A little informal service. We reunited to celebrate my friends birthday. She called in advance to reserve a table for 12. We arrived and there was no table under her name. They put together some tables for us. When the birthday girl arrived, she was surprised that we were not sitting on the corner spaced she had reserved. They have good cocktails, although the sangria had way too much ice!Overall a good place to go for a selection of wines and cocktails.I will come back to see if the service has improved.

What a fun atmosphere overlooking the River wall area! Great rooftop bar, excellent selection of wine to go, and a well stocked bar for any occasion. Staff was amazing and the owner took time out of his busy night to talk to us and tell us just a small bit of history of the area and how there dream became a reality for them ! We highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

If you are wanting craft cocktails and a relaxed sophisticated atmosphere. Then this place is an absolute must go to!!! They have a large selection of liquors, wines and hand made cocktails. If you are needing a bite to eat as well then you will have the perfect selection of handmade charcuterie boards, snacks, soft pretzels and select sandwiches. Definitely will be coming here again!!!

What a find! Stopped by for coffee and a snack after walking the River Prairie trails. The place is gorgeous: stunning bar, comfy seating, lots of glass and light, high celling, beautiful light fixtures - kind of a modern European feel.We were greeted warmly and then seated ourselves.Our server, David, was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. We had espresso, chai, and shared the non-cheese charcuterie board. The board was accompanied by a warm crusty loaf of thickly sliced bread (GF avail-able) that I used to make the most delicious little prosciutto sandwiches. Another memorable treat was the positively addictive rosemary walnuts. We decided to split dessert and chose a slice of the flourless chocolate cake. The cake was accented by some raspberries that leant a perfect pop of brightness to the rich, Belgian chocolate cake. This was simple food done perfectly and we loved it. So much so that I brought my husband and daughter back later that afternoon for the cheese charcuterie board, sandwiches and drinks. Same great service and delicious, fresh food.This warm, sophisticated, and charming place is a gem.

Unique cocktail menu and a retro, romantic atmosphere. Kind of a lounge setting. Highly recommend this wine bar- a must see if you’re visiting Eau Claire!

The entire place was beautiful! The service was great and the owners were present and making sure everyone was having a wonderful time. There is plenty of seating options and is a fantastic place to unwind relax and have a bit of fun.

Red wine is chilled: $16 glass of Cabernet.I asked for a second glass that’s at room temperature and was told ‘the only reason it’s chilled is because we put it in the fridge to preserve the wine’I ended up getting their house wine because that one is the only one that would be a room temp…was also chilled.There are no wine flights.This is my 3rd visit and I’ve been disappointed at every visit.The cheese for the pretzel was chunky. (A $2.50 upgrade)

Tried this place out last night and loved it!! Great drinks and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. I recommend their penicillin cocktail! I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area again.

As soon as you walk in, you can tell the owners carefully curated everything in the space. Even the bar stools were beautiful and actually comfortable! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and bartender was very attentive and had excellent recommendation on drinks based on what I said was my "usual". The soft pretzel with mustard was delicious and the olive selection was excellent. My husband and I will definitely be back soon!

Enjoyed a respite in Eau Claire at this nice wine, cocktail, coffee bar with light bites & boards and an interesting selection of wines. As a spoiled Cabernet aficionado, I was delighted to try a Chardonnay that I had never had the pleasure of tasting. Love expanding the wine palate and this lovely place was inviting and loved the ambiance and service here. Give it a visit if you are in the area.

Classy place. They should get some laminated menus, the paper ones are tacky. Lots of different drinks to choose from. Wine is higher end. They do offer domestic beers and some small bites to eat. The wait staff is very attentive.

Forgot pics, but Helix, Dang! 10/10. Fig goat cheese app, turkey sandwich, olive tray, meat charcuterie board, and those cookies 😍.... the wine recommendations based on our favorites was spot on. ( Thank you Lisa!) We had so much fun. So good that we bought a half a case based on their suggestions. Pricing on wines is better than Woodman's. Our new wine destination. Thank you Helix! ❤️❤️❤️

Not impressed with the secondary service and assuming drink makers. Ordered a on tap red and a Americano with balieys. The wine was gimmicky/ overrated for a $14 glass. Got charged $2 more for balieys because the bartender put a 1/2 oz. more balieys in it. There was no way I could tell.when we got the bill I brought it up to our server, who was great. Then we got confronted by the bartender who very loudly explained that she added more without instructions. Her handling of the situation was horrible. We paid for her mistakes and left. Nice to try once. The management practices of precision drinks are petty when you are already over paying for drinks.

Unfortunately went at the wrong time, when they were short a waiter. We waited 30 minutes and ordered a drink from the bar, Delicious drink! (Ox mule). We then waited another 40 to figure out if we had a waiter or just go to the bar. When we went to tab out we expressed our concern about sitting at a 2 top with zero service for over an hour and the owner apologized and paid for our drinks. Definitely will give them a second chance in the near future, just unfortunate our first experience was not great. With that said the mixologist was phenomenal, he got our order in and personally served them to our table.

Helix is a delightful new spot with top notch wines, delightful nibbly bits, and service than can't be beat! This is a must stop spot, you won't be disappointed. The owners will help the wine novice navigate their way to the perfect wine, and for the connoisseurr they will help find a new favorite you didn't even know you loved. This is our new favorite spot, we'll meet you here soon!

The German crumb cake for the Cafe service in the morning is AMAZING! Very comfortable and attractive bar at night as well. Enjoyed the refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail myself!

Great concept, beautiful place, but just walked out after waiting 40 min. for our drinks. Yikes! Maybe you need more than one bartender on a Saturday. Work out the bugs and we will be back.

This is what we needed in the area! Someplace where you can enjoy a simple drink, or have a complex cocktail.The wine and whiskey selection is not too bad. I look forward to frequenting this joint and seeing the offerings change throughout the year.
