I only get into amery hardware store couple times a year The staff is always been excellent as far as prices, I will spend a couple dollars more any day for small town local business versus big box store. for the few Karen's that are on here, piss inin & moaning. smaller stores will always stand up for the rights of local and policy of freedom not what government wants. Like I've said, don't get in there often. Always been pleasant. Generally run into the same gentleman when I do go. He's always been helpful

I called ahead to ask if they had what I needed, I was very specific, guy kind of brushed it off and said yeah we have that, so I left scf menards which didn't have what I needed (often hardware stores will have certain things big box wont) and upon arrival found out they didn't have what I needed so with his help I figured something else out, unfortunately it didn't work out and I came back to return them, which I unfortunately don't do enough. Front desk woman wanted to be an absolute you know what because I opened the plastic baggie in an apparently undiligent manner, told me they don't have to return it and kept trying to scold and shame me because I tore the package in the middle while customers behind me waited, we all waited for her to tape it up and prove her point right that minute. Wasted hours of my time and honestly my customers time then they get to scold me. Would get 1 star besides the fact that I read from other shoppers that they stood up for liberty when many others bowed to covid mandates. absolute you know what though.

Gladly pay a couple bucks more, would use that in gas going to New Richmond or StCroix Falls. Here they don't follow you around breathing down your neck like your taking up their time.

I wanted to support the local small business but the price they charged me for the qt of clear I bought was outrageous. Product usually right around $16.00 at big box store and it was right at $23.00 here. That is close to 50% more! As much as I would like to buy locally, I won’t at these inflated prices. I gave 2 stars because of the pleasant lady who helped me check out, not for the store.

I'm sure they have great products and services. BUT, no one was wearing masks. Not even staff. I was visiting from out of state and am elderly, and concerned about COVID. When I said I was confused since all stores say masks are required. The staff person said they won't stop folks without masks. When I left I read signs on the door that said Governor's order requires masks. Next to that was a sign that said they won't stop you if you enter without a mask. Next to that was a sign that said STAFF MUST WEAR MASKS. I won't go back.Rebecca, Idaho.

Been living in amery all my life and the new guys working there could care less how long u wait. He watched me walk in. Walk by the paints and customer tells him that guy looks to need help. Employee walks to the front still bs with customer that told him i needed help. Think ill take my business else where. Its not gosiup time. Sure miss paul.

I called to ask if the store had one pound propane tanks available. I was told yes 2 hours later I drove 15 miles to the store to get some only to be told they did not have any

We just moved here to Amery and I've been in the store 3 or 4 times now and the employees are so kind and very helpful they know where things are so it sure helps on saving time

Highly over priced on mostly everything. Not a good selection to begin with. Won't be getting anymore of my business. Previous owners and management were a million times better.

Recently moved up to the area and called to see if they would shake a gallon of paint that had settled. Woman I talked to on the phone said yes. I brought in the paint and they won't shake it because it wasn't purchased from them. Disappointed since they never told me that on the phone.

Rented the pontoon trailer. Gears were stripped and it took 20 minutes to get the trailer to drop. They still charged full price.
