Update 1/16/24: they changed the nachos and/or whoever was making them make them smaller and with not very much chicken (for $2 extra). I'll add a photo.The food overall was fantastic. A friend ordered fried pickles and wasn't the happiest with them because the pickles kept slipping out of the deep fry shell. But she said they tasted good still, and the rest of the group had absolutely no complaints on food.The atmosphere on the second story patio is *muah* 😘 (chef's kiss). Go there on a nice day, and you won't be disappointed. The river goes by right behind the business, and there is an eagle's nest across the river.They have friendly staff too! We will be coming back 😊

My wife and I came to this place quite regularly, couple times a week. Food has mostly been good, service has always been pleasant, and they have a good happy hour. That said, this last time we visited there was a new addition to your bill showing a price if you paid with cash...which is your advertised pricing, and a price you pay with a credit card....which has an included fee with it. This isn't a large sum of money, but it is a fee...a fee that is not advertised anywhere until you get your bill. It is a shady practice. Instead of giving me reasons to revisit your restaurant you've given me a reason to find another place to bring my business.

We love to visit Cowboy Jacks when we are in town! The food is excellent - GF options galore!!! And the atmosphere is fun while providing the space to share a family meal (and hear everyone at the table!). The service is top notch - no issues with the large group we take! 8+ folks can be a challenge but the food is always quick, hot, delicious and correct 💯Dietary restrictions: Dairy free and gluten free options! The GF options are amazing 😍 as someone with Celiacs this is my favorite place in Eau Claire!!!

Amazing! This is my new favorite place. They have keto options right on the menu (Thank You!), including cauliflower crust pizza which was so tasty and flavorful. The dry rub wings are better than my favorite place in Texas! Can't wait to get back here. Plus the decor and atmosphere and the staff is so welcoming. Great experience! ❤️

Went on a Saturday night around 11pm and the place was dead. Ordered cheese curds that were very small and not at all what cheese curds should be. Saw a mouse running across the ceiling rafters. Grossed me out to say the least. Service was good overall. Was nearby for a trip and don't ever plan visiting again. Id pass on this place if you're in the area.

Great atmosphere and plenty of staff working. I have to get used to Happy Hour in WI. In IL it’s illegal so a bonus is cheap drinks and some half price apps.We started with the meatball apps. They were very good and came with little onion rings. I had the Blackened Walleye. It was good but could use more spice. The Cole slaw, I would pass. It had an oil on it with some kind of seeds, not a fan. Ill definitely go back to try some pizzas. They sounded great.

Cowboy Jack’s is a hoppin place. The crowd is deep…young and old. There is a mixture of locals and visitors staying just around the corner at the StayBridge Hotel.The river walk and outdoor patio are nice in the spring. Food is very good across the board. Best item is the bourbon sirracha wings with blue cheese.

I think I accidentally rated this as a 2 star somehow but we were happy with our food, the pizzas were amazing! My only complaint was I asked if they had diet Coke and was told yes. My entire family then ordered coke products only to be informed they only had Pepsi when they were delivered... Most of us would have ordered differently if we knew. "Is Pepsi ok?" Shouldn't be too much to ask...

This place is always a win. They do have great happy hour deals. The place is pretty big so it's good for groups. Food is always good and the drinks are great too. I have had thier bloody Mary's and they are delish! The bathrooms are very clean but can be a little bit cold in the winter. Speaking of winter, the area behind the bar is so nice a toasty warm with the fire places burning. So cozy. I'd have to say too that the service has almost always been great! One night we were sitting in the fireplace area and a staff person was cleaning and moving tables around and that was really loud. Other than that excellent service.

The decor is very pleasing and a change from the normal decor of other eating establishments. My wife had the brisket it had a nice smoke ring and flavor it was just too dry. I had the patty melt with bison tasted great and flavor full. Wait staff was great very attentive with a wonderful attitude and very friendly.

You can’t beat the atmosphere here! The outdoor patio is beautiful! Unfortunately, I won’t be going back. I’ve been traveling here for work over the past several months it’s next to the hotel). The wait to get drinks, and food to be delivered takes forever (even when it isn’t crowded). Last time my food wasn’t cooked all the way. They close down early even when guests are still there. The fire pits get turned off, and they send staff home way earlier than they should. In the 9 times I’ve been here, I have never once seen a manager. The food is over priced for what it is. Over all, this place has great potential, but with horrible service, and mediocre food, high prices, and poor experience on several occasions, I would recommend you try another restaurant before coming here! Look at the pictures of the place online and you will have experienced the best part!

Not a bad location. I came in pretty hungry and I ordered the walleye fingers by myself. Big mistake. Be care if the appetizers and get the real food (burgers, pulled pork, etc.) alough I had a good time. The appetizers will “bite” you in the end. Nice bar keep tho go, she was nice.
