They are amazing!!! I called in a panic on a Sunday because my dog was having tremors and could not walk. They met me at the clinic and diagnosed her with toxic poisoning. We got meds and went home. At 8pm I finally figured out what she had gotten into and called again. The vet met me again at the clinic for new meds. Wonderful people! Dr Joan truly cares!

Our dog Daisy had been sick for awhile. Thinking it was intestinal we were given meds and sent home. 10 days later I returned home to find her in great pain and discomfort! Checked her belly which seemed larger then normal and it hurt to touch! I knew we had to have her looked at now! Called our Veterinarian in Wabasha MN and was told they were booked. We left a message looking for details and no call back. Called Alma Veterinarian and they were booked as well but would see our baby. We rushed over and was met with open arms and 3 vets to help get her out of our vehicle. Beyond grateful for the care they showed us! Amazing group of people that cared for our dog as much as we do!!!

Our Black Lab was sick for a couple months, until all at once she took a really bad turn, her usual vet in Wabasha wanted us to wait 4 days before they could see her cause they didn’t have any openings, we put her in the car determined that someone WAS going to look at her, last minute I thought of Alma Vet, called them and shared a few details of her condition, they were booked solid with appts but said to bring her in, within 10 minutes there were 3 people at the door to help us bring Daisy in out of the car, and Dr Ludwigson had made room for her to be examined and X-rayed, and treated all of us like we were family. We’ve never been there before. We will be forever grateful, and will continue to bring all of our pets there for anything they need in the future. This is a TRUE Vet!!
