This place was perfect for us. We booked a different hotel many months ago, and upon arrival discovered it was filthy. Journey’s End had a room and we were able to go straight there. The room was spotless & smelled so clean. It had an awesome grassy area for our dog, with fire pits and picnic tables. The owners were constantly available and beyond helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to come back, and next time stay in one of the adorable cabins!

I booked online, and received a confirmation very quickly.Upon arrival I was greeted by the owner who was extremely personable, sincere and very helpful in any and all questions I had. I chose a two double bed room, and it was very, very clean. My room had ample lighting, mini fridge, microwave, controllable thermostat, coffee, and clean bathroom towels. For the price you get much more than what you pay for.Within walking distance, an actual walk where you get exercise.., of a few great restaurants, one brewery and Lake Michigan.Pet friendly, open year round and an awesome staff that cleans like crazy! I’ll be back!

Ideal location (quiet, less touristy town on the eastern part of the peninsula, yet within 10-20 mins by car to nearly everything), affordable rooms, and lovely owners! We stayed in one of the motel rooms for a week and had a very comfortable stay. The owners gave us lots of great tips and recommendations. Rooms were cleaned daily and were well-maintained. The owner even gave us a little tour of one of their cabin rentals before we left. They're beautiful and would be well worth paying a bit more for, especially for families or people with pets. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quaint motel room or cabin rental in a quiet Door County town. Always great to support family-owned businesses with such accommodating and friendly owners!

I loved staying here and would stay here in the future. We stayed in a cabin and it was clean and well cared for. We were able to cook our own meals, and with a couple small exceptions had everything we needed in the kitchen. Loved sitting on the porch in the evening and watching the sunsets. It was peaceful and quiet and centrally located on Door Peninsula. There is no water view, but Lake Michigan is very close. The owners, particularly Andy are super nice. A highlight of our week was when he offered us some fresh green beans and sugar snap peas straight from his garden! Yummy! Their refund policy was very liberal during the time of Covid. All in all, a wonderful vacation and a wonderful stay.

We planned a last minute trip and felt lucky to get a room here as there were no other available rooms in the area. There was confusion about how many nights we booked and the staff handled the problem well although we did pay more than we expected to. Rooms were basic and clean. So it’s a great place for people with simple needs! Just makes sure you receive an email confirming the number of nights and the cost of your stay as we did not receive one and it became a problem.

The Good. Andy at the front desk was nice and the cabin design was very cute. The place was warm. Beside the rock Quarry and RV park in the back yard, the place is very quiet. The Bad. The beds are terrible - you would be better off sleeping on the floor. They charge you the moment you arrive rather than after you stay. You can't cancel unless 14 days ahead, otherwise they just charge you the entire rate.. that doubled when you arrive. They double the rate after you arrive and act like they don't know what happened; Knocked off 40$ and asked if you are happy? I would be happy if the price didn't change. I'm sorry your season was slow, but I clearly was up charged to make up for it.I would recommend finding one of the many many other options in the area that will be better and cost you less. If you do decide to stay, have them print/e-mail the entire cost before you arrive and read the cancellation policy carefully.

We're in town for a wedding and stayed two nights. Very friendly staff. Nice location. Very clean rooms. Only downside were the mattresses were a little old and left a bit to be desired. Overall great stay and would definitely stay there again.

Highly dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted. These people are putting out their own reviews. I recently stayed there over the weekend 6/1/2018. Before booking please read everything. They do not give you back the deposit. Therefore you pay a deposit + your nightly stay. I have never stayed at a cabin or resort where your deposit is not returned. I was also charged immediately upon checking in. Cabin is cute but the beds were so hard that my husband and I will be needing an adjustment with our chiropractor.

Very reasonable & nice! The cabins are stocked with the basics (but bring dish soap & salt/pepper!) to save money on a few meals. They were accomodating to my 2 dogs for a small fee...I appreciate that & act very responsibly for that privledge. I would recommend!

My mom, sister, husband, and I came up to Door County for a relaxing weekend and found Journeys End online, because we were looking for a cabin. We drove up late on a Friday, it was a little difficult finding the office at night, partly because it was obstructed from view behind a camper. The owners are extremely friendly and very accommodating. We stayed in the Pine Cabin, that we loved! We had an overhead loft, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchenette, refrigerator with small freezer, microwave, couch, dining table, TV with cable and dvd player, and so much more! The one thing we were unaware of was that we couldnt drive up to the cabin to unload, so the owners did have wagons to load up and take down to the cabins, at 11 pm we were kind of having the phrase, "you're kidding me right?" But it wasnt that bad of a walk, just a few feet and we unloaded very quickly. When we went to charge our devices for the next day, there are two outlets where the top outlet was not working. We really had a great time and are already planning to come back for a week rather than just a weekend! Definitely recommend!

Andrew, the owner of journey's end was an absolute pleasure and very professional. As an avid Coca-Cola drinker he had an old fashioned Coke machine, with a model of it in his lobby. He was kind courteous very professional and I recommend journeys and to anyone who wants to stay in Door County.

We're lucky enough to spend a beautiful spring weekend there. We have enjoyed this spot before, but it's even more appreciated as a getaway in the time of covid. A vacation without feeling like you're sharing space with strangers is an extra relief.

Basic & clean. The rooms are very basic but they are very clean. The rooms are a pretty dated. Beds are quite stiff and old. It was the cheapest room in town, so you get what you pay for. The owner was nice enough.

We lucked out finding this place four days before our visit. We stayed in one of the motel rooms last night and found the place to be spotlessly clean and cozy. It's off the beaten path, very peaceful, parking right next to your door, and the owners add some nice touches, such as everything ready to go in the firepit (which we sadly didn't have time to enjoy). This is a true mom-and-pop place run by people who care about good service and keeping things looking nice. We loved the stay and would definitely stay again!Things to note: This is a typical Door County motel...cute, charming, well-kept, however not a big city hotel. Towels and soap are provided, along with clean bedding. Bring your own hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner :)

We have been staying with the owners, the Beckers, for me years then I can remember. Clean rooms, smiling faces, within walking distance to downtown.

It was terrible the pillows don't feel like pillows, the air conditioner was noisy, the WiFi is terrible, and the beds need to be replaced.
