Food was amazing. We came from over an hour away, thought the name of the place was cool and where excited for the food.I hope others experiences are better than mine as far as service. Manager gave me a to go Box, I was trying to box up my sides and the waitress comes over and tells me "You can't take home the fish. It's all you can eat, not all you can take home." Now I would understand if I ordered a bunch of fish (for the AYCE walleye) and was trying to box it up, but I had 2 pieces I was about to split with my friends when I was told that. Simple "Per policy we can't do take home on the fish" would have been fine... like it's not my first time having AYCE and I've been to a buffet before... idk it was patronizing and just kind of ruined the good mood we where in. I could just be sensitive but overall no other complaints. The food was amazing, the decor was awesome.:D

We saw other reviews about how good the food was and the service. We certainly echo the same. From the picture, my wife had the half rack ribs and I had the all you can eat grouper. We started with breaded mushroom appetizer. All of our food was prepared perfectly, fantastic taste and came extreme fast, even with the place being packed! Our server, Melissa, was excellent. She had great recommendations, took time to be cordial and friendly even with the amount of tables she had to take care of. We would highly recommend eating here!

This place is definitely one of our best poorly kept secrets! We stumbled upon it by accident about 6 years ago and now we can't get enough! Our only place on Friday nights. The fish fry (w/ their unique tartar sauce) is excellent, ribs are fantastic, and their desserts are heavenly! Eat indoors or outdoors if the weather permits. The rustic appearance and lake views create a relaxing atmosphere. A lot of locals as well as us frequent out of towners keep this place busy, so expect a wait because most of us who go there don't want to leave!! The bar is the center of the action and the dining area surrounds it. The owners are super people and usually always around during peak times, adding to the ambiance. Even my parents, well into their 80's, rave about it and can't wait to go back!Parking: Parking is anywhere you find a spot. The conventional spots fill up fast. After that, it's along the road, between trees, anyplace that legally holds a car!Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp up the left side of the front entrance.

Incredibly disappointing experience! This joint was highly recommended by a couple of locals, but if you're not local I would avoid this place at all cost. Extremely rude & lousy service. Food was only okay but very expensive. For a family of three, without appetizers or desserts it cost of over $100. Don't be fooled by the appearance, stay far, far away!

Absolutely delicious food. It took a little while for the waitress to get to us but it was really busy. And after she got to us it was really quick service. The food was great! The ribs are on point. Got to get a new drink and highly recommend it. They also have a great yard area with games and such to keep you busy while waiting. Hope to come back again!

We've known about the Tuesday "wink wink" special now for several years. Until moving to Door County last year, it just didn't work out. Well, we finally made it, and we must say the pot pie was spectacular. First timers see it, and want one, but you generally have to reserve them ahead of time.Shout out to our server, Diane, she was great! A very enjoyable dinner all around and one our favorite restaurants in the county.

We stopped here for our 2nd time ever. We had a blast with the bartender and her name escapes me. We had a couple beverages and my wife and I had the Grouper sandwich which was really good. Lots of history up here in DC especially at the Roadhouse. Check out a Door County Trolley tour for more stories. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. A definite must stop place in Door County.

Beautiful tavern style restaurant in an old rustic Door County farmhouse. Our server and all the staff were very friendly and made sure we got what we wanted. I ordered the perch sandwich. It was pretty good texture wise, but I think the fish and buns could use a little more seasoning/flavor. I did try their reuben, which was very tasty. Definitely a worthy dinner stop if you’re in Jacksonport!

After a beautiful day exploring door county. We were in need of some good nourishment. We had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant. It was busy but we didn't mind. With not a long wait we sat at the bar. Amanda made us feel right at home.We enjoyed the delicious ribs and chili. After dinner we sat outside where dogs are allowed on the grass. They do serve food and drinks on a patio. They also have some tables in the grassy area if you want to dine with your dog by your side!I will definitely be back. What a view and what a meal 🤤❤

Recently had our annual Door County trip with two great couples friends and we all wanted to try a new place for dinner and decided on Coyote Roadhouse and we were glad we did! It’s a super cool bar/restaurant with very friendly staff and phenomenal food! We were seated quickly, waited on quickly, and the food arrived surprisingly fast all the while of them being busy too. We drove across from the Egg Harbor side and it was worth the little extra drive. We will be back in the future!

It was very busy the rainy evening my family went, but the service was great and they had accommodations for our son to sit in a high chair since he has special needs and usually will not eat much table food. The staff was very friendly and the young lady waitress was sociable and even interacted with my kids to make them feel welcome. The food was delicious and we did not have to wait long for it. Their steak was amazing! I also highly recommend trying their Cherry Margaritas to get the full Door County experience. We will be back again for sure!

This place was the highlight of our trip to door county!!! All of our food was amazing!!! Highly recommend! Saddest part was knowing our leftovers wouldn't make it home with our long drive back.... whole staff was super friendly and attentive..... can't wait to come back wearing our souvenir t-shirts!!

Loved the chill vibes. The waitress was awesome. She recommended the ribs. They were tender and fell of the bone. I felt like was in a family members backyard. It's out in country next to kangaroo lake so sitting outside at night late September was a bit cooler than I had planned so bring a jacket

If you have little kids I'd wait to sit outside, but food is great and inside would've been great too if it was just adults. They have yard games, Beach volleyball, chairs for chilling by the pretty water, and a tree swing. The cherry margarita was delicious, couldn't taste the tequila, but it wasn't sweet which shows they use real cherry juice so I didn't mind and ordered a second. Friday night grouper was really good. Fresh and lightly breaded and crispy. I finally got the rare burger I've been asking for, thank you cooks!!! Clam fries were a great small appetizer for a small price. Good tap list. Service was awesome. We'll definitely keep it on our regular places for future trips.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor games, kid menu, crayons.

This was a really nice place to sit outside after a long hike at the ridges. They have potosi rootbeer on tap which is my all time favorite rootbeer. We had burgers, wings, and a quesadilla. The kids were happy with their food and were filled up. My burger didn't come with a pickle but I got to steal theirs. The view over Kangaroo Lake is outstanding. The beer selection is very good. The food is fine but not the reason I would go. Great service.Parking: They have a lot for easy parking.Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids but no fries. Chips or applesauce.
