Favorite grocery store in town. It's very daunting to the uninitiated but its not that hard to navigate. If youre new, just go very early in the morning or later at night. It's 24 hours so that's easy. It gets very crowded during peak times (weekends) so just avoid that and you're good. You just can't beat the prices and the variety of merchandise. The liquor store also has great prices. Meat and produce are always perfect. Plenty of staff and always friendly. Very clean and organized. Always look forward to shopping trips here.

We had never been in a Woodman's before, so stopped in out of curiosity. The store is MASSIVE. The liquor store is in a separate, attached area, and it's also large. I was impressed by the selection of ciders, but really, they had a good selection of everything. We then walked the full store to get a sense of what they had. I arrived at the cheese aisle and stopped in shocked delight. The legends of the diverse quantities of cheese available in Wisconsin grocery stores are indeed true. My husband had to fetch me a handbasket so I could choose things to buy. The prices are incredibly good, too--I don't even want to say what I paid for aged cheddars when we lived in Arizona. Needless to say, I left with a lighter wallet and an intense respect for a store blessed by great cheeses.

Super nice selection of pretty much everything, especially the meat and cheese. Different than Walmart, and is quite quiet. I really like it here, and I plan on coming back for more groceries at some point!

I wish you would not have changed your delivery service. It was practically perfect before. Last week I tried to have an order delivered and was disappointed to see that there were only 2 or 3 hour windows. So I signed up for a 2 hour window. At the last minute I got a text telling me my order would not arrive until between 7-11 am the next day! I wasn’t even going to be home at that time. Then I called the number the store gave me. It wasn’t even in this state! They had no idea what I was talking about and I could barely understand the woman on the other end. I just cancelled the order. I wish you would change back to the way it was before.

We shop there every single Saturday and 'usually' don't have an issue. Last Saturday, we did our normal grocery shopping, bought all the same things we usually do. Opened our Burnette Dairy (2 lbs) of mild cheddar with green cheese. Called store and was told that 'there is nothing we can do.'

Fantastic selection of items. Lots of selections from all over world foods. Unique produce items. Great displays. Be sure to download their app!!! Helps you quickly find the products you are searching for in this mega store. Also, gives comparison prices. Terrific. Check out discounted pastry & bakery goods in front by carts. Have gotten great bargains..like 1.39 for a apple pie..Early hours are great for shopping .Cinnamon muffins from Nikola's Bakery iBloomingtonBloomington, MN were unbelievable.As of 5/10/2022 they are still the store to go to! Fantastic selections.. only thing I haven't found is cinnamon baking chips.

My favorite grocery store. There are a few that stand out to me and we have lived all over the country HEB is one and Woodman's is the other. If you can't find it at Woodman's well then I don't know what to say the selection of products are amazing and the prices are better than most others even in the economy.

Would you believe I drive from Minneapolis just to shop at this Woodman's?? True story. I am a grocery store aficionado and have visited MANY stores across the country and Woodman's truly is my favorite. Their selection and variety of products is unbelievable. Pricing is terrific and regular sales are very inviting. Please, please, please build a new store in Hudson! Minnesota would be very appreciative. Also, please start selling Woodman's merch besides reusable bags (the best, by the way). I'd be proud to wear a ball cap or t-shirt :)

I love that this place is open 24 hours , they have a wide variety of food to pick from with reasonable prices. Not to mention pretty much the best place to get cheap gas in town. Very big store , if you have issues with walking, they have motorcarts available for shopping. Employees were friendly in the grocery store. But it is hard to find someone on the floor for assistance at times. And it is very busy during lunch and dinner times. If you don't want to be in a large crowd of people, don't go at them times. Sometimes, it's hard to find parking.

In town on business and stopped at Woodman's. Wow! What a great grocery store. People think it's weird, but I travel for work and I like to see all of the local grocery stores in the different cities I go to. This is a massive store with great selection. They have an attached liquor /beer store as well which is also massive. One star taken away as they only accept discover for a credit card. I have never been to a business that only accepts discover. I did not know this, and got to the self checkout and realized I couldn't use my Visa. Luckily I had cash otherwise I would have to put everything back. I would honestly pay a percent premium just so I'd have the convenience of using a card.

