Ordered a very large curbside order, yet the girl refused to bring out when called to check-in. She informed us "they don't do curbside" even though the website allows us to select curbside. So, we went in to pick up, This girl was rude and sadly, we realized on the drive and at home, our entire food order was trashed because it was bagged as rudely as the girl was. The sides containers piled high in one bag, many open and poured out, the other bags with entrees were also totaled, two were smashed due to a heavy entree being placed on top of smaller ones. The rest is questionable, not even going to try to salvage it. Being treated like this is not worth our time or money. Terrible!BTW.. This is NOT the norm for this restaurant. Never had an issue or problem prior. It's sad that one person can ruin everything due to careless attitude.

Love love love this food! This is real authentic food! Best home made hot sauces and salsa to pick from! Homemade tortillas and taco plates with fried jalapenos! It is rare to find this type of food. Excellent selection and drinks made from scratch. The prices are very fair for the quality of Mexican cuisine. Great family run business owners!

First time coming here. We wanted to try a new place. The service was really bad and the food was just alright. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here because most of the complaints are the same. The service is bad and you could go somewhere else in Appleton for better Mexican food and a better experience. I wouldn’t come back here. The other reviews on poor service are very accurate.When we got there most of the tables were still filled with dishes. When left an hour later almost all of those tables were still unclean. The waitress came to take our drinks & our orders, and she dropped off the orders and never came back. The bartender was helping our waitress take care of tables and everything seemed crazy hectic.We never were given silverware or had our drinks refilled. I had to go up to the bar to ask for to-go boxes and silverware to put my food in the box. When the waitress brought over the boxes and I asked for the bill she told me I would have to go get it from the bar—which I never would have known because she never came back. When I had went up there to talk to her it looked like she was just busy hitting on someone at the bar while she rolled silverware. So she wasn’t that busy.My chicken tacos were okay but I wish I would have been given more than one lime slice. My partner had steak tacos and the meat was super dry.

We love Lino Michoacán! First their food is great. One of our favorite meals is the birria taco platter. So good. We have ordered many different meals and none have ever been bad. The portions are large. I usually eat everything on my plate not because the portions are small but because the food is that good. The service has always been great. When our kids our home from college their first request is to go out to Lino! Highly recommend!

Great friendly service. The take out food is very delicious. On the weekends the offer tamales but come early otherwise, you may finds yourself hungry. The restaurant has carnitas and other delicious Mexican dishes along with authentic salsas.

We took to go. Good sauce on their version of chilaquiles... very little egg to speak of and none of the chips were crunchy. This may be a style thing, but I prefer a variety of texture

Delicious food, fast service, server remembered our whole order without writing it down; even our food allergies. Server offered a taste of one of the sodas we were hesitant about. We will definitely be coming back to the restaurant and to the connected market. She graciously helped us practice our Spanish.

It's a big disappointment to find out that several customers complained about the unfriendly, rude service. My friend is a chef from the south so when I heard that fresh corn tortillas are available here, that was one restaurant I had on the places to go. Hope the owners take consideration of this, the food can be good, even great but if the service is poor, rude and slow...is not appealing.Mexican food has such a big variety of combinations, wonderful flavors, traditional dishes, is rich and comforting.Carnitas from Michoacan are famous.!So, best of luck. Customer service is all when you own a business.

This was my first time trying this place out and unfortunately, it will also be my last. Some friends and I had been wanting to try this place. We were all very disappointed with our experience. It took almost an hour to get carry out. You can go to any other Mexican restaurant in town and get carryout in under 30 minutes, regardless of if they are busy or not. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, enchiladas poblanos. I am not an expert when it comes to Mexican food but any other time I've ordered this dish it was covered in a roasted poblano cream sauce. This dish was made with a red mole sauce that was extremely over-salted. Since this dish had zero poblano peppers associated with it, I fail to see why it is called enchiladas poblanos. We also ordered the American taco platter and the Mordeduras appetizer. The tacos had no flavor in my opinion. We order two chicken and two beef. The chicken was very dry and the beef, just like the enchiladas, was extremely over-salted. The tacos were also very messy & sloppy and they just fell apart when you tried to pick them up. Both enchiladas and the tacos came with rice and beans. The rice and beans also had no flavor, and the rice was very dry with what appeared to be frozen peas and corn. The serving size of the rice and beans we received was not appropriate to the cost. The appetizer was the only thing about the meal that we enjoyed. We were surprised at how good it was compared to the main dishes. We were also very disappointed with their to-go containers. Many other Mexican restaurants in the area use round tin containers appropriate to the amount of food that they are serving. This restaurant uses a fast food-style compartment container. All of our dishes were just thrown together in these containers. I think the worst part of our food was that everything was cold when we got home and I live 5 minutes away from the restaurant. We would all think that after waiting almost an hour for food that wasn't very good, it would have at least been hot.I wouldn’t even considered giving this place another chance.

Great place to enjoy your dinner! The food was delicious! If you like spicy, you’ve got to try the house spicy sauce, it’s hotttt. The employees are polite and their service is good. Inside there’s also a small mini mart where you can purchase goods as well.

