I got my first tattoo in 10 years today and it was done by Hailey. She did a wonderful job with her work and explaining aftercare. The staff there is also excellent and is open to answering to questions. The shop is also a clean and relaxing place to be in. I am looking forward to my next experience with WeMeraki.

Absolutely phenomenal artists & atmosphere. WeMeraki is such a welcoming comfortable vibe, especially for receiving a tattoo. I had Kaycie as my artist and she is one of the most caring, compassionate people and was so enjoyable to spend time with while receiving my tattoo. I have over 50+ hours of tattoos but this was my first one from Kaycie and I couldn't believe how gentle she was, I have my next sessions scheduled already!Cleanliness: Very sanitary & welcoming!

I recently had a tattoo done by Emily, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I had been referred to her based on her reputation as an up and coming artist with a knack for spooky tattoos. However, what I received was an elementary design that left me feeling taken advantage of.When I arrived for my appointment, I was shown the design for my tattoo, but I was not given any opportunity to provide input or make alterations. This lack of flexibility was disappointing, as I had hoped for a more personalized and unique tattoo.Furthermore, the price I was charged for the tattoo was exorbitant. With a total cost of over $700, including a tip, I now realize that I should have questioned the amount. However, I also expected the person handling the transaction to be knowledgeable about fair pricing for the work done. It is disheartening to think that I was overcharged for a design that fell short of my expectations.Upon closer inspection of the tattoo, I noticed several glaring flaws. Emily's attention to detail seemed to be lacking, as her hands were larger than her face, and the crown she had included did not fit her head properly. Moreover, the lines were etched so deeply into my skin that I ended up scabbing over afterward, causing unnecessary discomfort and prolonged healing.In hindsight, I should have been more assertive in expressing my concerns and seeking alterations or corrections before the tattoo was completed. However, it is also important for artists to listen to their clients and ensure their satisfaction throughout the process.Overall, my experience with Emily's tattoo design was disappointing. I would caution others considering her services to thoroughly communicate their expectations, question the pricing, and be prepared for potential issues with the final result.

Sick of the dark dingy tattoo shops? The tattoo artists that talk smack about their previous client and are bound to talk about you after you leave? This shop is polar opposite. Well lit, big open space, great people, no smack talk about the previous appointment. Plants all over the place. This place is filled with life! I absolutely love going into this shop to get tattooed by the lovely Hailey Moore! She is a great artist as all of their artists there are! If you're lucky they even have a shop dog named gator who is an awesome pup! 5 out of 5 stars. If I could give more I would. Highly recommend checking this shop out!

Steven did a wonderful job covering up a very old tattoo from 1982.This studio is impeccably clean and has the ambiance of an art, beauty and style studio.Don't think of this place as a tattoo parlor... it's much better and a very relaxing atmosphere as well!!Several fine artists to choose from!Steven was meticulous and enjoys small talk and informative if you have questions!!Highly recommend!!*Update five days later...The last tattoo is five days later after the ink tape was removed.I highly recommend prepping your skin with black seed oil up to two weeks prior to receiving your tattoo.Black seed oil is incredible stuff and was even used by the ancient Egyptians..Tattoo looks great!!

I’ve gotten two tattoos from here and Hailey did my last one. The vibes are awesome and welcoming and all the folks there are super kind and welcoming. I come from northern Illinois so it takes me about 2 hours to get there but it’s so worth it.

I was very nervous because it was my first tattoo and Hailey made me less nervous by talking to me through it and the process. The atmosphere was great also! Loved the songs they played in the shop. My daughters and I got matching tattoos done by Hailey yesterday and it was a fantastic experiencefrom start to finish. We had shown her a picture of what we wanted prior to the appointment. When we arrived, she had images already created for us to view, and then spent time adjusting colors and showing us possibilities (in the end, her initial colors/style is what we went with because they were MUCH better than anything I could have suggested!) She was informative about the process, patient, caring (regularly asked how we were doing and offered breaks if we needed them), spent time ensuring everything was hygienic, and was fun to be around! She is VERY creative & talented, and definitely someone I plan to go back to in the future!The shop is awesome as well! It isn't what I was expecting as it had been a long time since my last tattoo. Emailed at the beginning of June to set up an appointment. Couldn't get in till September. Okay that's fine. I get it. Meet with the artist who I will not name. Had it all planned out with said artist. Told me they were booked out till December. That's fine. During those 3 months. I reached out on the progress. I was lucky if I got a message back. 5 days before I was supposed to come in for tattoo, I get a message that they couldn't complete it and I should reconsider the design I want. I tried messaging back to ask if instead of coming in for the tattoo, if the artist and I could sit down and talk about it and get it figured out. They read my message and decided to ignore me. Very poor business practice. I will go spend my money somewhere, where my time is respected. Don't take a client, make then wait 3 months, then decide you were unable to do the tattoo. Thanks for the waste of time. **the artist didn't reply on my asking to come in and talk about the design. I got blatantly ignored when I tried to compromise on something going on MY skin permanently**

We called to see if they took walk-ins and if they did would they be able to get us in ASAP... they were able to fit us in! Everyone was friendly and made you feel comfortable. I was undecided about how I wanted my tattoo and Cody(Handsome Jack) was patient with me and we figured it out! He was amazing. Very happy with the artwork! The shop itself was very clean and open.

I had my tattoo completed today and am so beyond impressed with not only the tattoo completed by my artist, Jenny Helm, but the entire experience. The location is great, the atmosphere and talent is fantastic. Jenny was thorough in her work and knowledge and made sure everything was how I wanted it. She went through all of the aftercare thoroughly too which is always a great refresher. AND I got a beautiful tattoo! Definitely a win win.

I came here for waxing with Lisha. I've been following her wherever she goes. She's the best waxing person in town hands down, especially her eyebrow waxing skill. A group of friends of mine are her loyal followers. She listens well and attends to details. She's warm, cool, and super nice! I also had several facial with her as well. I always feel so comfortable and well taken care of with her. If you are new in town or looking for an awesome waxing/facial person, came here for Lisha! Then, consider getting a new hairstyle or tattoo here later :)
