Great experience, I have never been to a taxidermy store and was not exactly sure what I was getting myself into, but I was greeted by a friendly face and more animals than I could count. From polar bears and grizzlies to dingos and tigers, this place had it all. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone because theres not too many experiences in life to stand next to a life sized grizzly bear and live to tell the story!

Such a fun find! While they do have taxidermy services of a different variety, this was a very fun place to bring the family to see unique animals and learn about the process. The staff were super accommodating and spent a long time answering everyone's questions. Worth making a stop at!

I absolutely had to come here to write a 5 star review. 100% my go-to store for all things Taxidermy now!I had an obscure request regarding multi-payment options online. Isaac promptly reached back out and offered a resolution. He was very kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. He didn't have to go out of his way for me, but he did. I don't have a single negative thing to say.

Bought 3 mounts from here, one being a big black bear, they were shipped perfectly and arrived pretty quick. We were wondering if he would fit in the spot we wanted our bear to go and it made it super easy to find out with the measurements online, and the one measurement we couldn’t find, we called The Taxidermy Store and the man we spoke to helped us immediately with no troubles. 10/10

We just had an AMAZING Experience with The Taxidermy store and James! From the time James answered the phone he did EVERYTHING he said he would do as we saw "Moose Antlers" on his site! He was personal, honest, helpful and explained everything! Then as promised we had our Moose Antlers in a week! Shipped PERFECTLY in a crate and delivered by a Freight Company that did what they said they would do with also excellent communication! We can't say enough GREAT Things about James and The Taxidermy Team! Thank YOU! Keep up the GREAT work!

Loved going to this store with my sons and our extended family. I was instantly transported back to when I was a kid watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with Shane giving us an incredible tour. If you love conservation, hunting, history and/or understanding more of the natural world this is an awesome place to visit. Definitely will be back.

It's a gem tucked away in central Wisconsin. It's one of a kind and well worth visiting. I enjoyed seeing all the animals, and Shane was an excellent educator about wildlife and history. These guys do some excellent work. My young kids asked lots of questions and enjoyed seeing all the animals.

Amazing educator! Shayne, our tour guide held our interests for over an hour (we had young kids with us). He was patient and very knowledgeable. They have an amazing variety of beautiful animal mounts, yet the educational tour is a must!

We came here with a group from a school I work at. We were given an amazing tour and lots of information! This place is amazing; full of interesting taxidermy and dedicated to conservation and appreciation of animals around the world. You should definitely go if you get a chance just to look around or to buy!

This place is Amazing! I took over a dozen family members, some as young as 6, and they were alert and engaged by the presenter for over an hour. It's not just the quantity of the animals that is impressive, but also the interesting facts revealed about each species. I will take my grandkids here often.

I just received my second set of horns from this company. The seller's photos and descriptions were excellent, but did not do justice to the beauty and size of these African horns. I have never bought an item on the internet that was packaged better and shipped faster than these items from the Taxidermy Store. And this was with free shipping! I honestly could not be happier. You will not regret dealing with this company.

This place must be seen to be believed. Seemingly in the middle of pretty-close-to-nowhere, you step from an unassuming gravel lot into a warehouse wonderland full quite literally to the rafters with incredible taxidermy. The gentleman who welcomed us at the door invited us to look around, and was very generous with his time in answering our questions. He told us that this is the only operation of its kind in the world, and that they supply museums, private collectors, and film productions across the globe. They also source their material from existing skins and taxidermy mounts by partnering with museums and the like to "recycle" and skillfully rework them into new mounts. They do not employ any hunters to take new animals from the wild for their stock. All in all, this is well worth the stop, and will give you a lot to think about, and a new appreciation for the taxidermist's art!

My kids and I attended a field trip to The Taxidermy Store. Since none of us hunt, I did not have high expectations for our experience. However, we left incredibly blessed by our tour! The store was amazing with thousands of animals on display, and the staff was extremely knowledgable. They patiently answered every question asked and went above and beyond to share their expertise with our group. We learned a ton and will definitely be making a follow-up visit in the very near future!

There are so many animals here. And it is so interesting. The staff is so knowledgeable! And the fact that they are buying Taxidermy that is no longer wanted and reselling it, is amazing! Such a great way to reduce waste in United States.
