I have always avoided stopping here for how sketchy it looks. I decided to give it a visit. Sketchy guy hanging out near the door as usual.Not a fan of the tall shelves and dingey feel. The items I was searching out were finally.found after wandering most of the store. The prices gave me sticker shock as I was always under the impression they were lower than a big box store.Woman at the register seemed friendly, but I ended up leaving empty handed.

The lady workers are amazing. But the men workers were so racist and terrible towards me. They decided to mock my Asian eyes after I left and laughed at me. Please fire them and do something. I’m gonna tell corporate and let them know that racism will not be tolerated towards Asian people. This is so disrespectful and disgusting. Please do something about them and never let them work here or any other place again. They should be embarrassed and ashamed. The one who mocked my Asian eyes was wearing a cap and had acne on his face. The other one who laughed was also wearing cap. They were both not even wearing their uniforms! The guy who mocked my Asian eyes was Brandon Cain. He’s a senior and goes to Appleton West High School.

It was a nice place to pick up some items I needed and some I really didn't need but you know how that goes, impulsive buying, lol. Anyhow, nice store, clean and organized, the checkout gal was polite, professional and friendly. I will go back again.

The checker lady and store attendants are always very helpful.as usual I had my hands full because I grabbed more things than I anticipated getting and the store attendant gave me her cart that she was using. A very thoughtful and nice lady

Has pretty much everything you would need. They stopped selling clothes like pants scrubs shirts at this location but they do sell undershirts socks and boxers. You can save a lot of money on laundry soap using digital coupons

This store has so much to offer, but I stopped shopping here because I'm always being followed and watched. The staff assumes that because you wander the isles that you are shoplifting. Dollar Generals are known for great deals and having items you didn't know they had. They would sell more if they didn't treat customers as if they had poor intentions. You don't need to check on the same person 4 times in 30 mins. And you most definitely don't need to follow them. This store has always made me uncomfortable.

My wife stopped there tonight two minutes before they closed at 9:00pm. She needed one item that was across from the register- which she told the guy in the store, at the door. The guy just looked at her and said "I close in two minutes" and refused to let her in to get her one item, even though they were still open.I get wanting to start closing up shop ahead of time, but posted hours are posted hours. I work customer service. If I found out my employees received a phone call from a customer two minutes before closing and told them that they couldn't help because they were closing in two minutes, they would be in trouble. Terrible customer service.This was the one on W Wisconsin Ave in Appleton, WI.

The manager of this store is rude and inconsiderate. She denied my coupons even though they were being used in a perfectly legitimate method. They have forgotten the number one rule if customer service. There are plenty of other stores like this nearby. Stay away from this kind at all costs.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean store throughout. Everything layed out easy to get at and through. Helped a beginner with western union. Good place! I will return.

Just saw an awesome fight at the dollar general! The cashier was nothing but respectful and patient. The customers however a mother and daughter should have been arrested. Never a full moment!

Dollar store that is stocked and clean. Good for a quick stop for something you need right away...otherwise aldis and walmart beat them on price and quality for most items. The products seem less expensive but you are getting a smaller package that either equals or is more expensive then the product in larger stores. 2 liter bottles of soda are almost 2 bucks...you get what you pay for in a pinch...

Zero stars where manager is concerned, unfriendly, rude and her comment "I'm busy" and doesn't listen to the customer. Not well trained in customer service. The clerk was hopeful and sweet though.

This store is in a good location to where we live, the prices arent impressive in comparisson to other stores but Dollar General is a block away so it was a good place to go for milk, bread and the like without having to drive. There have been multiple occasions the staff is rude. Ive put up with it for 6 years we've lived here but today they went too far. My 5 year old wanted to buy some cheap Minnie Mouse jewelry with her own money. It rang up $2. I truly thought it was $1 (it was a REALLY cheap looking item). The clerk walked back to check and we both discovered the jewelry wasnt marked. Cheap plastic item in a dollar store with no price, cant fault people for assuming the cost would be $1. The lady wouldnt make an adjustment and insisted the little girl pay $2. We left without buying anything because that cashier wasted this customers time. We'll make the effort to avoid their business now.

Great stop for last minute meal prep ingredients, party foods such as soda and chips or fast home fixes like curtain rods rugs or extra pillows or for when you run out of dog treats laundry soap bleach or dishsoap.

Both places on mason and northland are great. We shop at dollar General all the time. The clerks at both places are very nice and if I need help they're very helpful.

Since the remodel it has been amazing, you are able to find your products. Everything is neat and not just thrown into an aisle.

That staff at this Dollar General is the best, and I have been to them all over Wisconsin. I just wish they would have made the store larger when it was built and had the selection of other DG stores.

Friendly staff, lots of stuff to choose from. Almost too much though, aisles were a little crowded, gave it a little bit of dank feeling. I'd go back though for sure.

It's a dirty store that's too crowded and the prices are too high. Most of the staff are clearly either bored or unhappy, though I did have one clerk today who actually smiled and said hello

My kids and I were stranded, my phone dead since it doesn't charge without vehicle power and I asked to use their phone and she was pretty rude and needless to say we didn't get to use it.

Decent selection for a smaller store. A bit cluttered like the dimestores years ago,but that's ok since the prices are lower on many things.
