Cool supper club that hosts live music with a massive bar on the lake. Fair drinks and ‘ok’ food.Food: I got the salmon. Girlfriend got the whitefish. Salmon was fishy and the white fish was ok. I wouldn’t get either again. The sides were nothing to rave about either. I would not consider food here again.Service: quick and helpful.Atmosphere: definitely the strongest point here. They have an old-timey supper club feel (albeit no active salad bar to actually be defined as a supper club) right on the lake. The table seating is nice. The massive wrap around bar that is elevated above the dining area is pretty cool. A stage for live music is adjacent to the bar.Mediocre given the price of food. Would only suggest stopping for a drink during live music.

This is a great super club experience. We had the shrimp cocktail, a couple of wines, ribs, duck and the prime rib special. The view is amazing and I feel like I’m stepping back in time. Attentive service and everyone is friendly. We’ve been coming for years and plan on doing so in the future.

Among the supper clubs that we have enjoyed thru the years, Florian II is among the best. The bread tray served with our meals was an entire whole (mini) loaf of fresh bread. The Surf n Turf was more like two meals than one - five tasty butterflied shrimp plus a healthy sized ribeye that was cooked to a perfect medium. The bar design is beautiful, and the views of Lake Michigan from the solarium delightfully enhanced the dining experience (we even caught a rainbow).

Great supper club atmosphere from 60 years in business. The bar when you walk in is huge. Very cozy atmosphere and great views of the shore when you're seated. I got the walleye which was fresh and delicious. My husband got the Duck that was mostly moist but dry in spots but overall good. The only negatives were the bread brought to the table that was actually stale but we didn't make a big deal out of it and the salad that comes with the meal is very small for a supper club meal, but other than that it was a good meal and pleasant experience. The waiter was a real character. Had us laughing. A real locals kind of place.

Great atmosphere. Currently open on the weekends. Great piano player singer highly recommend white fish in the ribsJust returned for the third time, hubby had the duck and it was exquisite. I had the walleye was fantastic. Cocktails were pier supper club

It doesn’t get much better than this. From the ginormous thrust bar to the water view dining seats, the ambiance is 100% Wisconsin Supper Club all the way. They have a wide array of signature cocktails which made a nice start to the experience. My wife had the walleye and I had to have the signature ribs. A nice feature here is that they have a light side menu if you don’t want the normal large portion, but you still get the small warm loaf of bread to go with. It was awesome. For desert, we headed back to the bar and split a delicious Pink Squirrel and enjoyed the live music as we did. Excellent, wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back.

Loved the restaurant, the view, the atmosphere, the waitstaff, the live entertainment! The food was meh. The steak was cooked perfect but the sides were small and didn't include a veggie. Steak could have used some herb butter or sauce. Would have liked a classic pickle/veggie tray,common in super clubs. Would like to see a NA beer option on the menu. Overall, we'll be back but will order more sides.

One of the better options found in eastern end of Door County, where it is a bit quieter than the western end of touristy area. Old school atmosphere with wide array of cocktails, solid menu including dessert. The interior deco and glassware reminds one of what supper club would’ve been like half a century ago. Located in main commercial area of Bailey’s Harbor, it is walking distance to other interesting establishments (bar, coffee shop, brewery, etc) and public library.

If you like a traditional Wisconsin supper club, this place is for you! Our food was wonderful and the atmosphere was so cute! We had a window table with a beautiful lake view. We were on our honeymoon, when we ate here. Our server was so sweet and brought us cake on the house and serenaded us while we ate. The restaurant was busy and our service was great!

This is a fantastic Wisconsin Supper Club. If some of these reviews give you pause, ignore them! This place is the real deal. Last night they had a great Cocktail Piano player, The bar staff were super fun and welcoming, our waitress was super charming, the views were amazing, and the food was great! I had the ribs, and my wife had the whitefish. Over all 5 stars... Some people don't understand supper clubs, don't understand what to expect from supper clubs. This place is great and we will be back!

Florian supper club has a great neon sign. It leads you to expect more than what you're likely to get. The interior is dark as a theme. 50 60s kind of decor doesn't seem to have changed much. Drinks are significantly overpriced. Food is on the high end and not all that great. Service when we were there was okay. I wouldn't give it a five star but it was okay. But then again in Bailey's harbor there's just not a whole lot of choices. I'm guessing that is a supper club. It's just trying to stay afloat. So take whatever money you can get wherever from the tours crowd because when they leave I'm thinking it's pretty sparse

This place is so cute and has great views. Sadly this is overshadowed by a lackluster dinner and service. Small portions. Not a typical supper club at all. Service was sooo slow, even the hostess was helping our waitress. I couldn’t tell if she was new or just couldn’t handle how many tables she had. Definitely seems like this place is cutting a ton of corners and trying to stay afloat.

Went here with my girlfriend and another couple we're friends with last night and it was the worst supper club I've been to. Charged me $10 for a summer shandy which was a rip, small salads and stale bread, and my friends wife got a ribeye which was awfully undercooked. Then on top of that, the owner yelled at us for being near the water afterwards. Definitely not visiting again

Loved the authentic Wisconsin Supper Club experience! My whitefish was delicious the lighter fare was a fantastic option for my mother who doesn’t eat much. The homemade bread was great. Been coming to Door County for years but never ventured to the Florian II. The view was beautiful. Service was great. Can’t wait to go back.

