I have stayed at many a big name, chain hotel and I have never felt as comfortable or cozy as I have at Forrest Inn.We drove from Illinois for a funeral and after driving for seven hours and taking a cat nap in a Kwik Trip parking lot, I decided to call the hotel and ask how much do they charge for an early check-in and I was told since no one had booked my room, I was more than welcome to come in. We were so grateful as we were dead tired and needed to change clothes so we could head to church on time.Our room was clean, very cozy and comfortable.I've stayed in many hotels, but never had a mini fridge with a freezer that actually froze whatever I put in it. 🤣The shower was pleasantly hot with good water pressure.What I love the most is the small town sense of friendliness, the fur babies visiting the lobby, the friendly staff, and the fact that when we returned from our outing on day two, we found our room clean, the beds made, and fresh towels waiting for us.Having been to Amery many times I have passed up this little gemTheir Continental breakfast has some really good coffee and muffins, plus cereal, yogurt, and other snacks.Price wise we paid a decent price And have enjoyed every Despite being in and out.Definitely will be back and highly recommend to anyone seeking a clean, cozy spot to rest and refresh plus the strip mall is across the street!Rooms: Clean amd cozy

We were on our way to a cabin, and struck a deer. Called the Forrest Inn, and they offered us a deep discount on rooms to stay while we sorted things out.The rooms were clean and comfortable, they gave us rollaway beds, and offered us bottomless coffee while we played backgammon. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, it felt like the best part of staying with family. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only reason I'm giving the rooms four stars is because you can hear everything. I could hear miles away let alone next door. There's no soundproofing here. We couldn't sleep at all. However, the rooms are very comfortable, So if you're a sound sleeper, this is an excellent hotel. It's very cute!!Walkability: There's a strip mall right across from the hotel, a bar and other things so the location is excellent. Sounded like there was also ATVs nearby because we heard them all night so there must be trails.

My kiddo and I stayed at the Forrest Inn while there for a grad party/mom-son mini vaca and I have to say it was the best hotel stay I have ever had. The staff was AMAZING, the room was the cleanest I have ever seen, and the location was great!I am a former Flight Attendant and have stayed in every type of hotel imaginable, and the cleanliness of this entire place is impeccable. If I am ever close to Amery again, I will go out of my way to stay here.The manager and the assistant manager were wonderful and very helpful. If I had any kind of issue, it was taken care of immediately.I can’t say enough good things about this place and their staff.

My wife and I stayed here and could not have been happier. Everyone was great to work with, even though they were very busy. They did not make us seem to be a bother. Rooms were impeccably clean! The bed was comfortable and had great pillows. Pillows were firm and springy. Not the useless pancake pillows so often found in most hotels. Breakfast was cold continental. Wish there was a hot breakfast, but understand the difficulties of that in a smaller hotel. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!!!

Lovely, clean, super affordable AND updated place to stay!!!Beds were exceptionally comfortable with fashionable & fresh new bedding!AC worked great! New "hard" floors through-out: NO YUCKY CARPETING!!Bathroom was very clean. Towels were THICK & felt so luxurious!!Hair dryer in the room but oddly no coffee pot. However, the coffee available in the lobby area was good.Staff was super friendly & always eager to help with recommendations or whatever you might need.We were there for a wedding. As I'm a Wisconsinite but forced to live in Nebraska,I had a hard time leaving: Amery WI is a hidden gem! NowI know why my friends live here!! AWESOME!!!!

We have been staying here off and on for work for the past 5 months. Staff has been extremely helpful and gone above and beyond to accommodate us! Has a real feeling of family. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay...Rooms: Rooms are very clean and spacious.

Nice motel that looked like a log cabin in a nice community. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfy. It was decorated nicely. I like that they don't have carpeting. They have a small fridge with a freezer, a microwave and TV. No coffee in the room but we were able to get a cup after hours. Breakfast was various cereal, yogurts and granola bars. They also had string cheese, pop tarts, pastries, bagels, bottled water, coffee and juice. I would stay here again.

Tried to rent a room for the weekend.My husband is disabled. Needed a room with bathroom grab bars.She had several rooms open. Ironically the only one with grab bars was a whirlpool suite.I was unwilling to pay for the Whirlpool that we would not be using.I asked her if the building was too old for the ADA to apply, she asked me what the Americans with Disabilities act was.(literally first day training for hotel staff)Of all the crazy things as a hotel employee she had never heard of it.As a hotel manager, I was shocked.We left and drove to Turtle Lake instead.

Forrest Inn was excellent and exceeded my expectations. For a motel in a small town, I didn't really expect much, I just needed a place to sleep for the weekend. My family has stayed there for years and never complained, but this was my first time. The first thing I noticed is there have definitely been some upgrades recently. New flooring, nice new bedspreads. It's very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed: bed, shower, TV, mini fridge, microwave, and free WiFi. The woman at the desk was very friendly. What surprised me most was the decent assortment of food and beverages in the lobby. Many hotels these days boast of continental breakfast and only have a granola bar and Greek yogurt. This place actually had fresh pastries, cereal, and lots of different breakfast beverage to choose from. All of this for a very low cost per night. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place in the area.

It's a very great room the air conditioners do take a little bit to heat up but once it going you will be sweating. The downside tho was that we called ahead of time asked for one bed but she said she only had two Wich is fine (yes it cost more) but she then tell us about their electric bill going up from some travel nurses here from Florida and they ran the heat super high so their bill is high well we stayed there again the next week but only for one night and we were able to get a one bed room but it was over 100 for one night and the week before it wasn't as much...prices definitely fluctuate but other then that amazing place to stay!!

What a great place!! Very clean room and great prices! I came into town for some work they had a full house beside a suite and they gave me the normal rate for it!! Teresa at the front desk is amazing at her job! This is the place to stay in amery or surrounding area

If you a disabled person who is planning on staying here, don't bother getting a handicap accessible room. Luckily I have some use in my legs to get in the bathroom. My wheelchair barely fit in the walk way in front of the beds.Just because there are grab bars doesn't make it handicap accessible.Other than being way too small it was a decent stay.

This motel is a gem! Recently remodeled top to bottom with obvious care, craftsmanship, taste and love. Teresa and Paige are a delight! Housekeeping is top notch. Continental breakfast is darn good. Nice little touches in places. An appreciation for our military. Will definitely be back. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. Craig and Judy Kirby.

Great place to stay in Amery! I was extremely impressed. Nice rooms... clean, great water pressure in shower, comfortable beds, mini fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV. Large lobby area with breakfast served daily. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Forrest In is a great place to stay! I stay there every year for a family reunion. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. All of the different types of rooms I've stayed in (regular, jacuzzi, and a suite with a large living room area, dining area, and kitchen!) have been lovely. The breakfast isn't anything terribly exciting, but it's good. Bagels, bread, cereal, fruit, mini donuts, muffins, yogurt, English muffins, and various jams, cream cheeses, and peanut butter are available. There are usually several different types of coffee available, and orange and apple juice. Over all a very nice place to stay!

Very clean and quiet place. Nice manager, helpful. The breakfast room is the lobby, inviting and with a nice selection of yogurt, cereal, breads, fruit and sometimes hard boiled eggs. As I was working in Amery for the week, the manager gave me a discount.
