Dollar General recently remodeled their store which is a major improvement. The freezer section is larger and has an increased selection of frozen foods and dairy products. The aisle are more easily accessible and the flow of the store is much better. I find the current staff competent and friendly. With the new remodel of the store their is more selection and new items added. I am in this Dollar General frequently and is most convenient. Parking at times can be a bit chaotic but they are limited in the amount of property they own. However after the post office next door closes you are able to park ther as well. Prior to the remodeling of the store, especially during the evening hours the registers were unattended but that has improved. They now have a self service register which I’m not find if in any store. I find that it takes jobs away from people that need a place to work. Most of the time I’ll stand in line and wait my turn for a register with a person working. I have only used the self checkout around 5 times and that is only because I was in a hurry and had was unable to wait.Overall this Dollar General is a convenient and friendly place to shop.

This place is actually becoming the best for your essential home needs at a lower costs. Paper plates plastic ware paper towels toilet tissue razors shave cream etc etcName brands discounted .Fast and convenient. Practically on every other corner.

I go to Winfield Dollar General quite frequently.I rarely don't come out with what I go in for.They keep their shelves stocked to the best of their availability.And several of the employees are great,EXP Crystal Casto I believe.I know if she's working that day,I'll be in and out with her insanely vast knowledge of the entire stores contents and exactly where everything is.

Yes this is your basic dollar general. It is clean and usually well stocked, (you know life sometimes, not enough time in a day to get everything done and also help customers). Yes sometimes the isles can be cramped due to new inventory and yes the parking lot is in need of attention. But what I like the most about this store is the folks that run it. Idk who the manager is, but the employees usually seem happy and that means happy environment. Kiddos to them for keeping the moral up. I think one time a while ago I was in there and was listening to this nasty girl talking trash about the manager. Honestly from the way she was speaking, to me the problem was her and her attitude not the manager. I love that this is my local dollar general.❤️

I was ready to check out and the cashier was clear in the back putting up.truck. I hollered and had to wait about 5 minutes there were like 2 others behind me. I mean I could of walked out with all my things but I was honest and didn't. There should always be someone in the front.

love this Store. Walmart 14 miles away. I wish it had meat and Bananas. I wish the clothes where in a larger space (too crowded). I love the clothes. I am glad they have plus size.

Cleaner store than most of the DG's I have had occasion to visit. Aisles were a little bit congested as the they were trying to get new stock on the shelves. Clerk apologized for the "mess" and said they had just had a delivery and we're trying to get cleared as soon as they could but were a little short staffed and they were a bit busier than normal.

This Dollar General is normally very busy. It can be hard to get in and out of at time. Overall it is pretty good. If I was in the area and needed something I would go here.

People are nice at this Dollar General. Place is well stocked and check out is fast. This is store is a blessing for the people in the area as Walmart and other stores are far.

By far one of my favorite dollar stores. Always clean and very friendly staff. It's close to home , and they almost always have any item I'm in search of .

Aisles are not easily accessible. The DG go is usually cluttered with merchandise and often times not charged. Would love to see the place better organized and the DG go more easily accessible.

Walked in the store, they still have glass cokes made in Mexico! Nice staff too.

Winfield and buffalo stores are the two I recommend in Putnam county. They have a wider array of products.
