I have gone here maybe 10 times in the year we have lived in Appleton. The prices are high in general. Almost every item is a dollar more per item even when on sale. Some sale items also don’t register when you scan them which is deceiving when the signs are up by the item when you pick it up.The machines used to be loud, but thankfully they turned the volume down. The wordage the machines use is very off putting though just demanding you put money in them and it doesn’t give you any time to get the next item before it’s nagging at you to hurry and scan the next item. They only use self check out at night which is annoying because being a mom of little kids I only have time at night to shop when my husband gets home if I want to go without kids. With self check out there isn’t enough room to put all the items I need to buy for a family, but if I start putting items in different spots the cameras go off and show video of me that looks like I’m stealing and the attendant has to come check the receipt and fix it before I’ve even tried to pay.For Mother’s Day my husband tried to get me nice things and got chocolate covered strawberries and a rose inside of a glass ball. The strawberries were leaking and rancid and we couldn’t eat them and the globe leaked water all over and smelled like Elmer’s glue. It’s very disappointing. It’s not the first time I’ve had bad fruit from there. I’m now firm on the idea that this particular Pick and Save is no good. I for sure won’t be buying produce here anymore. My husband always prefers Pick and Save over other grocery stores, but he is pretty convinced now as well about this location. It’s a shame because it’s the closest to us, but it’s just not worth any money you spend there. Half of the things I’ve bought here have just gone in the garbage.

With inflation running high on grocery prices, I have found that pick n save Appleton ( Calumet), has done a great job keeping our budget in line. We recently tried the breaded pork chops that were marked down...AMAZING!! Enjoy the friendliness of the employees as well. My buddy Eric and Michelle, Kathy and Neil.

I have been trying to get ahold of somebody at the store for a day. And a half now. The other day I bought tenderloin from the meat department. I cooked it and it had it overbearing taste of detergent/soap and was not edible. I'm not looking for a hand out or anything for free. I'm just trying to let somebody know And it is impossible to get a hold of anybody.

I absolutely love this Pic n Save's meat department. The meat is wonderful. The butcher is the best I've found around and it's the only grocery store I go to for steaks. Everything is fresh and cut perfectly. Andre' and Eric at the counter are always so friendly and helpful. You don't find that very often anymore. They always have a smile on their face and fill any special request I ask for. I even get some recipe tips from them! Great sales too!

Unbelievably long self checkout line which is a COMMON occurrence at a store that’s never really busy. No limit on # of items so customers with carts full will clog the line. Place is frequently short staffed which is a reflection on management and Kroger. Hate that this is the closest pick n save to me.

First time at this location, can't say enough about how great it is that they hire special needs workers who seem very happy and proud to be there. Store is super clean and beautiful, layed out awesome, well done Pick n Save.

lol this store is such a joke nowremodel made the aisles smaller, yet there's also somehow less products? also no item location guides anywhere so you just have to wander until you find what you're looking forself checkout lines are always horribly backed up and there's never any actual registers openservice desk is always closed due to staff shortagesI hope kroger as a company burns to the ground. Disgusting monopolistic practices are ruining grocery stores nation wide.

I buy our daughter's birthday cake here every year. Their chocolate with butter cream frosting can't be beat. The cake decorator can do most designs you bring in. She is such a sweet lady and has helped me with last minute orders a couple of times. I had a long wait the last time I was there to order a cake, the manager noticed and gave me a good deal on that cake. I liked his appreciation of my business.

Don’t call with questions. They’ll just hang up on you or disconnect the line. Worst service I’ve had at any pick n save. I just want to know they have a certain deli meat and I get hung on. I call directly to the deli and they can’t even answer whether they have it. Ugh

I live down the street from this Pick N Save and ANOTHER one and have for months now been buying meats that are rotten and foul smelling as soon as I open them from BOTH LOCATIONS. The expiration date is ALWAYS in the future, but the meat is rotten anyway. I am literally losing tons of money. This has not happened once or twice, but every time I go there is multiple things that are bad. The stores won't give you a refund if you don't BRING IN THE RAW, FOUL SMELLING FOOD which I dont always have time for and don't want to always do because....it's freaking gross and I don't want it anywhere near my car?? I don't know if they are continually having fridge problems or of they're buying from bad suppliers or buying older meats and just not dating them because inflation....but this is seriously unacceptable. I will no longer be buying from these stores. I will from now on go to local farmers only. I wont continue to waste my time and money here. Look for local farmers at the farmers markets instead.

Ordered flowers for prom. The white roses were brown and wilted. Flower attendant told me she ran out of glue so corsage was smaller than a regular corsage. Would not suggest ordering flowers for a special occasion. We had to go buy other ones because these looked so awful.

The location can't be beat. The produce is hit or miss for quality. Steaks, generally, are thin. Although, if meat department isn't busy you can request a different thickness. The checkouts can be a real nightmare. There are hardy ever enough registers open as customers are directed to self-checkout. With the prices being more on par with Festival Foods lately, recommend going there for ease of shopping, selection, and checkout.

