My chihuahua is a crabby old man! It takes 2 people to trim his nails!!The people at Bark At The Moon treat him gently, talk to him to try to calm him, and praise him when they are done!They treat him with kindness and understanding. Other places have treated him like he has the plaque and never tried to comfort him.Our lab is nervous (but not a jerk like her brother) when getting her nails clipped. Here, the people work so quickly that she barely has time to think about what's happening before she is done!!Love the Bark At The Moon team!!

I have a nervous dog and it can be a challenge bringing him someplace new. He's been seeing the same groomer since he was a pup.I reached out to Bark at the Moon to get his nails trimmed. Everyone was very understanding and assuring. Needless to say he did great! I've neen back multiple times and would highly recommend to anyone in the Fox Valley.Can't speak specifically to the grooming, but every dog I've seen there looks great and is just as happy as my furry friend.

Our Goldendoodle Walter loves Bark At the Moon. They do a really great job. They are loving to all of the pets that come in & the dogs are not kenneled when they're done. They get to play together. We love it there!

While they had done a great job grooming my dog I found it disappointing for being a first time customer there and one of the technicians thinking it was okay to outwardly discuss issues with my dog and his leash and how it “just wasn’t a good thing” I found it to be awfully rude for them to discuss it in front of me while I was there after they thought I had left. Poor customer service but a shame because they did a great job with grooming.

Very disappointed with my experience in January 2023. First off, Vanessa is an INCREDIBLE groomer and if this wouldn’t have happened I’d still be going to her. She has done nothing wrong and for anyone who continues to go here dispute my experience I’d highly recommend booking specifically with her.I went to pick up my three dogs from their regular grooming appointment and was told everything went fine, however my Shiba Inu, Mori, didn’t want his nails finished and I could bring him back during the week. I was also told Vanessa had to unexpectedly leave mid appointment, so others finished my dogs. I paid $160 and a tip and left.Tuesday I got a phone call from GCPD saying my dog was involved in a bite incident. I’m totally clueless, but he went on to say a groomer from BATM went to the ER with a bite wound and they needed to follow up with me to obtain my dogs records and do a home visit. They couldn’t tell me which of my three dogs bit. I set up the home visit to provide vet records, and called BATM instantly to figure out what happened.I spoke with the owner who started out by apologizing they didn’t know “how to tell me” my dog bit a groomer who had taken over for Vanessa. I was irate. These dogs are my babies and I take their health and care very seriously. She went on apologizing how they don’t like to disclose dog bites because then they lose clients (really?!). She refunded me my $160 after my request. I explained that Mori is a rescue and takes a moment to warm up to people (backyard breeder escapee and a rescue), which is why I requested Vanessa every appointment and worked around her availability. I told her that I also found it unprofessional they also didn’t call me to inform that Vanessa had to leave, as I would have picked Mori up right away and rescheduled his appointment at my cost versus having him work with whoever else was available.The owner never followed up regarding video footage I had requested since Mori gives ample warning signs before any sort of aggression. Even when I’m doing his nails at home, he’ll do a shiba scream, lick his lips, lip curls, pull back, etc. He makes it very clear he’s not okay with what is going on before he’d ever get to the point of snapping. I feel incredibly comfortable working with him and he’s never gotten near any aggressive behavior with my husband or I.After over $300 in vet observation visits later, missed work for these vet appointments which are on a strict schedule, and I now have to disclose to every groomer, vet, trainer, etc about his bite history; I will NEVER go back here and for anyone who has a dog that can even occasionally be temperamental I would not recommend them since they try to keep secrets which impact your dog’s life forever.

Very welcoming and comfortable feel. I love that my dogs can hang out before and after their cut. You can feel their love for dogs and trust them. My dogs would always be nervous to get groomed and being left but Bark at the Moon is like a second home.

On the 2nd time I went, I was met with a crabby attitude and multiple eye rolls from a few of the groomers. I was 5 minutes early and was on the books for a full de shed and bath and nails. The girl who checked me in said about 5 words to me. When I picked my dog up, it was a different girl and was much nicer and answered my questions.My dog looked great, but in all honesty, I am probably not going to go back because of the attitude, and the unwelcoming vibes I was getting.

