This is the perfect place to rest your head. The rooms are very clean and updated. The beds are so comfortable and the sheet are so welcoming, they smell so fresh. We come to the area a lot. There is so much to do in the area. There is something to do for every age. I highly recommend this Inn. We always enjoy our stay.Rooms: They have everything you need . Very clean.Nearby activities: Make sure you walk down town and enjoy all the history.Safety: We feel very safe when we stay here . The view is pretty nice also.

This is one of those places you get lucky and find the perfect place to stay. The rooms are newer, large and very clean. We have been stopping there for years. The bait and gift shop building out front is great for adults and kids. The Employees are great people. We have never had a problem there.Rooms: Perfect.

We drove here from South Carolina to spend time with our friends and family. We didn't know what to expect, but we're absolutely pleasantly surprised by EVERYTHING! The place is so super cozy. It was done in a woodsy, majestic, and country setting. From the real wood bed frames to the lighted mirrors in the bathroom it was perfect. The pillows would be my only complaint if I was looking for one. They weren't what we were used to, but it was still quiet and comfortable in every way. We really enjoyed being able to wake up to water across the street and being right down the road from everything we needed! We would highly recommend this place to anyone. Loved it!! ❤️

We launch at Red Ciff, but when we get in late, we try to stay here. It's minimally more expensive than some other motels in town, but the rooms are much nicer and the personnel are excellent. Highly recommended.Rooms: Very clean, commodious and comfortable. Well furnished, nice beds and linens. Big bathroom, good water pressure. Mini fridge. Ice available. Nice people. Places to park truck & trailer.

My husband and I stayed here for one night at the end of our two-week road trip from Toronto. After sleeping in a new place every night, from Airbnbs, hotels, motels, etc., I honestly wasn't looking forward to staying here. Based solely on the name and all of the other motels we had stayed in, I was expecting some rundown, dirty, mismatched, bug-filled room. I was so wrong. This is the nicest hotel I have ever seen! Check in was easy, the room was extremely clean, spacious, tasteful, and well appointed. I would absolutely stay here again!Sidenote- the downtown area had quite a few things to do. While walking, a random woman pulled her car up to let us know about all of the beautiful mosaics in the area and a nice spot to walk to for the sunset. This was all because she saw me taking some photos and wanted to share things that she loved about her town. A very nice place to spend some time.

The Inn was completely above out expectations and we were so pleasantly suprised at how wonderful it was. We were greated by a very friendly gentleman at the bait shop, who go us checked into our room. The bait shop was clean and had extensive fishing supplies covering all your needs. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable, with extra hidden touches. We chose the location becuase we wanted to stay somewhere with some personality, and this place has a lot of that. Would highly recommend it and will definitely go back!

The shop is cool! We bought smoked, cured and fresh fish. It is caught and stocked daily. The salesman was friendly. They have live bait as well as other things you would need for a fishing trip. They also have souvenirs! We enjoyed shopping here.

Hotel was very clean and very spacious. Very impressed with the upkeep both inside and the grounds outside! Very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the road was noisy but would definitely book again!

Excellent place to stay in Ashland. The rooms are great. Cute decor and comfortable rooms. I always love a shower with great water pressure and one that is tall enough that I don't need to do the limbo to wash my hair! I highly recommend this place!!!

Given COVID-19 the room set up was ideal, the location amazingly close to EVERYTHING, rooms cozy/comfortable/and clean...all topped off with great genuine local hospitality! My family just started a new family tradition and it includes staying in this exact place for years to come!!!🙌🏼💯👍

Place is great. Clean, reasonable priced . Great make over ,vwe use to stay way back before remodel. Was dumpy, now it's new and fresh. Friendly staff, 1 of only motels that still will allow dogs for 45.00 per night (bit steep) non refundable .

In town for work, stayed overnight. Nicely decorated room, huge bathroom and shower, strong hot shower, in room mini kitchen. Friendly and accommodating staff. The bed and pillows however, were hard and flat. Woke up all sore. An industrial complex across the road makes a loud noise every so often, kept me awake. Lovely area though, OK place to stay

Very nicely updated rooms. The double king had a lot of space and the bathroom was huge. Very clean. The only issue we had was that the front door locked automatically and we were in and out a lot. It could have been bad if we would have locked ourselves out and there is no 24 hour front counter. Great value.

Honestly speaking, this was one of my favorite motel rooms I've ever stayed in. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet despite the busy road it's on. Overall, the room more than met our expectations.Bonus: they have beachcomber bikes guests can use at no additional cost!

The hotel is really nice but hopefully you won't need to get any place on time! We arrived around 3pm and our room was not yet ready, it was after 4pm before we could get into our room. Our friends room was not yet ready as of 5pm. They need more help in the house cleaning dept! Then my friends room had a handful of dirty cleaning rags in the shower when they finally did get to use the room. Other wise the hotel was really nice.

I feel like this is a good place.. I'm a local, and stop in frequently. However every single time I call in asking about bay reports or fish movement, I get the same answer... A simple "yep" or they say they haven't heard anything. When I stop for bait in the morning on the weekends with the crowd.. they have no problem telling others where it's been good, usually the older gents. It may be age discrimination idk. I'm just trying to put my son on fish action, and I can only do so much alone. I feel like most bait shops nowadays, are more interested in money, rather than the fishing community.

Don't let the "Bait Shop" name scare ya! Such a cool place! Everything here is well appointed.... from absorbent towels to 5 star comfortable beds & oh my the pillows....slept like a baby. Free bikes to ride, great view. The staff is way helpful. Get a reservation though...they fill up!
