Absolutely wonderful. I called because I was having a hard time finding someone that would do jewelry repair on an antique ring from the great depression. It was my great grandmother's wedding band. And although I ultimately decided to go with my Aunts jeweler who specializes in antique jewelry restoration in another state I did have them fix my wedding band which isn't nearly as old. The prongs to one of the diamonds on my band had sheared off and I had lost the diamond. They actually got my band fixed extremely quickly and didn't charge me and arm, leg and vital organ. I am so happy and am incredibly grateful!! They did a wonderful job.

I needed some work done on my husbands grandmothers wedding ring from 1933. The craftsmanship exceded my expectations. They put a new band, new prongs and made it glisten like it was brand new. I highly recommend this place.

Had a 10-year old leather bracelet whose clasp was falling apart. Although acknowledging they didn't work much with leather, they worked through options with me when I told them it was a sentimental piece. They found a clasp on an inexpensive bracelet that was almost a perfect match - purchased that and then attached it seamlessly to my old bracelet. Extremely pleased at the care, attentiveness, worksmanship and price. Nothing but good things to say about my experience at this store.

Very positive experience here and I will be returning for sure. Links removed and batteries replaced for an old Swiss Army and Casio. Also band replacement for an old Guess watch as well as a Seiko that belonged to my Dad. The watches took on a new life.

I went in to have my husband's watch fixed. The store is beautiful and very well stocked. Joe was able to fix the watch in a matter of minutes! They also offer free layaway and Christmas is going to be here before you know it! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown.

I see why there are so many 5 🌟 ratings! I don't know the man's name but he was so nice & friendly and foremost, took care of what I needed done with my watch. It was 10 minutes before closing, so I wasn't sure how lucky I would get but he made it seem like he had all the time in the world for whatever I needed! During conversation, I said I was new to town and he even gave me info on the area. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who has watch or jewelry needs!

Worked with Carol to purchase a pendant and chain for an OVGH Alumni award recipient, she was wonderful to work with. The pendant needed to be engraved and I was quite surprised when she called me and said it was ready within a couple days. It turned out beautiful and she even gift wrapped it for me. Dropped a ring off to get it resized. Very kind, and helpful customer service. It's nice because they do the sizing right there instead of having it sent away. I was able to pick my ring back up within 3 days, and for a very great price. They sell very beautiful jewelry, and have some really nice Bulova watches for sale. I highly recommend to anyone in the area needing resizing work, or repairs done.

We've been going to Jewelry and watch repair for about 20 plus years. The entire family have been honest and dependable. I recently took many vintage watches in for repair and the workmanship was done with care and skill. Some were complete restoration of quality wind-ups and some just needed batteries. I appreciate them taking the time to tell me if it was worth it to completely overhaul or not. I have received many compliments on the jewelry that has been uniquely made for me--it's great to have something you know that no other person in the world with have one just like you. Joe has even made some unique hunting gear for my husband and Father-in-law. Great quality workmanship and always great stories of Wheeling and the outdoors!

Found an old watch from 1963 that belongs to my late father. The crystal on top was missing, but the watch was engraved so I wanted to get it fixed and gift it to my brother. The shop was actually able to find a match for the 60 year old watch! Reasonable price and very pleased. Would go to again.

I took my engagement ring in to be resized. The ring was his grandmother’s & we did not want it to be sent off, so we felt most comfortable taking it to Jewelry & Watch Company because everything is done there. I dropped it off Monday & was originally told I could pick it up on Friday (the day after thanksgiving). The ring had been cleaned & inspected before being taken to Jewelry and Watch Co by another big jewelry company. The day after taking it in, they called and said the prongs should be replaced (which was not caught by 2 previous inspections within a few weeks) & asked if I wanted to pick it up Wednesday before thanksgiving. I was so excited & when I picked it up, I was even more excited. The ring looked completely different. It was so beautifully cleaned & it was breathtaking. The staff are so kind & they treat the jewelry as if it were their own. Definitely recommend bringing your jewelry here.
