Fabulous rest area juts over the Ohio border before the mountains and not too many places to stop. Love the chairs inside and plenty of vending machines. Love the aesthetic.

Very well organized.Spacious, clean and ample facilities.The welcome center has an abundance of information about things to do and see in West Virginia.Interesting displays specifically about WV, it's history, it's culture, as well as unique facts & tid bits.The outside rest area has very nice and well appointed facilities. With multiple covered pavilions and pathways.Something peculiar to this rest area is that they have two exterior seperate and fenced in pet walking areas. We found that unique and an excellent way to let your dog get some safe & secure exercise!

First reststop we always hit every year on family beach vacation.Clean well stocked bathrooms and great outdoor areas to sit, stretch, relax, and get fresh air.Nice small Pollinator garden area, too.

Nice and clean restrooms.The walk to the entrance was wasn't lit up as well for a late nite restroom break being a woman and walking through parking lot didn't see security until I got inside. Outside security presence would be a good suggestion. Overall had great tourist information.

Lovely little area to stretch your legs after driving long periods of time. Bathrooms are always super clean and it's a safe place! I feel comfortable as a woman being alone and not having to worry about my safety, which is huge these days with all the crazy things that go on in our world!

I stopped by the Welcome Center in Williamstown, WV, and was pleasantly surprised. The center is well-maintained and clean and warmly welcomes travelers. The staff are helpful and friendly and are prepared to reply to any inquiries regarding the area. Brochures and maps can be obtained to plan your journey to West Virginia. Furthermore, it's a good spot for a break from driving by enabling you to stretch your legs. It is certainly a pleasant spot to begin your West Virginia adventure!

Because this rest area is not easily seen from I77, people don't realize how nice this stop is. Not only are the facilities nice and clean, but there are separate areas for large dogs & small dogs.In addition, parking is close to the building. Therefore, it is a quick in and out.

The best rest area, welcome centre in this area, definitely worth a stop over.They have a small museum with exhibits, super clean well kept restrooms, ample parking space, lots of space to sit and relax, welcome sign of West Virginia.I would definitely recommend this place.

A very clean facility. Attendants on duty 24 hours a day ensures this place will always be happy to to snuff. Decent amount of parking for cars and trucks.RV dump station.Fresh water tank fill-up.Exterior building architecture is somewhat reminiscent of a church.

This is a great Rest Area just across the river from Ohio on I77 and can be visited from Northbound or Southbound. They do have vending machines and the restrooms were clean. They have plenty of brochures of places to see and things to do while here in West Virginia. If nothing else, a good place to stop and stretch your legs.

Pure excellence! This center is super easy to get to from the expressway and even easier to exit from back onto the expressway. It's safe and there's plenty of convenient parking. The facilities and grounds are well-maintained and there's even a lovely seating area inside to just kick back for a spell and rest your traveling bones. If you need a stop, this is the place!

This was probably the best rest area I've been to. It's not on the side of the highway like most but right off an exit. It's setup like a log cabin inside and the bathrooms are clean yet odd in they are sperated into two different ones. I guess this allows them to clean one while leaving other side open.

Has two long dog runs for both large and small dogs. So great to get an off leash secured break for the pup. Bathrooms clean and area nice.

Very nice information center. Many pamphlets available for local area as well as the entire state. When staff are present they can answer most questions and are very hospitable. Clean facilities. Rv dump station available, but the water hookup is often unusable. And non-potable only.

Love this Welcome Center. Cleanest one I have ever been to. We always stop here when I go see my Nana. Plenty of bathrooms, vending machines, pamphlets, picnic tables outside, seating inside, and a dog area with fencing for small and big dogs separately.

A good place to stop. The restrooms are clean and there are a bunch of information pamphlets about all the great things nearby. There is plenty of parking and some nice outdoor areas. All in all this is a good place to stop and stretch, take a break or even learn about West Virginia!
