Wanting purchase a gift card for a birthday gift and expecting to use VISA to pay for it over the phone I was told I needed to come in the store to do it! I live 300 miles away. Ridiculous!

Didn't get any better after Festival Foods took over. Meat quality two thumbs down. New self checkouts ruin this old school small town grocery store. Friendly employees is the only good thing going for this location.

Very expensive! I pushed 3 star's by accident. Extremely expensive for the elderly and locals. You have to drive to Kewaunee to the pig or to green bay to festival to get groceries. You would think being owned by festival foods they would have the same prices as festival foods in green bay. But they don't they are gouging the people of Algoma and forcing people to shop out of town. I always liked to shop locally but not at those prices.

This is a great small town grocery that has a good selection. The thing that makes it special is how friendly and inviting all the staff are. I like how they bring in exotic fruits and plant-based or vegetarian/vegan items. It feels very well thought out and customer-focused.

We ordered 7 very large cheese/sausage, vegetable and fruit trays for appetizers for my son's wedding reception. Wow, what service! Christi, who helped me immensely, walked me through the sizes, what they look like, how many they would serve, and provided recommendations. Besides that, she gave me her cell number to get pics of the trays and exchange order information. This was the most personalized and helpful service I say I've ever gotten! She also helped me arrange delivery of the trays. Thank you for making this so easy for me! And- nearly every bit of those appetizers was gobbled down! Fruit and veggies were fresh, and the cheese and sausage were tasty. Trays looked very nice as well.

Friendly, convenient, and for a small grocery store they have an amazing variety of goods. Their meat department is fresh daily and the meat prices are out of this world!! Because there is no middle man the meat is very affordable. Each week they have new sales on products people commonly use most. I highly recommend this store 😁👍

I am always a little doubtful about small town grocery stores. This place has a great selection and fresh meat, cheese and fruit and veggies. No need to go into Sturgeon Bay. Higher price but we'll worth for the convenience.

Great grocery store. I shop here everytime I am in town. Best part about it is the variety and hard to find food items. I live near Milwaukee and certain things I cannot find down there I can actually get here. So I stock up when in town. Prices are very reasonable. The employees are very nice and super helpful if you have questions. I also found out if they don't have what you need in stock they will order it for you! So awesome! Veey neat and tidy as well.

Denny's Super Value is a great store. They have large selections and help you to find what you want or make it for you. The management and emoyees are kind and respect their customers. It is the finest store in the area.

I have shopped here since 1983. That on its own should tell you something. This store is all about selection, good prices, deli service, and fantastic customer service. Up to date store attracts local and tourist traffic. Denny's will always be my store.

Ok, so I personally went with my grandpa just after we got done with the post office, and I secretly noticed not only were some of the associates that still weren't wearing face coverings, but they were just wearing casual clothing, like seriously, did the owners literally had not issued their dress code policy now. But, I guess this is what happens when a business like this is starting to lose business when they don't have enough employees But, overall it was fine going in way back from in previous years, but now, this business is starting to derail when it comes to the change of the coronavirus pandemic. I mean, when I still work over in my job at Festival Foods, they always issue their required dress code policy, but this store doesn't anymore! So, I be careful when trying to come in here again, or I can't wait to find out what happens when they close it down.

Always great sales and if I have any questions they are always helpful! You can tell there is pride in their business by how clean they keep their store and the parking lot. The shelves are well stocked.

Staff not wearing masks as they stock. Most customers not wearing masks. Dangerous for everyone! Common sense people. I use to drive from Sturgeon Bay on Fridays just to shop there. Not any more. Not worth the risk.

Decent little grocery store for the area. We usually can find what we need to get by for a week or so. I wouldn't buy bulk here, but the day to day items and getting fresh food, this is a good place to get it.

They definatly have a larger selection of grocery products than the Piggly Wiggly.Although there prices are considerably higher and there deli and bakery departments are weak, hardly any selection of baked goods. " cakes, cupcakes, sweet rolls. don't know why they even waist there time having a bakery and deli?

The owners (both Husband & Wife) are stellar individuals, but they have at least one loose cannon in their rouster... older grey-haired woman that denied my (Native American) wife access to the store's cash back option at the register... when she asked "how much can i get back in cash?", the woman took one cold hard look at her and replied, "The ATM is over there, we don't do that". Me, being 100% anglo-saxon can testify that THEE SAME WOMAN has given me cash back........?!?!! Nonetheless, the store in general is great. Awesome selection in craft beers & some organic items.
