Widespread.At first, it was to ...mess with me. Purposefully intimidate me. Bully and harass me. In order to make me look bad. By whatever means possible.To be hostile. Demeaning. Aggressive.That is what the people at this location were like with me.The first instance was that ...whatever I did was going to be looked at negatively. Whatever punitive power I had ...would be looked at upon negatively.The second aspect was ...the game of eye contact. Where no matter what I do ...I will be abused and used. I will be shunned. I will be looked down upon. I will be made to suffer. I will be looked down upon as inadequate - simply for existing.

Love this place! Always have new weekly finds. Perfect for quick party decorations and needs. Lots of new makeup and their dishes are adorable. Cleaning supplies are super cheap as well. Love the arts and crafts section.

Location is not staffed the best but they are quick to help and get you checked out. Store can he a bit disorganized but well stocked. Store is generally clean as well. Great deals on many items.

I came in to this store today with my family to buy some organizing bins for our home. (This cashier was sitting in a chair at the register) The cashier was EXTREMELY rude!! The entire time she checked us out, she was making faces, comments and noises of absolute disgust and annoyance. Her comments were extremely sarcastic and about how I must really love organizing and how I am basically nuts for wanting organized drawers. She made comments to both my boyfriend and my daughter. She told my boyfriend to "never let her do this again." She told my daughter that she shouldn't grow up so she can "avoid having to do things like this." Still not sure why this woman was so pressed about me spending $80 on product for my home, FROM HER JOB. Her behavior was completely uncalled for and made this experience absolutely horrible. Her customer service was the absolute worst I have ever experienced and this woman deserves to be fired. If I could give negative stars, I would. 10/10 do not recommend going to this location.

I bought three holiday items and some nail polish. They have no posted policy about returns in the store. The receipt says they will gladly exchange items, but they do not offer refunds. I went in with my four items and asked to exchange for four other items. I was told they do not exchange holiday items. I asked to show me where that was posted and they stated it was just company policy. I asked how I was supposed to know that policy when I purchased the items if it’s not stated anywhere. The receipt clearly says they will exchange items with no exceptions listed. She then said she could exchange the items but only for $.50 because that’s what they were ringing up as. I would lose $.75 per item. I asked if she could sell me the items I wanted for $.50 also so the exchange was even. It seemed fair to me since, I was returning four items and exchanging for four items. At this point, Katina, the manager said she was not willing to do any exchanges for me. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I have no problem with any policy a store wants to have you just need to make your customers aware before they purchase.

I love dollar tree!!! It is my favorite store to shop at! I love making gift baskets for all ages from there. Such cute decorations, school supplies, love my adult coloring books, soaps, and so much more! Wish it all would have stayed at a dollar. Cant complain. Store is clean and most often staff is friendly.

You really can't go wrong when everything is a dollar. I think anyone could find something of use here. The only issue I've ever had is waiting a long time in the line. There is one girl that seems to always be working and she's great...get her some help Dollar Tree! I've also noticed a male employee who never really seems to be doing anything even when it's busy. I would have to assume that he's some kind of manager because he sure seems to stand there and watch that poor girl bust her butt. I'm obviously only talking about the checkout area, the store itself is always clean and pretty well organized.

I have not been at this Dollar Tree probably for close to 3 years. I went in just to check out what day would have as far as crafts go. I walked in and I was impressed from the start. The store is big and clean. I was looking for some craft supplies not knowing if what I needed they would even have. But I was pleasantly surprised to find an array of different colors and widths of wired ribbon on the spool, all kinds of floral foam sizes and shapes, dried vine wreaths of different sizes and even metal wreaths. As far as the employees that work there, that's a different story. I waited around while one of their employees was shooting the breeze with a customer. And yes she did see me standing there. And the young man at the checkout was not friendly and did not greet me.

I shopped at Dollar Tree (Store 961) (Van Roy Road, Appleton, WI) and had the worst customer service ever. My 2 year old was in the toy aisle playing with a few balls she found and the lady working (Cheryl) (I am not sure about the spelling because her name tag was covered), saw other balls on the ground and belted out, “Oh God” and “Are you kidding me?” as she bent over to pick them up. I apologized to her and said that she was just a kid and told her that we were picking up what she took out - but before getting my sentence out she replied, “Well, YOU are her parents”. I thanked her for her customer service and she said, “You bet!”.I continued to check out at the front counter where a new worker, Johnathan checked us out. We told him about our experience but said he didn’t know what to do because he was new. I asked for the rude workers name but he said that he didn’t know it. Cheryl came up to the front - and her name tag was covered by her sweater. I asked for her name, she was hesitant to give it to me, but did and then asked me for my name. She then said, “It was a pleasure to meet you” with a horribly sarcastic tone.I have worked in Customer Service practically my entire life plus had just went through a conference at Disney talking about the perfect service - and this interaction made me sick. I cannot believe that someone who talks with customers thus way and is as negative and rude as this lady, has a job in Customer Service.I will never go back to this location and am putting this review on my social media accounts, all of my professional groups and boards, on all dollar tree social pages, and all review sites.My advice to Cheryl is that if she doesn’t like her job or working with people, she should find a new job away from handling public interactions.