When people ask for authentic Mexican food in the area, I always point them to Lindo. I believe they portray the most honest version of Mexican food around. Their prices are reasonable and the portions are awesome. Even if the service may be slow at times, I think this place is worth a try.

The menu was loaded with wonderful authentic dishes that you don’t find at most Mexican restaurants. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food - everything was just fine. Great service but the menu items we tried were a bit bland.

Spacious, friendly, colorful and great music. Food quality was good, but not as great as Fronteras. On the other hand, the dining room here is properly distant from the front door cold. Tacos Carne Asada were deliciously moist, and the house margherita plentiful. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking in the back, with a proper back entrance.

I'm in town for work from Chicago and was craving some tacos. I ordered 5 tacos, 2 steak, 2 al pastor and 1 lengua. The lengua was the best of the 3 which is not really a compliment because even the worst tacos joints cant efff up steak tacos, well I was wrong. The al pastor was probably the worst I've ever had and I've eaten a ton of them in many states and in Mexico, so dry and no taste whatsoever, I thought I was going to choke from how dry they were. Here comes the shocker, the steak. Not sure how old it was but it was just as bad, dry, no seasoning, dark which means it had been reheated multiple times. Steak should be tender, juicy, bursting with flavor, this was horrible. A detail that not many would notice but I did was that the cilantro was not chopped at all, they had the whole cilantro leaves in the tacos and same with the onions, long chunks and pieces, to me that shows laziness and not caring about their quality. My suggestion for you, get your tacos right, its like Mexican restaurant 101. The salsas were good, Ill give them a positive there. Btw my family is from Michoacan, all of Michoacan would be disappointed in your food. First and last time at this place.

4 year update: Sad downhill trend, so I have to retract pretty much everything. Food is worse, portions are smaller and more expensive, and somehow the already horrific service is even worse.Update after my 4 year update: Love that the business decided to reply that I should "contact them to make it right." This is hilarious because part of the reason I updated my review is that the staff either doesn't answer the phone, hangs up on you, or leaves you on permanent hold. The poor service used to be a fair price for the great food, but the food just isn't good anymore.My original review: This is the only Mexican place you should be going to in Appleton. Period. The food is great and authentic, and they have some great weekday specials (which they don't advertise). They occasionally get very busy and the wait can be significant, but it is always worth it for the food and atmosphere. Karen is the best server in town and treats her regulars with love! Go here!

I told my friend. Good place but was disappointed when I went. Food wasn't fully cooked. Cheese wasn't melted. It was cold. I was hungry. Just ate it. I did mention it to staff. That's how it is. Hmmm. I had steak enchiladas. One piece of steak on top. Rest is just cheese inside. My friend meal was cold too... didn't eat it all. Didn't want to take home leftover.

Food was good but.. when we arrived the dining room was packed which is fine so we had a seat at the bar and we were the only people at the bar and could not get served. Waited about 15 -20min no service, even if we just had Waters we would have been happy. Got a table, was at least 10 min until we got chips or Waters. Maybe another 15 until we got our actual beverages. Took over 30 min for our tacos which all came out wrong of what we ordered, which whatever they are just tacos but we we're all annoyed by this point. Got our bill which was also wrong and took her forever to figure out. Waitress was nice but just no one was on top of anything, very unorganized. I'll stick to Solea sorry.

Great restaurant! ...and great store. Love the selection of meat in their deli/meat dept. ...and the hot food for on the go. Amazing. Its great to have all these products in one spot.Recently, we bought carnitas (shredded pork) and made tortas (sandwiches). All the items in the photo can be purchased at the store plus a lot more hot food. For example: tamales, carne seca, chicharrones, menudo, and so much more. Can't recommend it enough. Plus the family that runs the place - great people!

I am extremely upset, I ate here earlier in the month and left a 10 dollar tip on 40 dollar purchase. They charged it a few days later, and two weeks later they tried to charge me again. I called my bank and apparently someone at this restaurant kept my card info and manually entered it. So now I have to have a new card sent to me and deal with that inconvenience. I highly recommend staying away from here or at the very least paying in cash. Your card information is NOT SAFE.

OMG the best Caldo De Res!! In Wisconsin!! In my opinion!! Omar was super cool, nice was very helpful. I would definitely come back and recommend other people to come eat here! The atmosphere is awesome..the food is so delicious 😋 and all the families that came to eat were happy!! So was I with my Caldo!!😋

After using their online ordering system, I received a confirmation email saying my order was accepted. The email said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and it's about 5-10 minutes from my house. When I showed up I asked the first employee I saw if my order was ready, she walked by and said nothing to me. She came back out of the kitchen and tried to take my order. I told her I ordered online, I showed her my conformation email and she tried to take my order again, I asked if my food was ready or not? She asked me if I was a delivery driver, I said no. I then told her to cancel my order and refund my money. Later on in the day I noticed that I was charged for the order I never received. I called and asked them if I could get a refund and they hung up on me.
