We sat in drive thru at the speaker for about 10 mins before they took our order. Only 2 cars ahead of us, not many inside. Then they forgot items that we ordered. Finally when my husband did get his missed item ketchup and pickles and top bun were sideways off the patty.

Worst dq ever! My burger was a disaster cheese wasn't melted burgers weren't hot everything was sliding off the bun and the hot dog was smashed fries were cold! Girl working is thief worked at burger King and tried to pocket customers change (my husband called her out on it) also says online they have smoothies and they don't so need to update your online menu! If I didn't have to leave at least one star I would I won't be coming back here ever again! Cashier said " sorry it took so long your food got lost back there" place is horrible!

Amazing food and ice cream. The few things I dislike about this place is the location and the service, both are VERY flawed. Staff often get food orders wrong or miss something. Lots of flies and gnats are in the restaurants dining area. The parking and the drive thru is very strange.Parking: Around eight parking spaces however the area is really cramped and close to where the drive thru line is, difficult to get out of the lot if there is people in the line.

I give fast food chain restaurants three stars unless they do some thing exceptionally well. Typical small size small town dairy queen. The staff is super friendly. The place is overall clean. Except for the six flies on the window. Without the flies it would definitely be a great place to eat. Food was what you would expect from a Dairy Queen.

The mgr took our order tonight when we walked in. I told her I needed "4 Pup cones and since they're not with me just charge it under whatever you have to". After ringing up the rest of our order her nasty attitude shined bright! *Your dogs aren't with you so I'll have to charge for 4 kids cones* (it was in the WAY she said it). "Yes, ma'am I already stated that whatever you had to charge for was fine, but they're for my dogs"... it came to like $9 something for them not counting our meals, that's not the problem, it was all in the delivery - to top it off she left the paper on the cones and put them in a sundae cup which made it impossible to get paper off w/out being a COMPLETE MESS! Then when I pointed out that my "cup cake" had been melted in several layers after only taking ONE bite and it tasted HORRENDOUSLY freezer burnt- I asked to switch with the ONLY cup that wasn't melted in 3 layers at 3 different times. The only reason I didn't pick it first is bc it was BARELY a THIRD of the way it should have been full... I understand that sometimes you get busy and have to stop doing a project, but for the love that's all holy PUT IT BACK IN THE FREEZER until you can finish making it (PROPERLY)!!!! I worked at a Dairy Queen 20 years ago... I KNOW how/what they SHOULD look/taste like bc of that AND that's the only cold/frozen treat I usually get ANY DQ, besides the dipped cones... and after watching them handling money and doing a multitude of tasks w/out washing hands -needless to say I WON'T be getting anything "dipped" in the near future! 730pm on a Sunday. Drive thru so busy I waited in line for 20 minutes, without moving. Decided to go inside. At least 4 employees inside, doing NOTHING. And then the soft serve ice cream was so soft, it was dripping before I got back to the car.

First of all rude, incompetent employees. Wouldn't give half of our order. My sister and I always go here and they usually give us cheesecake crumbos for my sister's strawberry sundae. Well they didn't want to tonight prob all cause they were busy. We were EVEN willing to pay extra and still nothing. Let alone very rude service. And we usually like this store at SOUTH WHEEELING. Please retrain your employees with manners. And even if a costumer is willingly to pay for something extra like they normally do just do it and not try to fight with them. I won't be going to this one for a long time. 02/21/22 Arrived there around 6 something too and the drive through wait time was horrible! For only two items that were ice cream. Do better.

The service was excellent and the girl who brought our food to us was great! I am handicap and she brought my order to our car. Instead of a tip she said to do a survey and when come back I may get free dilly bars or a discount.

This is a great place in our community, most of the employees are young, working their first maybe second job. They all do a stellar job. It's where we take our kids in the summer for ice cream, the outside seating adds to the family/community atmosphere.

Great Dairy Queen if you're on the go. There is outdoor seating available at this location, weather permitted. The place is usually busy with a line but the wait time is minimal, as they get the orders out quickly. The quality of the food and treats are always on point.

I expected there to be a wait when I pulled in line because we were 4 cars back. What I didn't expect was to be handed all the drinks and ice cream, then told to pull forward where I would wait 15 minutes for my food, and for the gravy to not be in the bag when I got home. All the ice cream products were melted before we drove off. Told the boy that handed us our food we were upset and we were simply told to have a good day.

I was on my way to visit my dad and decided to surprise him with the new Jurassic blizzard. There were 3 cars in line so I figured there would be a wait. Nope not today! Heck I didn't have time to roll up my window, listen to the radio , or people watch. The lady at the window had a genuine kindness which is hard to come by in customer service. I have worked 15 years in retail and am well aware of the toll it can take on a person. When I delivered my dad his blizzard I told him how lovely this lady was at her job. He said they have always been great on everything they order! Thank you 😊

I ordered a 2 for 4, and a large mulatto then I got a large fry and total was 10.57. When I got to the window they gave me a caramel sundae instead of what I ordered. Told them I didn't want it, but they insisted I take it. They didn't adjust the price, because I wasn't paying for the sundae that cost me more than it should.

Well can’t say I’ve had a good experience here once. The Dairy Queen down by my house always tosses my chicken in buffalo when I ask , this once denies me every time , which isn’t a problem I’m not much of a complainer I’ll dip it I’m fine . But how do I dip them when both times I didn’t get my buffalo when asked multiple times ? Not only that I bite into my toast today and it isn’t even buttered . I’m annoyed really annoyed

ordered my food. asked for a 1/2lb flamethrower basket with no lettuce or tomatoes. waited. they gave my order to another guy behind me who ordered same thing. waited 10 more minutes. finally after 8 people ordered and got their food they acknowledged me. opened my sandwhich guess what? lettuce and tomatoes. to pissed to wait. im from out of town. wont be back

While sitting at the drive thru waiting to give my order, there was a car in front of me being waited on and there were guests in the lobby, the workers turned off the lights and didn’t even tell me that they were closing. It wasn’t even 9:00 yet. If that’s how they treat their customers, I will take my business to another DQ!!!

This experience was rude from beginning to end.I ordered a chicken basket at the price of 5.63. I was told my charge was 7.43...when I questioned the clerk..who was nice...asked if I want to speak to the manager..she was very rude .. told me the " the price was changed a couple weeks ago...I know it is wrong everywhere in this store...and it is false advertising...but you do not get a drink with this meal anymore....want it or not..." I took it without the drink..Do you know also that the dairy queens in wheeling are not a member of the chamber of commerce??? and that the Better Business Bureau cannot do anything...This is such a scam....Will not go there again.....shame...I really believe it is just the ones in wheeling...or the ones who are owned by this same person.

It wasn't very pleasant. They are slow, rude and don't know how to do their jobs. When they hand you a blizzard they are supposed to give it to you upside down and it's posted all over the store. And they still can't even get that right. They are also charging Ohio taxes. Taxes in WV are only 6% not 7.5%. but I don't know who to call and complain to about that.
