I bought stuff a few days ago and did not get a receipt. I tried to return it today and the new store manager said they do not take returns without receipt due to theft (like I would steal) I spend so much money in this store and have never been accused of stealing. I dontt have any theft records anywhere, it’s not in my nature. This new manager is only making this horrible store ten times worse, I hope she doesn’t end up at the new one or I’ll just shop over by aldis from now on. By the way, that’s not a new policy to not take returns without a receipt because the dollar general by aldis took the stuff back and gave me store credit for what I needed.

5-27-2023. I conducted my Saturday morning grocery shopping at the Dollar General on Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton, WV, and Brenda greeted me when I entered. I was at a loss to find some items on my list, and Brenda gladly assisted me. I love shopping at this store, the employees are always eager to help, and they have great attitudes. Thanks for all your help today, Brenda! I recommend this store to family and friends.6-3-2023. Brenda smiled and made eye contact as she greeted me when I came in today. She asked how my week went. I was able to find everything on my list. The store was wonderfully neat and clean today. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Brenda approached me while shopping and asked if I needed Sunchips today, which made me feel so good that she remembered that I loved them. I told her I still had a full bag at home but would purchase some next week. I have made the Pennsylvania Avenue Dollar General my Go-To store on Saturdays since they are well-stocked and because of my report with Brenda, the store manager. She is always friendly and accommodating and will bend over backward to make her customers happy. I highly recommend this Dollar General location and Brenda to family, friends, and everybody! She is awesome <38-2-2023 When I entered the Dollar General Store on Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton, West Virginia, this afternoon, Brenda greeted me with a smile and eye contact. She asked where I had been and that she had missed me. I told her I had been shopping at Three Springs because they had stock, but I had an issue yesterday and will not return there again. Brenda said to come in, and she would take care of me. I found everything I was looking for, and my $3 off $15 coupon was still on my account after the incident at the other store since I purchased nothing and left the store. Brenda rang my order up and matched perfectly everything I had on my sheet printed from my Online List from DG. Brenda knows how to take care of her customers. I thought the person at Three Springs did until today, but she failed miserably. I recommend the Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV, Dollar General store, and Brenda to family and friends. Her store is my new go-to for my Saturday grocery shopping.8-5-2023. Brenda took great care of me again today as I had my Saturday list. She was busy stocking but took time to help me find items I required. She also ensured my $5 off $25 coupon worked. Thanks, Brenda, for another wonderful DG Saturday visit. <310-10-2023. I visited DG on Pennsylvania Avenue today because they had the flavor of 9 Lives cat food our cat loves in stock. When I entered, I was greeted with a smile by Bry (pronounced Bree). She welcomed me back since it had been a couple of months since I had been there. I was able to find most of the items on my list. Bry found the Borax in top stock lying on its front, so the box was not visible. All prices matched my list and the receipt. I had a weekday $5 off $25 coupon, which Bry ensured worked. The store was nice and clean, well-stocked, and had a nice atmosphere. Bry was the only employee working today, and she did a wonderful job of serving several customers during my visit. She assisted them in finding items in the store and cashed them out. Bry maintained a professional manner; she was friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend Bry and this Dollar General location to family and friends.

Love the Dollar General. This store always has stocked shelves and a very friendly staff. Four out of five stars for the stock carts in the aisles. Aside from that, a great store with a great staff.

I really like this store...it has everything at a great price!! The only improvement I would strongly suggest is having more then 1 cashier open...the line gets long..it would be appreciated if you could get in and out alittle quicker.

I hate that I have to wait at the check out until someone finally sees you and comes to check you out. I'd waited over 5mins for someone to notice me. They are very nice but they seem under employed.