Update: I hate to do this but the portions have been greatly reduced and I mean GREATLY reduced since we visited last year. I mean, unacceptably reduced. Like, all the men in our party left hungry. A super small portion of fries as a side and the perch was a ridiculously small portion. Unfortunately we won't be returning.Ok, this is the second time we visited and we really enjoyed this place both times and recommend it!! I had the fried shrimp, (juicy, large, flavorful shrimp with light breading and a baked potato both times, my husband had the perch and the ribs, my sons had the crab stuffed shrimp and the walleye. We all thought it was delicious. We loved the atmosphere, the view, the service. Salads come with dinner and warm bread which were both great. One time we came we ordered a creamy chicken soup which was delicious. Our male waiter last night was incredibly warm and happy and sociable. Great place, definitely recommend to others!

We were very disappointed with the long wait time (longer than we were told). The service was not good - our server didn't seem to care about or take time with us. The food was only so-so with small portions. The bread seemed stale. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. We won't go there again.Parking: Of course it is tourist season so parking is difficult. Free street parking a couple blocks from the restaurant.

Wonderful supper club experience! The cherry vinaigrette dressing for the salads was delicious! Waitress was very attentive and friendly. The lite fare options on the menu were perfect and a great deal! The after dinner specialty ice cream drinks were a special treat. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening!

I went here because I enjoy history and a blast from the past. Anyone on here who gives it a bad review because it’s dated, well, yeah, that’s part of the charm of these places. No issues there; it was right out of the ‘70s and had a cool vibe. That said, it was fairly average. The $12.95 early bird specials on the web are $14.95 once you walk in, so they are not keeping their online menu current. It was also $12.95 in the 2021 Door County dining guide. Supper clubs are known for a big portion of simple food done extremely well. I expected the early bird to be the same, with a smaller portion. Unfortunately, the “extremely well” didn’t exactly apply. Not bad, but nothing to tell anyone about. The walleye was merely average. Not super flavorful. Then I looked at the back of the fish, and it had tiger stripes. I’ve never seen a walleye with tiger stripes. It wasn’t perch…literally looked like tiger stripes. It came with fries, albeit not too many, and a lonely piece of broccoli with two florets. Glad I didn’t go upmenu and get something more pricey. Mediocre piano entertainment could have been left out without hurting anything.

Early dinner. Staff was attentive almost to the point of harassing, taking bread plate away before we were done and asking to fill our water glass every five minutes. My husband had the broasted chicken which he enjoyed. I ordered the gulf shrimp $24.95. Six tails and I could barely eat three.They were extremely overcooked, tough and rubbery. I told the waitress and said she should make the cook aware. No offer for reduction in meal, free drink, or even an apology. The portions and sides are skimpy for the price. Disappointing meal.

My wife and I went to dinner tonight. They were out of crab legs, which was fine, we had a pretty good dinner. After spending $150, we decided to go to their bar after dinner for a couple ice cream drinks, and the owner refused to make them. They have a drink menu with 8 ice cream drinks, but he refused. Ruined our night. We went to the Greenwood super club, and the guy made them no questions asked. We won't be back to the Florian II.

A nice experience overall with several options available for dinner. We had steaks and they were both cooked to our order which was nice. The only thing that was a bit challenging to comprehend was how a Wisconsin supper club didn’t have cheese. We asked for it on our salads, hash browns, and baked potato but we were told “there’s nothing on the menu with cheese so we don’t even stock it.” Kind of odd in Wisconsin.

Gracious welcome to beautful dining room with view of water. Varied menu, including less expensive early-bird menu. Delicious walleye and baked potato with salad with cherry vinaigrette. Ribs also get high marks! Perfect place to dine with family! Can't wait to go back!

We ordered the shrimp cocktail they were under cooked and rubbery. Things didn't get better, we ordered the Walleye dinner which is a Wisconsin specialty, it was not. Ours was room temp and 3 small skinny pieces. The Florian is advertised as a Supper club,, we were very disappointed.

Had a throwback evening at the Florian. The restaurant has a very old school vibe. It took me back to when I was a kid in 1980. I had some local door county wine before dinner and a brandy Alexander for my dresser. Tasty retro dessert drink. The menu is limited and very traditional supper club. If you like meat and potatoes, this place is for you. If you are looking for a creative dinner, go elsewhere. There were four of us at dinner and three had the ribs and potatoes. They all said the ribs were tasty and falling off the bone. Aside from a salad, no veggie is served with the ribs...just a potato. As a vegetarian, there's really nothing on the menu. Which, really is behind the times. I had a side salad, a very small baked potato and a small side of veggies. That was fine, but nothing great. The waitress suggested fried mushrooms for dinner since it was one of the few non-meat appetizer options. Overall, I really like the old school vibe and the retro drinks and atmosphere. The supper club entrees are basic but good. Just don't expect anything creative or wish to be accommodated if you have a special dietary preference. I was a little surprised how small the potato and veggies were for my vegetarian meal.

Ordered a beverage at our table and asked the waitress for a garnish of mushrooms. She wanted to know why I wanted fungus in my drink! Drink was small, pricey, and weak. The bread at the table was stale. The T Bone tasted rancid around the edges, and was tough. Atmosphere was great, but we were all sweating being they sat us in a glass room were we could not feel any air conditioning. Portions of food were small and everything was pricey.
