This place is awesome! I had to travel through the area for work and found that Ashland would be a good mid-point for the day. My Elsa is an extremely social GSD and loves to play with other dogs and be outside. The staff was great. She was well cared for and enjoyed her day. She was wiped out when I picked her up and slept the entire ride home! Pretty sure she was disappointed this morning when she had to stay home.Looking for excuses to bring her back again. Thank you Violet and staff. You made this business trip an easy one for the two of us.

I recommend this place yet I wouldn’t if your dog has specific requirements. This place is very clean and is strict about only bringing dogs if they’re healthy/up to date. It’s also convenient that the vet and grooming is at the same building. However, I wouldn’t recommend if your dog needs medication/any special needs. On multiple occasions our dog hasn’t eaten breakfast and we’ve brought a baggie of food and asked to feed him later in the day, and they always promise to but give us our full bag of food back at the end of the day and say they didn’t do it. Our dog also comes home everyday and drinks water so fast he gets sick, making me wonder if they let every dog drink throughout the day. Some days the opening employee hasn’t showed up, making us late for work. We still bring our dog because it’s really the only reputable and clean place, but sometimes it’s frustrating.

After bringing my dog to other day cares in the area. I will only bring my dog here now for daycare. They have you fill out paper work about your dog. They do a trial run to see how they will get along with other dogs. Staff is friendly and knows what they are doing. There's a indoor play area, and an outdoor play area with a kiddy pool of water. They let you check out their facility before you leave your dog. My dog came home from a diff place in town with scratches all over him, he came home and chugged a bowl of water. You could tell he was in a kennel all day. Bay area takes care of your dogs as if they were your own. This is the only place I would recommend.

I was an out-of-town visitor who was up in Ashland for a work event. I chose to bring my pup along so we could make a short trip out of it and explore the area. BAPSR let me bring my dog to daycare on the day of the work event so she didn’t have to stay cooped up in a hotel room all day. The vet himself even took the time to speak with me about my dog and her upcoming experience at their facility. I called halfway through the day of my work event to check in and the staffperson gave me a wonderful detailed update on my dog, and when I picked her up at the end of the day, I wasn’t even charged since they considered that day a “free daycare evaluation” day. I understand this may be their usual policy, but with my situation as an out-of-towner, they certainly could have charged and chose not to. I am very impressed with the quality of service this place provides and I sure as heck would come again if my pup and I return to the area. Thanks BAPSR for a great experience for both me and my dog!!

Extremely expensive compared to other clinics in the surrounding area. Veterinarian has an attitude. He wanted to amputate my dogs toe cause I had mentioned another vet had said something about doing that cause she didn't have the equipment to grind down bone spurs, and then said we might even have to amputate her front leg. And he said all this after taking xrays and saying he could take care of the bone spurs on toe. But as soon as I mentioned the other vet, They all stick together, then it was oh yeah amputate the toe and possible the leg. I wouldn't recommend him to work on a dead frog found on the road. His prices are double of what everybody else charges. $107.00 for an xray that everyone else gets $58.00 for. Got to pay for that pretty new building somehow.