The worst customer service. Was there today and spent over $100 and didn't realize our bread was smushed in the cart. Our cashier (pretty sure her name was Sara) with red hair and glasses saw the ruined loaf of bread, didn't say anything to us, and still scanned the bread. Luckily I saw the smushed bread on the counter, waiting to be bagged. I said to her that I'm not sure what happened to the bread, but we don't want it in its current condition, asking for another new loaf. The cashier got defensive and said it was like that in the cart and that the store would "lose money" if we didn't purchase the ruined bread. She didn't offer to send someone to get us another loaf. I explained that it was an accident, and at another store, they would be more than happy to just replace it. The cashier didn't respond but only cancelled the price for the bad bread. It was then the really young bagger stepped up and just got us a new loaf.Literally never dealt with such horrible service even at Walmart!

Self check out makes me want to throw my items across the store. Scanners don’t work half the time. The belts stop me from scanning my things and it makes me feel like i’m going to have a brain aneurysm

It's a good store. Nothing personally wrong. But for me it was scary to big and to confusing to maneuver. No one should have to use a map to shop. It was to much, and I left.

We drive 40 minutes one way just to go shopping at Woodmens. We love that they have bulk stuff too. If you haven't checked them out, please do. Only complaint is the Bakery is way to small. Would love to see a bigger display for Bakery.

A Minnesotan visited your extra fine, Grocery Market, and was very amazed and impressed with all the different products that were offered throughout your store! If you can't find what you're looking for inside Woodman's, chances are that the item is no longer produced or sold! Diffentely a Food Paradise! Highly recommend and will be a returning customer!

Huge grocery store with a variety of ethnic foods . They also have a huge cheese section . Some things more expensive than others . They also have a liquor store in the store . Make sure you pay attention to the price signs on produce, I was over charged and then charged for apples I never purchased .

Had 14 items to purchase. Got in a “self serve 20 item” checkout lane. I was checking myself out and had three items left when a worker approaches me, says “I need to move you”, hits a button on the checkout machine and jumps in to scan my last three items. Apparently, I was going too slow in the “self checkout lane”. The worker claims she needed to speed things up. I’m not upset with someone checking my items out. I’m upset that I was treated rudely in a self checkout lane. Some of us choose self checkout so we don’t have to deal with rude employees.

We shop here weekly. I would say that they train their baggers to put every canned good you buy into one bag, if I thought they trained them how to bag at all. 3 stars are for selection and reasonable pricesUPDATE:One week later and same thing. Every can we purchased in the same bag until my husband told the bagger that was enough cans in one bag. Do better Woodmans! Down another star

Woodman's is our grocery store of choice. Good selection of brands. We really like the fresh vegetables and fruit. The staff work hard to get everyone checked out and on their way.

Very large selection of groceries great prices also. The biggest drawback to the store is the automatic checkout machines. Half of them are card only. When I have just a couple of items I pay with cash and the cash and card machines are always busy so I have to wait. There are never enough actual checkers to go that way. Then when you finally get a machine it always says to place item in the bagging area even when it is. I told the person watching the area they should get this fixed. He said this isn't Walmart. I said back to him you mean where the machines work correctly. He just looked at me not knowing what to say.

On this particular visit, I was measurably pleased as I'd been looking forever (to no avail) for a product I use to buy regularly from the Ona store. Haven't seen it there in several months and, frankly, no one has ever spent more than 20 seconds helping me with my search either.Anyway, I asked at the customer service desk. She contacted produce n directed me to a different area of the store. When I didn't see them there, I started toward produce to inquire.A young man was already en route to my location to inform me where he'd otherwise learned they should be! 😱We both looked n couldn't find them, but I happened to notice the brand name (had only been looking for what I knew the pkg to look like). Sure enough, the company had changed their packaging! I HATE when they do that..... 🤦‍♀️Point is this young man didn't just ignore that I'd been inadvertently misdirected, AND he didn't just glance n run immediately.Dog gone it! I thanked him by name at the time, but NOW I don't recall his name. I'm sorry. But GREAT job at assisting a customer deserves kudos. 🙆‍♀️

A lot of variety of food, not real expensive and quite large. The only negative thing is when I wanted to get gas at their gas station the pump wouldn't recognize my card no matter what I tried and the day I visited it was too cold to mess around any longer so I gave up and got gas elsewhere

This Woodmans is very nice. It is designed just like the one in Eau Claire WI. I've been to both. I've been to 5 different ones, including Janesville. West side Madison, one needs help. To me, it's dirty. The others around Madison are good.

Was a fun place to visit while in town. Chip aisle goes on and on as the eye can see! Comparable prices to other grocery stores. I think they have a lot more to choose from as well. Clean, affordable prices, will be back, and do recommend!!!

It's what you expect from a grocery store, except the only cc they accept is discover so make sure you have cash or debit.I will also say the parking lot is a nightmare but that has little to do with the store. Just a warning