Everything is basically 1$. My kids love to pick out a little toy or something they think is cool, and it's okay because it's so cheap. I do wish they had more checkout lanes, and the items were a little less flimsy/cheap. But, what do you expect to get when you're only paying a dollar?

The girl working the cash register named Michelle was extremely rude this evening. The lady in front of me in line asked that her 5 items get rung up separately and instead of being understanding, Michelle was EXTREMELY rude, let out a huge sigh, made a big scene, and made the lady buying the items very embarrassed. I have never witnessed an employee be so rude to a customer in my life. I am still rating 5 stars because I know not all of the employees there are like that, and I do like Dollar Tree, but I will hope that the next time I go there, Michelle will not be employed there.

For the most part a good place to shop. Some bad workers come and go but it’s retail and that’s expected. Everything is stocked more regularly than it used to. There used to be carts stacked with their incoming shipments waiting to get put away but I haven’t seen that for a long time. Great store

The store is very clean. They have a decent selection of items. You have to be careful what you buy because some stuff you can get cheaper elese where, but the biggest thing sometimes is quality. Most items are fine but some things you should be paying more than a dollar for.

This place is ridiculously fun to shop at. It's clean, organized and the staff is friendly. Plus everything is a buck or less. There's brand name products (Bounce, Tide, Hershey's), craft supplies, books, glassware and misc. kitchenware, an automotive section, batteries, toys and more. This is where to go if you're looking for that one random thing you just can't find anywhere else.

I was there last week and purchased a 12 pack of Niagra Sparking Water, I was charged $12...one dollar per 12oz bottle. When I was in the store today, there was a sign that said $1 per 12 pack of said water. I don't have my original receipt to get reimbursed, I was way overly charged! Disgusting!

Cashier was rude. As my husband & I checked out, cashier greeted him politely, by saying "hello," she became rude at the end of transaction when she looked at me and asked me, "did he wake you up too early this morning?" I answered "no," I didnt know how else to respond, I was so taken back by her question."

Cashier was not nice at all. She didn't greet me when it was my turn to check out and she jst threw my stuff in a bag and ripped my money out of my hand when I handed it to her then threw my chnage at me. Very very poor customer service. Not professional at all. I won't be coming back to this location.

I went to buy three pregnancy tests and the checkout lady gave me a look in disgust. She didnt say hi or anything. She quickly scanned my items. Bagged them. And pushed the bags to the side. So rude!

Dollar Tree offers a variety of products that are needed in the home and a reasonable price. Fun to browse the store….you’ll never know what you will find that you wanted or needed.

Cheap everything for basic quality items. Some name brand things mixed in. Store itself is rather unkept. Not stocked very well. Not faced very well. Impersonal staff. But you cant expect 5star quality with a dollar store business. The 4th star is for its location and price.

They have a little of everything. I like going there for kid birthday present stuffers, Christmas stocking stuffers, Easter stuffers and Halloween stuffers. Also for the artificial flowers, I like making table arrangements for the seasons. Some of the name brand cleaners are there, and you can't beat 1$!

There was only 1 check out lane open but the girl did great she kept her cool but the other 1 that was sweeping the floor could have stepped in and opened another check out cause there was like 7 people behind me yet!

I love dollar tree on Van Roy. I have found the BEST frozen fruit. Frozen strawberries, mango, blueberries, "smoothie" blend... and veges by Jennifer.____it may be Naturals? And They carry same frozen veges as Festival Foods including hashbrown potatoes, broccoli cauliflower blend...4oz fish filets tilapia founder and scallop packs same as pick n save. I could go on. My point the STUFF THEY CARRY, a ton of it, is same as stores local. Plus we can use coupons on all products!!!! Unless states trial size platinum Dawn. But they carry simply Dawn and Palmolive, Ajax...Magic eraser....oh and if you check out the Micro Fiber in beauty aisle it usually is the best. Better than in kitchen aisle.I use to be too snobby for Dollar stores. Still am except Dollar Trees, plus the staff is very helpful too. They are so busy too!)!!

Horrible customer service I went there to buy a leash for my dog and wanted to know buying it up how long it was so I asked the lady if she could cut the zip tie off so I can see how long it was she told me no I asked why she said because she can't because it would be damaging the property as far as I know of cutting a zip tie off of something does not damage the product and it's still sellablso I proceeded to go to another dollar store and ask the same exact question they did it without problem this isn't the first time I've had a problem with this dollar store I will not return

Love that everything is $1, but you get what you pay for. They have cologne, shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste that are all well worth the $1, but things like toys or electronics are just junk.

They are pretty empty right now. Christmas stuff is 50percent off, but they are making room for valentine's day stuff. Didn't see any new craft stuff.

Bought a slice of banana pound cake that they sell. I found out after opening it, it was moldy. Even though the expiration date is still a little over a month away.