We used to use a nation wide chain for grooming. My sweet dogs would be locked away while waiting for a cut and bath. We LOVE ❤️ LOVE Bark at The Moon LLC. My dogs are able to play, relax, and enjoy their grooming appointment. We are never worried, they are in great care when dropped off. We have 2 standard poodles and cuts with dye can last several hours for each dog. They come home happy and exhausted from the adventure. Our groomer is Cecilia and she does amazing dye and razor work. Cannot wait for Halloween 🎃 we are going to make my white poodle a skeleton …

I tried this place out 3 times. Each time my small dog came back with an uneven cut in strange places and actual cuts on her body. She was going to another groomer that unfortunately closed and never had this problem. The girls that came up front always seemed as if they did not know what they were doing and the dogs looked miserable that were in there already. When I picked her up the last time she was in a pen not making any noise at all, this is not normal behavior for her at all. She is usually a chatter box with the rest of the pups.I am not one to complain but when your dog is as important as your child you need a reliable groomer and not one that is going to torture your baby for 3 hours. I am really not sure how this place has so many high ratings but, it is why I took my dog there. So be careful, ratings aren't always what they seem. Meanwhile if anyone could recommend a great dog groomer that you can stay and watch that would be appreciated!

I brought my 7 month golden retriever to Bark Over The Moon & they did an amazing job. His nails are perfect and his coat looks & feels so soft. The staff is so friendly & I felt so comfortable leaving my puppy with them. The best part is they are a locally owned. Can’t wait for our next appointment!

We take our 3 husky’s here on a regular basis and always love how they come out! They are always so white and shiny! I love that they are cage free and I can see and hear my pups having a good time howling with the other pups! Katie and the other groomers here are the ONLY ones I will trust with my babies!

I LOVE this place! I have a very skiddish huge Bernese Mtn dog. He’s always so relaxed when we walk in which doesn’t happen anywhere! The staff are so good with him and love on like he’s their own. He always comes out looking dog show ready. Highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Brittany does a fantastic job with my anxious pups - like, unbelievably so! I love the personalized attention they get. I love the patience she gives - she never forces anything on them and almost makes it such that my dogs enjoy having their ears clipped! I love that her prices are competitive and that there are ZERO cages in her facility. I even love the aromatherapy touches! :)I recommend her to anyone who will listen, especially those with anxious dogs who need to go to the groomer.

Our pup is anxious at most groomers but does well here! Team is friendly and caring and is very helpful to recommend different treatments based on the season that would work best for our pup. We moved about 20 minutes away after finding bark at the moon but will still drive the 40 min roundtrip to continue to patron!!!

My dogs look great when they are done and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they truly love dogs here. I am always happy with the results of the de-shedding for my lab mix (who sheds like crazy without the treatments) and the allergy wash for my vizsla mix (who always seems to be itchy without it). I have referred Bark at the Moon to a number of people because I highly recommend them. Try them out for yourself and see.

After taking our dogs to PetSmart that resulted in a trip to the ER we found Bark at the Moon. We weren’t sure how the one would do after the traumatic events at PetSmart.I give this place 5 stars and we will bring our dogs here till the end of time. They love going here to their groomer. All the dogs we see when we drop off or pick up are so happy. Our one actually got every dog and groomer to howl along with her because she was having such a great time that she lead everyone in the songs of her people lol.If you are looking for a great groomer and a place that your furry family members will have a great time and experience I say this is the place for you.

Bark at the moon is absolutely amazing with my pup, he gets so excited to see all of the groomers. They always go above and beyond to not only groom my dog but care for him like he is a part of the family. It seems like they genuinely love every dog that walks through the door and into their hearts. If you're looking for a place to treat your pup to a make over. My dog Cooper (Aussie mix) gets a full groom 2-3 times a year at Bark at the Moon. He always looks fabulous when he leaves. The ladies do so well with his snippy behavior too. Love love love them!!

I started going there to get my dog's nails trimmed. Initially, they'd take me as a walk-in, but then started requiring appointments. Fine. After that, I needed to bring in proof of vaccination. Again, fine. Next time, I had to provide proof again. I asked, shouldn't that be in your records? It wasn't. So, I had to provide proof again. Yesterday, I made an appointment for today. Got there, and again was asked for proof of vaccination. I asked, again, shouldn't that be in your system? Oh, this time it was, but sorry. It expired on the ninth(dog has an appoinment for rabies shot on the 20th. Pretty sure the vet won't allow a lapse in coverage).Point being, can't this stuff be cleared up when making the appointment? Too many hassles that could easily be resolved ahead of time.

My dog Ruby blows her thick coat a few times a year. I have tumbleweeds throughout my house. For the first time, I decided to get her groomed. Bark at the Moon was amazing with Ruby who is 14 years old. She came out looking incredible. The tuft of hairs were gone. She seriously looked like a new dog. Weeks later, she still looks great. They blew out the under layers of her hair. She seems to be happy, too! Thanks BatM!

The best grooming salon in the valley! They take such good care of the dogs as if they were their own. All of the groomers have such a love for dogs and grooming, and I think that shows in how much care they give each and every pup. I can’t wait to bring my Bella in! ♥️
