Absolute train wreck 90% of the time. Get automated phone calls for other people and miss communications from people on the counter. Just went through three weeks of them saying my medicine was back ordered. Then a lady said it would be shipping on the 24…then I stopped and they said my precious had expired in the spring. After getting an automated call it was ready and to pick it up three weeks ago. This is what happens when corporate America gets involved and chisels the service out of something. I am now doing the leg work to get my doctors office to resend the prescription they said expired…but the Dr office shows it was done on the 17th as an auto renew. I am going to check for a local family owned pharmacy. Don’t have time to check their work and do mine too.

My family and I went in Monday night and my mom had a question for the pharmacist. She did not know we were together and starts talking about my mom in front of me. I did say something about her being unprofessional. I spoke with my mom and she hadn’t been in so the pharmacist had the wrong person. Pharmacist was so unprofessional and my family and friends will never do business with Walgreens again. Her unprofessional behavior should be looked into and she needs to apologize to my mom. Instead of an apology she informed me she would have said the same thing to my mom’s face. What?

I encountered the rudest receptionist at the pharmacy today. Please get nicer staff and more understanding staff, people that care about people type staff

I always went to Rite Aid for many years until my insurance dropped them and I had to leave them. This year I changed insurance plans and discovered I could go back but they are Walgreens now, two years later. So much had changed. I knew everyone of course when I left, but when I returned, there was only one person left out of the whole staff remaining. Still, I always enjoy meeting new people so that didn’t bother me. It didn’t take me long to see this pharmacy had gone downhill bad, in every way! They couldn’t get my prescriptions, the guy who orders them was off for a week so when he returned I gave him a couple days and called back, this time they treated me like I was calling in my own prescription, telling me they couldn’t give that to me. I said again, I’m calling to see if my prescription is ready from last week! He couldn’t handle it at all, a woman had to take my call and get my name again, couldn’t find any prescription ordered for me, which I knew it was; total nightmare. During the week though, the phone calls are nasty! If you have to call them expect to be on on hold listening to elevator music for a minimum of a half hour to an hour or more. They put me on hold and that disconnect me. I call back and went through the same ritual. Three times!! When I was a customer the first time when it was Rite Aid, the staff actually answered themselves, and they were always pleasant and friendly. The day they couldn’t find my order was the day I dropped them like a hot potato. No way would I want to continue that kind of business with them. Sheesh. I certainly do not recommend Walgreens in Vienna. I’d give them a 0 rating if I could.

We have left this store for a different pharmacy after many years. We noticed that after it became Walgreens, even with the same staff, the service really deteriorated. It is nearly impossible to get through on the phone to a person in the pharmacy. The line will go dead or we are supposedly on hold and no one ever picks up. When we transferred to a different place, they said it might take a while because they also can hardly ever get through! One of the staff (not a pharmacist) was almost rude in attitude and would not do what the pharmacist told her was needed in order to look up a medication. Just stood there. We have had enough!

I normally do not take the time to posts reviews, but after the FOURTH bad experience with this pharmacy I am absolutely done. The employees that work up front are friendly and helpful, the pharmacy staff, however, are absolutely incompetent. First experience, I was told my Rx would be ready by 1pm on that very same day(Friday). I stopped by at 1pm on my way to work, but it wasn't ready. After working 3 days in a row, I stopped by Monday EVENING, more than 72 hours after my Rx was due to be filled. They still hadn't filled it; in fact the tech had to find my misplaced script. By the time she found it, they were able to fill it in 5 minutes flat. On another occasion, I stood in line for 20 minutes while the tech struggled to enter in discount coupons for a customer in front of me. I finally made my way to the counter and dropped off my Rx. 4 hours later, I receive a call from the pharmacy stating that they don't have enough of the medication in stock to fill it. So I drive back, pick up my script and take it to CVS who actually CHECKS to make sure they have the medication in stock, and had the Rx filled before I even arrived home; a mere 15 minutes away. On another instance, I stood in line awaiting my flu shot. While I did, I witnessed 3 of the techs lazily searching through all the completed prescriptions that were hanging on the racks because they couldn't find an elderly gentleman's as he was waiting in the drive-thru. Seriously? You misplaced a prescription medication? It's your very job to keep track of and distribute these meds. On top of that, ALL 3 of the techs were searching through it while customers inside the store stood, waited, and watched this side show. I gave them one final chance, asking if they could have my Rx ready by noon(I requested this at 9am, giving them 3 hours). The tech gave me a very hesitant "probably". I said, I need a real answer and for you to be honest. Then she says "well it might be a little later in the day actually." I took back my script, and drove it out of my way to CVS. CVS, without hesitation said they would have it filled before noon, and even checked that they had the med. 20 minutes later I received a text from CVS stating my Rx was complete. Things happen, and mistakes are made, but Walgreens is downright incapable, disorganized, and frankly unapologetic and unfriendly. Save yourself the headache and frustration, go to a different pharmacy.

Terrible customer service. Walgreens has picked up where Rite Aid left off. It shouldn’t take almost 4 days to fill a prescription. Also I had a valid prescription for another refill from Rite Aid. Walgreens won’t refill.

Would not recommend going to this Pharmacy, it seems they did all they could to stop me from getting my medicine. Was one thing after another, error after error and still didn't get my medicine after dealing with this location and another location. Very incompetent and unprofessional.

What takes them so long to fill a prescription? They get it in the a.m. and don’t have it ready until late in the afternoon!The shelves are not stocked,so many empty shelves!
