I miss the old style of this store. Before, everything was nice and open. Now, it's like I am walking into a big city. Everything is so close, and it feels like the walls are caving in on me. I just can't go shopping anymore without my anxiety going through the roof. I moved here to get away from the big city, not have it follow me

Once again there were only self check outs open only this time the girl watching the customers do the work she should be doing walked up to my screen and started pushing buttons on the screen. She never spoke a word to me even after I asked what was wrong. Never said excuse me, just bullied her arm in front of me and started pushing buttons on the screen. Then walked away and started digging in the trash can.Then I tried calling to talk to the manager and no one answered the phone.Walmart is the worst store for customer service that there is.

Remodeling in progress. Not good. The aisles are staggered making it almost impossible to look for my husband!!! Also, there were no manned checkouts open. They also discontinued bolt fabrics. It seems that every time they "improve" the store, they have less and less selection.

Ashland Walmart is going through some major renovations. Walmart employees were available and very kind to help customers navigate the floor plan. There’s a noticeable improvement in friendly and happy employees. (Acknowledging your presence ) It sure makes a comfortable and pleasant environment for customers! Not a fan of self checkout as I still write checks. Hope to see more cashier lanes open in the future. Overall, Ashland Walmart is doing their best to give our community that small town experience. Well done.

Descent Walmart generally, but as of late (Feb 2024) the produce has been poor quality. Much of it is close to spoiling and many leafy types were wilting severely.I appreciate their prices, but prefer to buy produce elsewhere these days.

As Wal Marts go, this one us huge! As always, great assortment of value prices stuff. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful, shelves were full and we were able to get in and out quickly.

This shelf display basically sums up the appearance of the ashland, WI Walmart. Not all shelves are this bad. The grocery departments are always clean. But this is not an uncommon site to find in this Walmart. Empty boxes just laying around, trash, merchandise all over the place, unpacked freight boxes clearly left there by an employee. A sloppy store doesn’t make for a pleasant shopping experience, especially when shopping for holiday decor. I’ve seen this ( minus the trash) in multiple departments in this store- generally messy and unkept. I realize this Walmart might be short handed and it’s the holiday busy season. But I think more effort can be applied as this is not just a “busy season” sight in this particular Walmart.

This place is a joke! Crabby workers with no knowledge what so ever. Have to self check out, and there's 3 to 5 workers standing around doing absolutely nothing but looking at a phone. I hate this Walmart more and more every time I go in there.

I only go because the card used can only be used there. Otherwise, I dread walmart. Rude workers are part of time, having to do scanning and bagging cause they don't hire people, and then they have the nerve to ask for a rating or to see receipt

They seem to always have stuff in the aisle ways for someone that's handicapped is difficult to get around! But yet their shelves are not fully and they never have what you need! I usually end up going to Ashland Walmart for things other than food! They have a broader selection!! The bathrooms are bad!!🤢🤮

Great selection fruits and vegetables. Checkout was geared toward self-check out but not effective with a careful. An employee stayed after her shift done to help the long line.

This Walmart is always well stocked except in the produce department. Lately the shelves have been cleaned out. Otherwise expect the store to be busy and chaotic. To make matters worse they never have enough cash registers open. The last visit I had to check out $200 worth of groceries at the express checkout...otherwise I would have been 5 carts deep in a checkout line.

The Ashland Walmart is super chill. Everybody was friendly. It was well stocked, clean, and all was configured in such a way to be highly conducive to a majorly pleasant shopping experience. Thank you Ashland, you’re the best.

Great selection of things we need. Sure, it lacks a lot but that is what internet shopping is for. Grocery section is ok and has good fresh food. The staff is great!! We enjoy shopping here.Edit / addition after 8 months of experience:It’s not that the workers are not doing well, it’s that there aren’t enough and that’s why some things are lacking… especially in the food area. I can’t even count the expired/rotting items I found and/or bought by mistake. It’s my fault for being tricked but… why are they even on the shelf? Week-old expired stuff and best by dates. Is that even legal? Come on Ashland, let’s do things better! Let’s show who we are and what we are made of. If we can make aisles pristine and our attitudes wonderful… we can also keep our food good for purchase. I love this area very much and depend on this business a lot for groceries and needs. I know it’s worth my trust, so let’s keep that good and mutually beneficial customer-business bond I and all others need to have.The vibe of the place is very friendly and workers go waaaaaay beyond what you expect in helping. That’s perhaps the most wonderful thing about Ashland in general.

I appreciate this store is open at 6 am but please be in the know that the garden center is not. Disappointed because I drove 40 miles to purchase something in the garden center.Very friendly associate but couldn’t give me a time someone would be in to open it up. Except it would be sometime after 7am.

This place is such a joke lol, I'm surprised customers haven't gotten paid yet for stocking the shelves for the workers. Every time I come in, there's an extremely poor selection of sports equipment, especially tennis balls. I asked if they had some in the back and they go "look" for 30 seconds and say they don't have any and don't seem to have a clue when they'd have more ordered. This seems to be exclusively the afternoon/night shift workers as when I've gone in the morning, I've received amazing assistance from stockers and register workers. One particular associate, Mckayle, has always been there in the mornings I go in and is such an extreme help. And funny enough, the day after I was told there were no tennis balls, she found like half a truck load that had been laying waste in the back.

Force us to use self checkout lanes.Fine if few items, painful with full shopping cart of groceries. Tiny area to put items from cart then tiny area to bag with cheap bags that tear. Asked employee if a Lane would open, he played dumb then just walks away. I refuse to shop here if no cashiers on duty and since 70 miles round trip to shop, will only go here if in area, then only few items...
