The best local grocery I could every ask for! Obviously if you're looking for something very specific, you may not find it, but for all of your staples they've got you covered. Produce is always fresh, and the meat department is better than any bigger chain.Staff is exceptional on a regular basis! If they started to stock Tito's, I would only shop there :)

They have good sales at times. They sell some products that are hard to find at other stores. Don't be fooled by the reader board below the store sign, they are open until 8 pm, not 9 (if you look closely the 9 was made into an 8, but it's barely visible).

For being a little town grocery store they carry a wide variety of brands & products. They are a little pricey but they do have good sales & great meat sales a cpl times a year. Staff isn't very friendly. I only stop in there every cpl months but the cashiers are always rude & snotty. P.S. They have amazingly fantastic bagels from their bakery.

Wonderful friendly grocery store with a nice bakery/deli and the best meat around. The Rib Eyes are always tender & full of flavor. This is one of the only stores that I will buy my meat products.

Amherst Family Foods is a small independent grocer in Amherst, WI. I love this grocery store for several reasons: I love that it is a small store. I personally dislike the cavernous feel of the big box grocers. But don't let Amherst Family Foods small size fool you. I've found that it stocks a little bit of just about anything you could ask for! In addition, the employees are friendly and helpful. They even offer to help you take your purchases out to your vehicle. How's that for Customer Service? In summary, Amherst Family Foods is a small hometown grocer with a great selection of items and old-fashioned Customer Service. Check it out; you'll be glad you did! ☺

I love that when I visit my friend instead of driving 30 to the nearest big chain we can drive to here and it only took 10 minutes to get there. Plus no matter what we need/forgot they have saved us and had it. thanks for being around.

Very Clean friendly and helpful small town grocery. His butchery is 2nd to none if you get there RIGHT away. Prices can be a bit high on some things but overall I recommend it!
