I absolutely adore sweet temptations!The shop is so warm and inviting, the food is do die for. Her talent as a baker is just amazing her sweet treats are so beautifully made , most of the time I just want to admire instead of eating. With all of that , the biggest part of this shop is the ladies ! Very professional they are all so wonderful and make you feel like family.

Where to begin? An understanding of balance of ingredients is essential, and my goodness, the confection maestro here understands that so well. From the sweeter items on the menu and in the case to the more savoury, every item here touches the palate beautifully, and you can really feel the care put into every dish. I live 4 hours away (round trip) and I will be happily coming back again for more.

Wonderful food in a charming little shop! Definitely worth a little bit of a wait for a meal of this quality. Everything is homemade, including the bread. The tomato bisque soup was outstanding. We got sundried tomato/pesto and artichoke/spinach grilled cheese sandwiches so that we could split them and try both. Wow! Impossible to pick a favorite. So delicious! Can't wait to try some of the other soups and sandwiches. Took a large cupcake home to my MIL and she was licking the paper to get every crumb. Delightful!

Ate there one other time a few years ago, and we thought it was really good but also very overpriced, so we haven't been back in awhile. This last time, the husband and I ordered ahead a half dozen maple bacon pecan rolls to pick up on a Saturday morning. $29. When I brought them home and opened the box, they were just big flat cinnamon rolls with bacon on top. No pecans. When we took them out, they were big and slimy, dripping with icing. I am also a home baker so I could see right away that the rolls were not proofed, but rolled out and tossed in the oven without letting them rise a second time. They came out extremely pale, flat and doughy, not light and fluffy and browned like a cinnamon roll should come out. We tried our best to eat them, but we found them to be so revolting we felt sick to our stomachs even trying to attempt it, and ended up throwing them all in the garbage. They were nothing short of disgusting. No exaggeration. So gross. I cannot understand how a top notch pastry chef would ever think to attempt to sell such a disgraceful product to one of their customers. $29 in the trash. Never again.

Had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at Vanessa's Sweet Temptations and had a cinnamon roll, iced tea, and a strawberry cream cheese cookie while I was an outside vendor. I have had just about everything from here and it is all delicious. However, we just had a plain vanilla cheesecake for my husband's birthday and I am not even kidding when I say I literally had to stop halfway through and praise the Lord! It felt wrong not to immediately give thanks. It was amazing! My girl Vanessa is the absolute best!

The ladies at Sweet temptations offered a buy 1 get 1 free special today until 3:00 p.m. My wife and I partook of this and we were very happy with the outcome. We ordered 2 brownies with some beautiful icing, and some bacon cinnamon rolls, which were huge! Both items were absolutely delicious. The service and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend Sweet Temptations for a fantastic dessert spot! You will not be disappointed :)

Absolutely amazing! We randomly heard about this place from some locals after swinging through the area on a roadtrip.... The cheesecake has the perfect texture, thick, creamy, decadent, and the right amount of sweetness to balance it out. The brownies are rich, moist, with partially melted chocolate chips to add some extra texture. The custard cup things... Oh my goodness, super creamy, refreshing, and such a complex flavor profile that just works. Absolutely worth the detour if you're ever swinging through the area. Be sure to order a few days in advance if you want something special. They sell out quick!

Food was very good. Had a chili dog, bowl of white chicken chili, and bottle of water. But I was shocked when I got my check for over $20 for the meal. They do not post prices in advance.

Best Pastry Shop in town. I have ordered multiple cakes from Vanessa. She does all of my girls birthday cakes and she did my wedding cake. All of them were amazing and my wedding cake was everything I could have wanted and better. The inside of this shop is so cozy and comfortable. The lunch specials are to die for and the pastries are so yummy. I love Sweet Temptations! They will always have my business 😍

I loved the Tomato Basil Soup. Excellent. Chicken salad had a little too much dressing…. But it was good.Chocolate Biscotti was excellent. Not overly sweet. This is nearby so I will be stopping by soon.

Let’s talk about delicious beautiful cookies and this gooey masterpiece called a s’more bar. 10 stars for yummy yummy goodness!!! Reasonably priced too. Vanessa is very nice and accommodating. I called her this morning needing at least 4 dozen cookies for a meeting (I shop local whenever possible) and she happened to have a few dozen chocolate chip but said she’d whip up a dozen sugar cookies just for me and have it ready in 2 hours. I added a dozen of those s’more bars to the order and when I got to her cute shop, I saw the giant hand made pepperoni rolls and picked up a few of those as well for lunch for my coworkers. Highly recommend!

I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Growing up we always went to Bethel Bakery and continue to until Sweet Temptations opened up. For my birthday this year I ordered a cake. It was out of this world! My 90 year old grandmother even said it was better than bethel bakery! That is saying a lot coming from my grandma.... Don’t forget to order her cannolis! Absolutely amazing! You won’t be disappointed!
