I had the best experience with Dr. Hinz at Best Friends Veterinary Center. My dog is very timid with new people and everyone at the clinic went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe and comfortable at his first appointment. I am so happy to have my dog be a patient of Dr. Hinz and to know that he has a new veterinary home where he is so well cared for.

When they say low stress vet visits they mean it! My dog, who typically comes back from vaccines and blood work with her tail tucked and nervous, had no such reaction at Best Friends. She was jumping, wagging her tail and almost smiling as if to say, look mom, I did it! I got my vaccines and I'm ok. This is the best place to take your furry friends for check ups!

I will never go to another vet as long as I have pets. Best Friends has impressed me every single time I have visited. I have two large dogs, a Rottweiler and a German Shephard, and the entire staff welcomes them with open arms! They are treated like celebrities everytime we come in. You can tell they genuinely care about the pets they care for! My Rottweiler is very anxious when it comes to the vet, but the staff always makes her feel welcome and gives her EXTRA treats for being a good girl! They explain every charge at the start of your visit so there are no surprises when you pay. I cannot say enough nice things about Best Friends and the entire staff from the vets/ owners to the entire front desk/assistant. Raven and Rogue will be lifelong customers! <3

I bought my bunny in a little while ago. I have struggled to find a knowledgeable vet that is able to take care of rabbits. I was getting him fixed to help with aggression. The surgery itself had no issues, but he had a bandage on his leg where they took blood. I was told by the lady discharging him that I should leave the bandage on his leg for two weeks. I was also told not to let him have free range as normal but to keep him in a small cage for a few weeks. Because he was in a small space, I wasn't able to notice he was limping until I went to remove the bandage a week later. He had started to chew the bandage and his leg so it would come off because it was very tight. I had to soak the bandage in water because it had become crusted on. His leg was very injured. I took him into a different vet, and they were amazing! They were decently priced and very knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone take their rabbits and guinea pigs to Cedarburg Veterinary Clinc. My bunny is doing well now, but he does have permanent scarring and a limp from the bandage.

Worst vet I've ever been to in terms of nickel and diming you over everything. They have both an "office visit" and "exam" fee that they aren't very up front about, so you're generally being charged double or triple the cost of whatever you come in for, including on follow up visits. They also constantly upsell you on everything the entire visit. We won't be coming back.

My 14 year old chi had to have all his teeth extracted this week. I was a nervous wreck. He recovered much quicker than I ever anticipated. Dr. Boss did an amazing job. The whole staff was wonderful and friendly. I will never take him anywhere else. ❤

I adopted my rescue puppy 6 weeks ago and Best Friends veterinary Center has been absolutely amazing in making this transition go smoothly. My dog is fearful of new people and BFVC has been nothing but kind, supportive, understanding, and patient. Dr. Paige Wilder is so knowledgeable and friendly. The techs, especially Olivia and Allie have been patient and supportive of building a trusting relationship with my dog. Front desk staff is also excited to see us and have provided great customer service and been extremely helpful in person and over the phone when I have questions. I feel that BFVC provides the best care for my dog. I would recommend BFVC to anyone with a pet.

Best friends saved my dogs life. They put on their super hero capes and preformed an emergency surgery after walter ate a plastic fruit filled candy. It perforated his colon and he did not have a good looking outcome. Dr boss and her staff are so caring and are in the vet world for the best reason, To save our furry friends. Thank you is not even close to the best word I can think of to show my gratitude. You are all angels. At our follow up the love walter was given was so beautiful! Great people , great vet.

My dog is usually fearful of people and therefore aggressive (although she acts better around the vet for some reason) and my vet is so sweet, so helpful. She specializes with older dogs and I love her she is the only doctor I feel comfortable with. I can’t tell you how nice she is and how comfortable my dog is with her…. My dog is so fearful of new people at our house, we’ve only seen this vet 3x and my dog was so comfortable with her and from what I’ve heard, no aggressive reactions. My pet unfortunately has to be put down and she was so respectful about the conversation and gave us every option, every surgery we could do instead of putting her down which I was so grateful for. My mom has a PHD and recommended against it due to my dog’s age and my doctor understood that it would be hard on my dog and didn’t push surgery. I am spending every moment I can with my dog and in these final weeks I am so thankful I went to best friends and found the very best vet that I could. The assistants are very sweet and caring as well. Seriously the best vet that I’ve been to. My vet deserves a raise!!!! Thank you so much to all of you. This post makes me emotional.

Excellent Vets. They are up to date on the latest and greatest ideas in pet care. Most necessary labs and imaging are done in house. All those tools can be expensive though. For my pets it has been worth it.

I’ve been coming here for the last 1.5 years with my Golden retriever, who was a baby when we started seeing Dr. Boss. She’s addressed all our concerns about behaviors and health, his neuter surgery went very well and everyone who works at the office has been so kind and friendly.

Very disappointed with Best Friends. We have been coming to this vet for the past nine years and have always had good care even though it’s very expensive. My dog went in for teeth cleaning and with possible teeth extractions. My wife signed a consent form that said if they were going to take teeth out they would call us first. We received no call only after the fact. 13 teeth and over a $1,500 bill. Yes, we understand that some breeds have worse decay than others and we are not complaining about the state of his teeth but when the consent form states they will call this is a breach of trust. Also, the estimate said $800 to about $1,100. This is not acceptable.

Expensive! I take my Service dog here because it's literally walking distance from my home BUT I can't understand why I pay premium prices to see techs at this clinic. I can't understand why when I'm at the clinic with my dog and have a concern, I'm told I have to pay another fee to have a Vet come into the room to talk to me about it.I'll start looking for a new place. I expect my Vet to see my dog when I take him in. I expect my Vet to answer my questions and not charge me additional fees for each concern if I'm already in the office with my dog. I don't understand this clinic's policies. They are very professional. They have a large practice. It's hard to get in to see Vets here so obviously people like them.I like my Vet. The one time I saw her she seemed very nice and extremely competent. I thought it was going to be a good match but evidently $270 only gets you a tech at THIS clinic! While, I'm disappointed, I am adult enough to admit, I'm just not rich enough for this place. I'll surrender my spot to someone who can afford this wonderful care -- and, for those who can afford it, it is AMAZING pet care!

Dr Boss, Dr Wilder, and the staff are wonderful. They have have taken excellent care of my pets and explain everything in a way that's easy to understand.
