I recently looked around at a few places to have a wood stove installed, and ended up at Darboy Stone and Brick. I am extremely glad I did. Codi was extremely helpful with the selection process, gave me an estimate that was spot on, and prompt with his replies. The installation was very professional. These guys know what they’re doing, and made it look great! They took extra care to not damage anything, putting floor protection down, and did a great job cleaning everything up, as well as explaining the function of the stove. The whole process went extremely smooth. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Darboy Stone and Brick in the future.A huge thank you to the entire team!

I’ve had two issues since having my gas fireplace installed in 2020. Both times I called to schedule service and before scheduling, they walked me through a couple things, as a “process of elimination”… both times, both issues were simple, and resolved, saving me a trip charge. I was having a weird situation with the flame shutting off and within seconds coming back on.There service rep. Tim came over to try different ways to correct the problem. As it didn't happen at any specific time , it was hard to figure out why. Tim didn't give up and the people at Darboy Stone were very patient when I called. After 3 or 4 different attempts it was corrected. I can't say enough about the customer service I have received from all the people at Darboy Stone, my hats off to everyone especially Tim,he didn't give up.Thank you to everyone

This is our fourth time using Darboy Stone and once again we were not disappointed. We added granite to our laundry room area. The quote was quick and a great price. They even offered to remove the old counter top for us. We approved the quote, they measured and installed within a few days. If you are looking for granite for a large , or even a small job like ours, I would highly recommend Darboy. They are excellent to work with and we are never disappointed with them.

We had an absolutely great experience with Darboy Stone and Brick. We just bought a home with 2 fireplaces that needed inserts. We started with just one- The team was very knowledgeable and professional. The installation of our gas insert was quick, and though we had an odd curved fireplace- they did an amazing job of custom cutting the metal surround so it fit perfectly! We did a remodel of our kitchen and went to Darby Stone and Brick to purchase the countertops and island quartz. We decided on Snow Storm and couldn’t be happier. Kristie and the whole team (consultations, measurements, fabricators, installers etc) were absolutely marvelous and very thorough. The island install was first and it was a large piece of quartz. The installation of the countertops was also remarkable. We kept our existing back splash and they matched the new grout perfectly. Perfection all around. I would highly recommend. We just purchased "White Springs" granite counter tops for our kitchen and bathroom (to go with cabinets that were stained w/ Minwax's "Early American"), and it turned out great. So the granite PRODUCT was great. But the reason for my 5 star review is because of the awesome SERVICE at Darboy Stone & Brick. I'm an "accountant type" person, and I ask a lot of questions, and I like to make sure things are "right". I'm also very detailed focused. Darboy Stone & Brick (Kristie in particular) was SO great to work with. She was helpful, patient, kind, and she answered all of my questions. Darboy Stone & Brick also stayed true to their word ... on price, timing, schedule, communication, etc. That is worth so much to me. Thanks for having integrity Darboy Stone & Brick!

Our fireplace needed repair and we contacted Darboy Stone and Brick. They gave us a date and called us this morning to confirm our time between 9 and noon. Tim came this morning and we now have a working fireplace. Tim did a great job, he diagnosed and disposed of the new bird nest in our vent. Darboy Stone and Brick does good work. We are very happy with the fireplace insert they retrofitted into our existing wood-burning fireplace. Having said that, Darboy Stone and Brick can be inconsistent in communications. Be proactive in communicating with them to set appointments and in confirming them. For the appointment to measure our fireplace, the technician was two hours early (I was home, so it didn't matter). To complete the ordering process, we had a to re-communicate some information they probably should have known. For the install, we did not receive a call indicating what time (on the day we agreed) they would arrive. These issues weren't big deals, but a little more focus on communications by them would have made the experience better for us.

We purchased a woodstove from Darboy. Our old farmhouse was not an easy "fit" and the inspector gave us the pros/cons of each spot we wanted the stove. In addition, I made some changes to which stove I wanted and the salesperson was prompt with calls and answering questions. Installation went smooth and this week we are toasty warm and loving our woodstove!

The team at Darboy Stone did an absolutely fantastic job. From my first contact with Justin about purchasing and quoting out our wood stove, to scheduling, previewing and installing, all went well.Our wood stove looks absolutely great from stove to spark arrester. There customer service is top notch.If you call, you get a live person. If you email, a response is given promptly. If someone is on vacation, there is another sales person to help or cover the question or concern. Great job Darboy Stone Team!Thank you. Highly recommended!

my wife and I moved here from Nebraska in June of 2020 and built a brand new home. We have had nothing but unsatisfactory customer service from Darboy as far as with our counter tops and also the fireplace. It felt like the issues that we had Eric and the staff were not looking for a way to make the customer happy just would say well it is what it is. Recent issue with the fireplace they did not dig in and try to fix the problem just said well its different her in Wisconsin compared to Nebraska. I finally called ELITE Fireplace and talked to the owner and he had a no problem attitude came out fixed the obvious cold air leak and didn't charge me anything. Now that is customer service!!! If you want to have a fireplace installed or repaired I highly recommend ELITE Fireplace DONT GO TO DARBOY and spend your hard earned money for sad service

We wanted to convert from a wood burning fireplace insert to a gas unit. We had heard good things about Darboy, and we were not disappointed. The sales staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The showroom has many displays and options. From our initial visit to after installation, Darboy was always there to answer our questions. Our install techs were top notch!! Our chimney presented them with some challenges, but the techs always overcame them ... a testament to high standards and superior training. Darboy has their own techs who do the installs, not like some fireplace retailers who farm out the work to subcontractors. Believe me, it DOES make a difference!!

Had an appt set 3 weeks out. They gave us a time frame from 10 am to noon. I took off of work to be there. At around 12:30 I left. The technician came close to one. Not one call letting us know they would be late. When the tech arrived my neighbor called me because they noticed someone trying to enter the house. He opened up my garage entry door and pushed a 100lb garbage can 1 foot out. I called to complain more so on someone trying to enter my dwelling without authorization and no one being there. The girls who answered the phone wouldn't let me talk, and were more concerned about the scheduling basically saying they did everything right. Eventually I got a call from Greg who threatend to "knock my teeth out" I will tell everyone not to do business with these guys. Beware!

12-04-2020 Service Rep Tim was out to our home for service to our Heatilator fire place. Service IS a 10 out of 10!! Excellent attitude, Excellent skill levels, Excellent Service!!! He cleaned , re-adjusted and replaced a bad switch! This unit was installed new in 2003 and has NOT had any service to it since then! Our whole fireplace project has been a disaster. Unqualified people installing it, our house had a major gas leak and when we called to say something they didn’t believe us. Our whole house could have blown up and they didn’t care. Sales staff very unsympathetic and arrogant when asking why something doesn’t seem right. Our fireplace is so cold and drafty it has been unusable all year, we keep blankets stuffed in front of it all the time.