I was just accosted by a female (Avery) for not addressing her as she would prefer ("pronouns"). I'm just living my life, enjoying all the variety at pick n save and here I am being reprimanded in the line, IN FRONT of other patrons, by this confused individual. How dare she?! RUDE is an understatement. If you want to live in a fantasy land that's your propagative, but DO NOT expect me to join you in the land of insanity. She was extremely out of line and it was sooo embarassing! She pointed at her "he/him" title under her name .. the whole interaction was just unreal!I really, really enjoy all the pick n saves but I will avoid this one at all cost. I don't want to run into that woman, Avery, EVER AGAIN.

I like shopping there till you have to deal with ANY employee. They’re rude when you ask questions like we’re supposed to know where the stuff is. I don’t work at a grocery store at age 40 so don’t degrade me cause I dont know where the ketchup is lol. Get a different job if you hate your life so much.

Had a very rude check out girl today. I could not see her name tag because her hair was covering it. Big girl, dark hair, some time between 9 & 11 am. She didn't even acknowledge us or interact as we were checking out... she just tossed the receipt on the counter.

No one at the checkout but 3 employees standing around at self checkout chatting with each other. I had a couple of questions but no one comes over to help. When I called out for help I got a cheeky response. Really poor customer service as they stand around chatting with each other but no one helps customers. Meanwhile prices go up and up

I came to this location to purchase groceries, I found what I needed and proceeded to the checkout. None of the checkouts allow mobile pay.... kind of dated considering the year is 2022. I then asked if I could enter payment information manually. The customer service manager said I could then pulled up a screen that asked for my phone number. When that didn't work I again asked what I needed to Do to pay with this method....do I need to go to a regular checkout line? She said I could download the Kroger app and upload money to a Kroger accout....LOL.... I guess my own payments (debit, or credit) won't suffice to their archaic methods.The register still did not allow me to pay. At this point I've been trying to pay for my groceries and leave for 30+ minutes.I then asked to speak with the next up manager as clearly this was not being resolved. I was told by the manager, Lyndsey Lawrence, that Kroger does not allow mobile pay, and they also do not allow anyone to manually enter card numbers, even if the card is with me.VERY FRUSTRATING! ..... I wonder why I was told several times that I could do those things when in fact I couldn't ...it would have been nice to be informed of their policies instead of being lied to and have almost an hour of my time wasted.Kroger, please update your policy from the stone age, and please properly train your staff to explain these policies to customers... instead of just making things up because they actually don't know what TF they are doing.YIKES. Definitely will not be back.

The guy behind where the roasted chicken is sold was not friendly. I walked to counter and he was standing and I thought he was waiting on something. NO how can I help you. Finally I said what I needed. He helped me. He was slow I thought. Thought he might say thank you but he said nothing. I did customer service for 20 years and he would not have worked for me.

I used to work at this store for about 6 months. Worst job ever. Trying to communicate with management was horrible. I called in one time and the manager gave me the guilt trip. Said I could lose my hljob if I didn't show up. I was hired for customer service desk, wasn't given the tools to do my job. Couldn't sign guests up for a perks card, wasn't given access to register people's car, or drop money into safe always had to ask a coworker. My boss knew I couldn't do these things but got mad every time I asked someone else to do it for me.

I like the cashiers and the closeout items. However if you shop before 8am there is not a single cashier "company rules" they only have cashiers after 8am. Until they start giving discounts for the self checkouts, I will not tolerate this company rule. When the bottom line is more important than keeping costumers happy, it's time to shop elsewhere.

I know several people that work for this company. WARNING: They basically are brainwashing their employees. Taken advantage, overworked to illegal extents. Too many times now have I been informed of them violating labor laws such as working +12 days in a row to understaffing departments. They have employees convinced that corporate is basically a God and there is nothing that they can do to get better treatment. They have departments that need extreme staffing help and none is provided. They insist on departments that don't need to open like click list or even hot deli to be operational at all times. These employees could be used elsewhere in their store to better moral and help staffing issues in other areas. Limiting days or shift times would be better than what they are doing to these poor staff members.

I worked for pick n save for 5 years it's been a mess for the last 2 yrs.I don't recommend working here I quit. Management never worked with what I felt about things it's like they didn't care I don't recommend working low pay and we are treated poorly and the negativity of employees always non-stop. I give this store a 1 rating because we people of employees shouldn't be treated like that...

One time handed my son a coupon for some weird icecream and me the rest of the coupons and made rude comment to him " Oh, you don't like ice cream"? when he didn't know how to react to that. Bagger kept saying "THANK YOU" louder and louder until I TURNED around said "YOUR WELCOME" when I was almost out of the store. He wouldn't shut up until I did that. Aren't you supposed to make the customers comfortable and want to shop at the store. I won't be back. Oddest experience I've ever had at a grocery store.

Went in to buy BBQ items and a case of beer with the family. Family went into self check out so they told me to go to another checkout since it requires an ID to purchase. I was almost to the cashier when this lady comes over and says she can help me pay at the desk. At first I was like oh wow how nice of her since I only had 1 item. Got to the desk and she starts pointing at the group I was with. I said oh yeah sure that’s my wife, aunt and my brother but 1 doesn’t have their ID. She told me she couldn’t sell me the alcohol which I was fine with but damn did I felt humiliated in front of the people who were around her. Crazy how I’m over 21+ and couldn’t even buy because I’m with a group who didn’t carry their ID. Wonder what happens to the parents with a toddler in the cart seat. Do they have to show ID too? Cause if they do then I guess we have to start leaving our kids sun bathe in the car. At least I know not to come to this pick n save anymore.
