times then took a cash person behind me and took his cash & added to my bill and tried telling her u added $5.01 to my total & I finally said screw it, I tried 2 different cards. If it's broke put a sign up.

The store has been given a new name and look. Just recently started their grand opening! Tons and tons of quality brand name products at low prices. I'm happy with everything I purchased. 👍

It seems that with their remodel that their prices have gone up. It's okay for a quick stop. The prices on the hotdogs are way more than Walmart's. I will still stop in.

They do have a lot of supplies just smaller. it's the only place in town to get something since there is no grocery store in Balsamlake wi.
